Auto Service
I went there for convenience. It's close to my house. They fixed a turn signal. It's broken again but it's just not worth the effort to take it back to them.
Response from Mechanically Inclined Auto
"We are sorry to hear that the turn signal issues that you were having in December that we diagnosed as a defective turn signal switch, which we then replaced in January, have returned. We would assume that to be a relatively recent incident, since we did not hear about it in March when we saw the Accord again for the squeak that turned out to be a necessary ball joint replacement. That turn signal repair has a minimum of a 12 month/12,000 mile part and labor warranty, with the part itself holding a lifetime warranty. So if the concern is related to that repair, it should not cost you anything. Let us know when you'd like to schedule it in, and we will be happy to take care for that for you!"

As always Mechanically Inclined Auto got me in quickly and gave fast, honest, and economically priced service. I dropped my car off in the afternoon, they diagnosed, got my approval for the service and had it done by the next morning (they didn't have my battery in stock so had to get one in, otherwise it would have been same-day service. I'll keep coming back.

Auto Service, Suspension + 1 more
I can't say enough good things about Mechanically Inclined. They do excellent work and provide excellent customer service for (sometimes surprisingly) fair prices. I bought a Honda Civic that needed work, from a questionable dealer on the south side (I know, I know?but I have a really good mechanic, so it turned out fine). Even after MI did extensive suspension work and replaced the head gasket, I still feel like the car was a good value. MI took a car no one should ever buy and turned it into an awesome car that could last me 200,000 miles if I want it to. After 4,000 miles and several long road trips, I haven't had a single issue. And I get 35?41 miles to the gallon now!
Ted, the head mechanic, has decades of experience. He is intelligent and personable. His staff are top-notch. They'll drive you home if you live close by. They offer free roadside assistance if you've had work done in the last 6 months. They put on fundraisers for local organizations that serve the homeless. I've even heard tell of them rescuing neighbors who are stuck in the snow; I haven't witnessed it personally, but knowing them, I believe it. It's an all-around great group of people, and you'd do well to do business with them.

Auto Service, Starters
I was eating. A couple doors down at Rock-ola. When I came out my car would not start. I walked down to this shop for help. The owner walked back with me and got me started. He gave me a quote on a new starter and we scheduled the repair. Service level was better than the dealership at better price and I trust them more. Will be a regular.

Auto Service
The oil change, vehicle inspection, and tire rotation were completed as requested. During the vehicle inspection a small leak was found in a line. The shop repaired it good as new!

They set the schedule. It was a little less than what they coded for. Everything was performed as it should be. The car was repaired and it went fine. They did a good job. It was not bad. Their professionalism on how they approach you, the waiting area, and receptionist was all fine.
