McWhirter Sealcoating

On 9/15/13, a representative of McWhirter Sealcoating Company approached my husband about sealing our driveway. We were given an estimate of $400. We looked up the company on Angie?s List and although they only had 2 reviews, we chose to do business with them. On 9/16/13, they came out and worked on the driveway. My husband noted there were a number of cracks that were not filled and the sealer was applied very thin and did not cover the driveway completely. They stated they would return the next day and complete the job. My husband paid for the work in good faith knowing no one would be home when they returned. They did not return. My husband called the representative on 9/19/13 and spoke to a lady who told him someone was working near our home and would be over to look at the driveway and he could expect a call on 9/20/13. No call. On 9/23/13, I called Bill McWhirter directly and told him about the unfinished work. He said he would be over that evening and the work would be completed by the weekend. Again, no call and no visit. I called again on 9/30/13 and left a voicemail for Mr. McWhirter requesting a return call. Still no call. Our check has been cashed and the work is incomplete.

They came and did a very thin coating for my driveway. They were supposed to seal all the cracks but they did not. I told them they needed to come back and fix the problem and they did.

Fulfilled all commitments with the application. Even went over an area I thought was light. I will update when they return in 6 months.
