I have been a real estate agent for the past 16 years. I am an independent contractor with United Real Estate which is a rapidly growing agency in Indianapolis and was started in Kansas city in the early 30’s. I have been an independent contractor for Coldwell Banker, Century 21 and Carpenter. I have choose to stay at United because they give me the freedom I need as an independent contractor. In order words I have flexibility on commissions. I am a full service agent so I do not work for free but I do have the ability to be more than fair on pricing. I have been an Angie’s List Super Service Award winner every year since 2010. I have also been named a Five Star Realtor every year since 2011. I work all over the Indianapolis metropolitan area including Carmel, Zionsville, Brownsburg and others. I am a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI). I graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. I am married with three grown children so I am able to devote full time to real estate. I work with both Buyers and Sellers. You will find me extremely honest, available, and professional. Coming from a first time home buyer, Mike was very informative on the steps to buying a home and had helpful contacts for everything I needed (i.e. loan provider, inspector, etc.). Mike also demonstrated his experience and knowledge in real estate throughout the process when answering questions about writing offers and what to look for in homes and he was willing to show us homes and work at inconvenient times to work with our schedule. I highly recommend Mike as a realtor and even though the homebuying process can be stressful and long he was also able to supply a few laughs along the way and get us into our first home in a reasonable amount of time especially given today's housing market.

It went very well. I chose Mike Puckett because of his stellar online reviews and I wasn’t disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly he was able to sell our house. The entire process took about a month from start to closing. I live out of town and Mike was able to guide me through the entire process and he kept me informed almost daily. Most everything was processed electronically which was convenient. Mike is very knowledgeable and by his guidance, we were able to secure an offer above the asking price and much sooner than I expected. I couldn’t have hoped for a better first time home buying experience. I had spoken to a couple other realtors before speaking with Mike, and it was immediately evident how different his approach was. He asked me several questions to determine what I was looking for and where, things that I wouldn’t have even thought about. He knew it was our first home, and offered advice at every turn to keep us educated and confident with every decision we made. I knew early on we made the right decision going with him, and I know his help was pivotal in us feeling so confident with the decision we made in choosing our home. It went great, Mike helped us determine the price for our home and gave us suggestions for preparing it for showings. He hired professional photographers for the listing photos, virtual tour and drone video. He also paid for additional advertising sources for our home, besides the MLS listing. We received multiple offers and ended up accepting an over-list price within two weeks. Mike was always readily available to answer any questions we had. He also assisted with the showings when we were out of town.

Mike was extremely reliable in all of our needs when locating and purchasing a home. He was willing to go out of his way to help us out with anything we wanted. He has a wonderful can do attitude and would even have some fun with us as well. One of the biggest upsides is that he is a practicing Christian, and it shows through with his attitude and integrity and would never lie or cheat us and would not try to push us past our budget. I came to Mike as an inexperienced first-time home buyer that didn't know much about the process. He took his time explaining the ins and outs of the process to me and helped me submit my first offer on a home. He offered grandfatherly wisdom and made me feel so comfortable that I instantly knew I could trust him and his expert judgement. Lo and behold, I was feeling uneasy about proceeding with buying the home after my inspection as a result of a few more required fixes than I would have liked. Mike didn't push me to buy or do something I was uncomfortable with. He sympathized with me and worked tirelessly for me to be able to receive my earnest money back. There's not enough that I can say about the great level of professionalism, due diligence, and character that Mike possesses and applies to his work. My home buying process didn't workout this time around, but Mike is the only realtor I will consider when I'm ready to look again. I don’t even know where to begin when I tell you that there is no way you will find a better, harder working, and more caring realtor than Mike Puckett. Forget real-estate…finding people in life of this caliber is just a rare thing in general. I feel very fortunate to have been able to work with Mike and to now be able to call him a friend. I am a first-time home buyer and was relocating to Indianapolis from out-of-state for a new position at my work. This was a very stressful period of my life as I had never bought a home before, was not familiar with Indianapolis, in the middle of moving across the country, and starting a brand-new position all at the same time. Mike went above and beyond to make sure that I made the right decision. He never once pressured me into a decision or tried to sway me in a direction. In fact, he did just the opposite at times. If he felt like something wasn’t right, he told me even if that choice was not in his favor. Everything Mike did over these last few months was ALWAYS in my favor. Many late-night calls were had to ensure everything was done correctly and immediately on his end. He even visited countless homes for me while I was still living on the other side of the country to tell me whether they were good or not and what the pros and cons were. I don’t think it is possible to list all the things Mike did beyond his duties to help me find a home and make the right decisions. He is an extremely honest man and gave me what he honestly felt like were the peaks and pits of each home we looked at. I felt as if he advised and treated me like he would his own daughter. Not only was he so caring, but his knowledge of real-estate, home repairs/ maintenance, and of the Indianapolis area is incredible. I swear Mike knows it all!! And if he didn’t, he told me that he didn’t and told me who he knew that I should talk to about it. Once I found a home, Mike stuck with me through a complicated closing and made sure that I understood each step along the way. We are now two weeks past closing and I just got off the phone with Mike again! He is still with me throughout these changes even though we have already closed! Mike truly is the best. I highly, highly recommend Mike as your realtor. You will not regret it!

I have worked with Mike to buy houses on two occasions and now to sell the first house. If I had any further housing needs, I would not hesitate to contact him again (although I hope not to have any needs in the upcoming years). Mike is always punctual, responsive, and helpful, and the level of experience he brings to the equation is unmatched. This was my 2nd house I sold with Mike. We we not prepared to sell, but a house came up we couldn't pass up. Mike helped us stage and get on the market super quick (and worked with us on our purchase). The market slowed and we were worried, but Mike and his team were in constant contact. We had many open houses and eventually sold the house for our the asking price we needed. I can't even think about moving again right now, but when we do we will use Mr. Puckett again.
