The carpenter, Jack hammered concrete and removed as necessary and built wooden replacement deck with steps and railing very skillfully. Investigated apparent sagging of front porch over hang and installed columns with structurally sound results.

Chris (proprietor) came recommended by my realtor and mortgage lender. I was told 'he treats every house like it's his own' and after a farily lengthy remodeling experience (nothing to do with Mac Services), I believe that is an accurate statement. I actually hired Chris before seeing his work which made me pretty nervous. But as a former carpenter and an overall pretty good judge of character, I felt very comfortable with Chris immediately upon meeting with him. He is really good at listening to and communicating with the customer. He is very clear about what he is going to do or what he thinks should be done. I left the key to my house in a lock box for his crew to use, and I was always comfortable with his workers being in my home regardless if I was there or not. My project was somewhere around $35k. Originally that was supposed to include fixtures and things but I chose to buy a lot of that stuff myself and use the contracted money for more work. I had my kitchen completely rearranged with the sink on the opposite side of the room and a beautiful granite L-shape counter top installed. I also had a closet removed next to the bathroom so the bathroom could be bigger. I also had a larger tub installed and the toilet moved. The first word that comes to mind to describe Mac Services is quality. Things are done right and shortcuts are not taken. Chris is really good about scheduling, and he stands behind his work as much as anyone I've ever met. I have since called on Chris to install a door (which they really do a fantastic job at) and will continue to use his services wherever necessary. Value is another descriptor. I believe that the quality you get for the price you pay is an excellent value. I had a lot of work done and a lot of the planning had to be done before I even had a key to the house. It was hard to make so many decisions in such a short period of time. There are a few minor design points that I would have liked done differently. I should point out that I am apparently quite particular in how I like things (I have learned more about myself during this remodel than anything!) However, while my project turned into a custom kitchen and a custom bathroom, I did not originally hire Mac Services to do design work - they were hired to do a simple renovation. If I had less going on I would hopefully have had more communication about how I wanted things. Just about anything that was done without input from me was done in a way that I believe was the correct approach (matching existing features, repairing things a certain way, etc). I can recommend Chris McCreight and Mac Services with a good conscience. Chris is a stand-up guy and I am honored to have him work on my home.

They are awesome. Chris is really, really awesome in his work, answers all our questions, really showed us the design lay-out and I'd highly recommend them. What stands out is he and the product for being better than I thought it would, his designs and all of that. There's only too much, you can picture from blueprints that the end work and he pretty much would give us a lot of the details.

When Chris came out to give us an estimate, he gave us all of our options and I feel like he really listened to what I wanted. He drew up drawings and had us look at them before the work began. We had a small snag with the city and the permit (they said my house sits 5 inches too close to the street), but Chris was able to come up with a solution and make everything still work. The work took about 2 weeks, but I'm sure they would have been finished sooner if it hadn't rained so much. Chris would stop by when it was going to rain to make sure everything was covered with a tarp properly. The crew also cleaned up after themselves every night before they left (most nights they worked until it was dark out). They paid close attention to detail and we are very happy with the new porch. It makes our house look completely different. Chris also kept in constant contact with us and we never had trouble getting in touch with him. Very professional from start to finish.

Mac Services did an incredible job remodeling our master bath. It was a complicated renovation with many unique features. The owner, Chris McCreight is a remarkable hard working young man. He is unlike any contractor I have ever dealt with in my 66 years and I have built four houses and have remodeled several others over my life and have never run into any contractor as conscientious about his work. In addition, something really refreshing, especially for a contractor, is when he says he will show up he actually does and he stayed on the job until it was finished.

They are responsive. They are professional. I would use their service in the future too.

The roofer was great. He was very friendly and extremely thorough. He and his crew picked up after themselves. He was very punctual. He stayed very late to make sure everything was in its place. He went around the second time to make sure that everything upstairs was dust free since my son is asthmatic. He came back and spent additional time. He called us to make sure that everything was put back where it was supposed to be.

We highly recommend Mac Services of Ohio. Chris McCreight is very professional and knowledgeable. His company provides quality workmanship. He came out personally prior to the start of the job to discuss all aspects of the job and to make sure that all were on the same page and was very informative of the timetable and expectations of all phases of the job. After the start of the job he continued to keep us informed of his progress and any changes. He provided drawings and acquired necessary permits and dealt with inspectors. He took every precaution to limit damage to our property from the equipment needed to perform the work and took care to minimize the mess from the concrete pour. He also replaced fence railings that were removed and siding removed from house. He arrived for work as promised and worked long hours. He provided quality workers on site and both him and his workers remove debris and cleaned up the worksite. We have had an outstanding experience with Chris and his company and are thrilled with the outcome of our 21’ X 20’ covered porch and miscellaneous concrete slabs. We would again highly recommend Mac Services, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! It was a very pleasant and stress free experience.
