"Customer did refuse to pay and we sued him and we won the judgement in early April, which was right before he posted this review. We now have an open judgement against him. We do not have any kids working for us. The work was completed as requested and the drainage problem was solved, so his statement about going with another provider is not true. As far as weeds on his property, we stopped working for him in 2013 when he stopped paying his bills, so we are not sure who is treating his lawn now and we are still working for his neighbor and have worked for him for over 4 years now."
"Our crew has been with us for over five years and they do go above and beyond for customers. After concerns were addressed about mowing around items, we spoke to our employees and they did pick up the toys and rocks that continued to be left in the lawn each week. They even picked up large piles of garden weeds that the customer threw into the yard prior to the lawn cut. In regards to items being put into the leaf blower, that was not the case. There was a golf ball in the lawn and one of the crew members blew it threw the lawn onto the curb so it would not be ran over by the mower. We addressed this with him and explained that the perception was that he was putting things in the blower and that he should have just picked the item up rather than blowing it. I spoke to the customer and took her concerns seriously and had the crew members make adjustments to meet her needs. We even hand pulled weeds out of her landscape beds on multiple occasions over the past several months. In regards to the tree removal, no one expressed any anger towards this customer. We just asked in an email, why a different company was hired after we had given a quote and have been working on the property for the past six months and were told by the customer that they needed to do things in stages and would have us do it at a later date. The response to our question was because they found someone cheaper and would have more trees taken down at a later time. In regards to the neighbor asking for a quote, her request was for us to trim weeds with a weed eater in a small area that was full of poison ivy. We do small jobs for customers all the time and usually at no charge if we are already working on the property. In regards to calling and not getting an answer, I was in a meeting and returned the call within two hours and I did not receive an answer so I sent an email letting customer know that I tried to return her call and would be available if she wanted to give me a call back. We pride ourselves on customer service and are sorry that things did not work out. This review came after we informed the customer this week that we would no longer be servicing their account."
In addition to this job, every other service that they provide has always been excellent. I am a doctor, so I need to leave my house early in the morning. When it snows, they have my snow cleared by 6:30 am so that I am not late for work. Their fall clean-up is also reasonable. I have many trees, but they never fail to remove my leaves.
"The request to complete the work was on February 19th, 2013, which was still when the temperatures were extremely cold and grass is not cut that early in the year. We completed the work as soon as the weather allowed on March 12, 2013. A quote was provided to [member name removed] and he agreed to the price prior to the completion of the work. We would also assume that the second request for payment crossed in the mail with the customers check. The reason we decided not to work for this customer any further was because of excessive dog feces in the yard that the customer would not clean up."
