I bought dishwasher online from Best Buy and set up installation with them. Dishwasher was delivered and Geek squad (Best Buy) came to install. They took one look at old one and said they could not get it out because we had had new flooring put in several years before and they said old dishwasher was "floored in" and left. So I called McKeand since they had done flooring. They came out that day, looked at it and said they could do it. They took out old dishwasher, installed new one, and disposed of old one without doing anything to floor. And I had dishwasher in time for Thanksgiving! It cost a little more than Geek Squad, but it was definitely worth it.

it was great. The service was excellent and very courteous workman. Will use again and would highly recommend. They were on time and cleaned up everything.

. I was very pleased. I had removed vinyl flooring, tub and drywall down to the studs. I had  a plumber install the tub with the intent to finish the tile installation. After I sustained an injury, we decided to contract out the tile installation. Dennis Minton of McKeand Construction did a wonderful job installing the floor and bath wall tile.The floor was pretty straightforward although he needed to remove a layer of Luan and install 1/4 inch Durock to stabilize the floor. The wall behind the toilet and bath area was fairly complicated with several sizes of tile and a rather unusual glass door.installation. They finished the install today and it looks great. Their price was not the lowest but when they came out to give us an estimate, they seemed to be more knowledgeable about the details.

The estimate process was very easy with a very thorough estimate. Scheduling the start of the work took more time than I expected. However, once the work started everything went great. Dennis was on time every morning and made a lot of progress each day. He did a very good job of keeping everything neat and clean (as it can be while tearing out tile and showers). The new flooring and shower looks great - all of the trim and patching of the wall where the old shower came out finished out beautifully. I had one small item that needed some follow up on and the company was very good about getting back and taking care of the problem. I would definitely do business with this company again.

It looked nice and it was good. Their price, quality, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism were very good. I will recommend them and have already recommended them. I will use them again in the future.

Workmanship fairly good except for sme sloppy items and damage by workers. Didn't sow up when scheduled and used several different workers on same project. Project management was poor, instructions to workers were limited leading to delays.

Our experience was absolutely wonderful! He was extremely friendly. We were gone on spring break when he actually came, but he scheduled us right away and came in and did everything fantastic. He's very trustworthy. I would definitely recommend him to anybody.

I was very happy with the work provided. Tom was professional and responsive and answered all of my questions about the quote, estimate and work to be completed. The work crew was efficient, personable and experienced in their craft.

They did a nice job. They communicated with me and the insurance company and helped us out. Our experience with them was very good.

It did leak when they first left, I called, and they came back and fixed it right away.

MCKEAND'S LABOR ESTIMATE WAS MUCH HIGHER ($600-$800 HIGHER) THAN OTHERS, BUT I HIRED THEM BECAUSE I AM PREPARING MY HOME FOR SALE. OTHERS TOLD ME THAT MCKEAND WAS METICULOUS IN THEIR WORK AND I WOULD GET GOOD SERVICE FOR MY MONEY. OVERALL THEIR WORK WAS SATISFACTORY, BUT I WAS UPSET WITH A FEW DETAILS. FIRST, I LEFT WORK EARLY ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE JOB AND ON ARRIVING HOME I FOUND THE FOLLOWING: (1) TOILET IN HALF BATH WAS USED AND UNFLUSHED; (2) A BANANA FROM MY KITCHEN HAD BEEN EATEN, AND THE PEEL LEFT ON MY STAIRWAY INSTEAD OF IN TRASH CAN; (3) A GLASS FROM MY CUPBOARD HAD BEEN USED AND LEFT DIRTY IN MY KITCHEN SINK; AND (4) THE DRYWALL PERSON WHO REPAIRED THE BATHROOM WALL AFTER INSTALLATION WAS SLOPPY, FLINGING WET MATERIAL ON OTHER PARTS OF MY BATHROOM. TO BOOT, HE EVEN LAUGHED ABOUT HIS SLOPPINESS WHILE DOING SO. I ALSO DID NOT APPRECIATE THAT TOM MCKEAND FAILED TO ITEMIZE HIS INTIAL ESTIMATE, CAUSING ME TO RESEARCH THE TRUE LABOR AND MATERIAL COST.

EXCELLENT, POLITE, PUNCTUAL, WELL PLANNED, AND VERY PROFESSIONAL WORK. THEY SHOWED GREAT CARE IN MAKING SURE THE INSTALLATION WENT SMOOTHLY. EVEN THE INTERIOR OF THE CABINET WAS PERFECTLY FINISHED, CLEANED, PAINTED, AND TRIMMED AFTER INSTALLATION OF THE NEW UNITS. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND MCKEAND CONSTRUCTION FOR THE QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM OF THEIR WORK.

THEY WERE ALL POLITE, FRIENDLY, ON TIME, CAREFUL WITH THINGS IN THE HOUSE. ALWAYS CLEANED UP EACH DAY. NO LOUD MUSIC PLAYING WHILE THEY WORKED. A VERY FEW SMOKED, ONLY OUTSIDE. NO BAD LANGUAGE, CLEAN AT START OF EACH DAY (WORKERS WERE) OWNER INSPECTED WORK ALMOST EVERY DAY.

CREW WAS ON TIME, SHOWED UP EVERY DAY, POLITE AND CONSIDERATE.
