Lowe's Of Nw Indianapolis

Apart from the appliances, Lowe's sub-contractor - Black Diamond installed a new tiled walk-in shower, vanity, mirror, toilet and lighting in my master bath as well as new vanity, mirrors, lighting and toilet in two other baths.  Mark and his crew were very professional, punctual and the quality of their workmanship was excellent.  They stripped the old shower down to the wall studs and reinstalled new base floor, plumbing, insulation, waterproof boards.  They laid a brick pattern with the tile and hid the drain under a very slightly elevated section of the tile in the floor (a new concept).  I also ordered new marble countertops through Lowe's that was subcontractor through a local company for cutting and installation.  
Danielle, a marketing/design specialist with Lowe's,  coordinated the entire project and provided very helpful ideas for layout and selection of items.  Both Danielle and Mark were very responsive to questions and made the entire experience a very good one.

Purchased Big deal gift card for Lowe's Of Nw Indianapolis. Used it for Mothers day to buy flowers and a few other items.

I shop there often. They are conveniently located for me. I have to look so hard  for everything. They are higher priced than another big box store that I prefer. They are open when I need them to be.

I worked with Danielle in the kitchen design area. She couldn't have been nicer. I have been trying to get this project done for 3 years. Danielle was patient and gave me very accurate information when giving me an estimate. She explained the process and all the charges that would apply. The installers that came out to do the work were punctual and worked with me on scheduling a time. My original installation was due right after the blizzard and I had to postpone. The were very helpful With a new date. They took great care and were very proficient. When the technicians came to reconnect my plumbing and microwave, they were punctual and efficient. They were friendly and professional. I am very pleased with my experience. I will definitely use them again.

They coordinated the ordering and warranty process for the garage door opener as well as replace the motor. They immediately took ownership in the process and it was simple, professional and painless.

They were very professional. I called and made an appointment and they came out when they said they would and did measurements and called me back when they had things ready. The process of doing measurements took a couple of hours. They were pretty responsive. They answered all the questions I had. They were very knowledgeable. They are accountable and one can trust them.

They were comparable in price and they were responsive. Lowe's stands behind their work and I thought they did a good job.

The 2007 windows were to be installed in June and they misorded the shipment. They had to put of the installation till August. Still they were unable to properly order all of the correct screens, so I just ended up not going through with them due to the hassle of all the reordering. The windows were not properly installed and they had to come back out to fix them after I had a contractor inspect their work. The 2008 windows was a better experience with the installation. However, the billing was to be interest free 12 months but after 6 months they were started to charge me interest and late fees. It took the manager of the store, Mr. Craigie, several months to get it resolved.

The storm door was a Christmas present from my mom and she set up the installation as well. Within one week of her purchase, Lowe's called me to say that I would hear directly from the installer within 2 business days and I did. Lowe's continued to call to ensure the install had in fact been set up and even called the day after my appointment to make sure it went okay. I couldn't find the actual installer on Angie's List so I was a little nervous about how it would go, but the gentleman was very polite, showed up on time, cleaned up and made sure he answered any questions I had.

It went excellent. They were here for fourteen hours and got the job done in one day. I have two dogs and they worked around us wonderfully.

In general, it was very good. The installers nicked the door in one or two places. They came back and repaired the damage that had been done.

We shop at this Lowe's on a very regular basis. Employees are always friendly and willing to help. On our last trip we found a sink that was on clearance, along with a faucet. The sales associate who helped us climbed to the top of the shelves to find us the last one and marked the faucet down more since it was on clearance. We will continue to shop at this great store!

Great. My only disappointment came when they put the same ladder on sale two weeks later.

My sales rep worked with me the entire time and ordered it correctly. When they ordered it from the store they ordered the wrong swing. They brought it out with the wrong swing and the back screen door was the wrong size and the other back door was damaged. It wasn't my sales rep that did anything wrong but the person that ordered it wrong and then the fact they brought the wrong doors and they were damaged. This has been going on since April. I now have two new back doors and they're perfect but they had to come out three times to get it this way. My front doors are not in yet. They just called that the door is in and is finally perfect. This was ordered three times too, and every time it came in from the distributor it was damaged. They used a new distributor for the current doors that will be installed. They gave me a $250 gift certificate since this has been going on for so long and they had the door stained which is another $300-$400 charge. They gave me something comparable if not better than what I ordered. I feel they've done everything they could do to appease me.

The refrigerator didn't fit our kitchen and they were gracious about exchanging it. They let us keep it while the other fridge was being ordered and then we just switched it out. They didn't charge us a restocking fee either. I thought that was really nice. We would continue to use them in the future.

It was great. They gave me a time frame that they would be at my house and they were there in that time. They also gave me details on how to use my new water heater.

I purchased the doors in June, 2007. At time of purchase, I was told that they would be ready to install within 3 weeks. At the end of July, they called to install on August 9. August 9, the installers came and the entry doors were damaged. No one had checked them at Lowe's' on arrival. They had to be reordered. September 27 they came to install. The entry doors were installed. But the weather stripping was damaged and needed to be reordered. The storm doors were 1/2" too large- needed to be reordered. The end of October they came to install storm doors, but weather stripping had not been ordered. I spoke to Mitch, store manager several times. He put me in touch with Delisa, who I spoke with several times. They were willing to reimburse me the labor cost for storm door install at $243 (apprx). However, it is January and the weather stripping has still not been repaired not replaced. They are no longer returning phone my calls. I have two small holes- and air is leaking out/in.

Fast, professional, very helpful about proper maintenance, followed up about installation and warranty to see if we were pleased.
