We have large picture windows with draw drapes, and the traverse rod in the bedroom gave out (pretty critical, since that's what covers the window at night). I called several places, only to be told they didn't carry rods that big, or would have to special-order them, or that their installer wouldn't touch the job because of the size and the fact that the house has concrete-block walls. Merin Interiors not only had the rod in stock, they worked with my schedule and did a beautiful job of replacing it and rehanging my drapes. Harry Merin explained to me that the valance was not properly hung, creating more strain on the traverse rod, and worked out a way to hang it correctly using the rod I already had rather than charging me for a new one. Not only that, but he returned to finish that part of the job on Easter. I am tremendously pleased, and I highly recommend Merin Interiors!

Harry Merin is a treasure. Today, Thanksgiving, he called to say my sheers were ready and he was ready to come out today to install them...WOW! Not only did he hang the new sheers but noticed one large rod in the living room was coming loose. He fixed that at no additional charge. His quality of product and his professionalism are an absolute delight. Actually, I told the third company's guy to call me if he ever needed drapes and I would give him Merin's number. This is probably the best experience I've had with a contractor ever.

WHILE THERE WAS A SIGNIFICANT DELAY OF THE INSTALLATION (BACK ORDERED GOODS WAS THE CLAIM). WE BELIEVE MORE TIMELY COMMUNICATION COULD POSSIBLY HAVE IMPROVED INSTALLATION TIME FROM 8-25-04 WHEN THE ORDER WAS PLACED, UNTIL THE FINAL STAGE OF INSTALLATION WAS COMPLETED 11-11-04. HOWEVER, HARRY IS ATTENTIVE AND CUSTOMER ORIENTED.
