Christina Francis has a heart as big as the world and brings professionalism and expertise to the task of finding homes for rescued animals.
There are really no words for the incredible joy that our two beloved rescues have brought into our lives and we continue to stay in touch with Christine. We would never consider using any other rescue group. She is a wonderful example of someone who has dedicated her live to saving the lives of these precious animals that need forever homes. She is absolutely hands down the best!
Lucy/Stella came to us already spade (by the previous owner) and up to date with all of her shots and vaccinations. We were provided with her entire vet history, which was great. We could not be happier with the new addition to our family. It has only been two weeks and it is already hard to imagine life without Stella in our home! I would recommend that anyone looking to rescue (or not sure about rescuing) to check out Luv a Dog - you will not regret it!
As I understand it, Christina is at the Petco on North Michigan Road in Carmel every Saturday from 12:00-3:00 with dogs/puppies looking for their forever home. I recommend anyone considering adding a dog to their home to go and meet her - you will not regret it!
What I really loved about Christina was that it was pretty clear that she wanted to make sure that WE were a good fit for June, not just the other way around. She wasn't just trying to pawn a dog off on us. She wanted to ensure this was going to be the June's and quot;forever home.and quot; She looked around the house and the backyard, especially the fence, to make sure it was suitable for the lovable but energetic pup. With the glut of dogs without homes, it would easy and completely forgivable if rescue services didn't do this sort of inspection, but I'm glad that Christina did. It shows a level of concern for the dog that put me at peace that June received the best possible love and care prior to us adopting her.
She told us what the dog's foster parents had to say about her and also gave us a full medical history. Our current crate was too small for the 1-1/2 year old dog we were adopting, so she allowed us to borrow a bigger crate from her until we could find one ourselves.
Thanks to Christina, we now have an awesome play partner for our other dog!
If you choose to get a dog from Christina and Luv a Dog Rescue, you won't be disappointed!
