Description of Work: Harry had topper made for sliding glass door out of PB curtains. He then hung it and also hung other curtains and affixed curtain rods. |It looked beautiful. Harry does a wonderful job and he is very nice. |I have used him before this, and will be using him again soon.

 + -1 moreWe have large picture windows with draw drapes, and the traverse rod in the bedroom gave out (pretty critical, since that's what covers the window at night). I called several places, only to be told they didn't carry rods that big, or would have to special-order them, or that their installer wouldn't touch the job because of the size and the fact that the house has concrete-block walls. Merin Interiors not only had the rod in stock, they worked with my schedule and did a beautiful job of replacing it and rehanging my drapes. Harry Merin explained to me that the valance was not properly hung, creating more strain on the traverse rod, and worked out a way to hang it correctly using the rod I already had rather than charging me for a new one. Not only that, but he returned to finish that part of the job on Easter. I am tremendously pleased, and I highly recommend Merin Interiors!
Description of Work: Replaced a broken traverse rod on a large 1950s-style picture window and redid the valance rod to accommodate my drapes. Work was done beautifully -- he even came back to finish the job on a holiday.

 + -1 moreMERIN INTERIORS Merin Interiors, did a wonderful job. A little pricey, but affordable. He will work with you on the bill and everything. We work with him 8 years ago also.
Description of Work: MERIN INTERIORS I had Merin Interiors, out sometime in March, or April to do window treatments, (draperies). It cost about $1300.

Description of Work: Mr. Merin gave me a quote for three window coverings even suggesting less expensive options as I picked out the color I wanted. As soon as he received them from the HunterDouglas factory, he called and we agreed on an installation date. They are beautiful, exactly what I wanted, and the price was exactly the same as his quote!

 + -1 moreHarry Merin is a treasure. Today, Thanksgiving, he called to say my sheers were ready and he was ready to come out today to install them...WOW! Not only did he hang the new sheers but noticed one large rod in the living room was coming loose. He fixed that at no additional charge. His quality of product and his professionalism are an absolute delight. Actually, I told the third company's guy to call me if he ever needed drapes and I would give him Merin's number. This is probably the best experience I've had with a contractor ever.
Description of Work: Merin was 460...second company was 1957.52...third company was 2038. Merin got the job after checking Angie's List He has done so much commercial work, including the new Conrad. His experience was great but the difference in estimates did make me a bit concerned. Not to worry he replaced the third company with a far better product.

 + -1 moreWHILE THERE WAS A SIGNIFICANT DELAY OF THE INSTALLATION (BACK ORDERED GOODS WAS THE CLAIM). WE BELIEVE MORE TIMELY COMMUNICATION COULD POSSIBLY HAVE IMPROVED INSTALLATION TIME FROM 8-25-04 WHEN THE ORDER WAS PLACED, UNTIL THE FINAL STAGE OF INSTALLATION WAS COMPLETED 11-11-04. HOWEVER, HARRY IS ATTENTIVE AND CUSTOMER ORIENTED.
Description of Work: INSTALLATION OF LIVING ROOM DRAPES, CORNICE AND BLINDS.
