Still waiting :( We are using Lowes for our patio door and anyone thinking of using them, may want to reconsider! We have been waiting 3 months now and still no door. The first 2 1/2 months we found out the sales person NEVER submitted the order. Even though I had contacted him at least 3 times asking what the hold up was. Now, after finally hearing from them Aug 1st to say someone should contact us by Aug 7th and still nothing, I called them again today Aug 13th. The nice lady who I spoke to this time, at least was sympathic and apologized. She called the manufactor. The manufactor says they are waiting for parts needed to make the door. My husband is using a wheel chair, it does not fit through our current door so that makes it hard to enjoy the patio we had put in last year. I wonder if they would have had the needed parts back in May had the sales person actully subbmitted the order? This was way to expensive to start with and now we are paying interest on it as well! If you are planning to have your patio door replaced, you may not want to go through Lowe's Home Improvement 🙁

We were told that Lowes could not only do the flooring, but would move our furniture and remove and reseat the toilet and sink in the bathroom after tiling. Sounds good right! The hardwood flooring and carpeting went well. The people who did that were good. However, you get what you pay for. The tiling was a DISASTER! Not only did the tiler install the tile incorrectly, he scratched our new hardwood flooring as well as left dried thinset on 4 sqft. of our deck. He also broke the water line to the toilet and flooded our entire basement because he didn't shut the water off and the basement now has to be redone. Note: we completely redid the basement 4 years ago so everything is relatively new. DO NOT USE LOWE'S AS A CONTRACTOR! They subcontracted the flooring to a company in Indianapolis, which then subcontracted to someone else. We had to have after hours emergency plumbing done to cap the pipe as we had no water. We had to have ServPro in to mitigate the water damage, which resulted in them removing all the laminate flooring removing drywall and installing large fans and a dehumidifier for 6 days. In addtion, to needing the entire basement redone. We have to have the HVAC ducting replaced because it was soaked with water, and the bathroom toilet piping redone and the fixtures reseated. The tiling contractor removed the toilet and sink, but didn't know how to replace them because he couldn't alter the plumbing to account for the increase in the floor height. The tiling done by the original contractor was done incorrectly (no spaces for grout between the tiles of adjacent sheets). The tile had to be completely ripped out and redone. Lowe's reimbursed us for the cost to reset the toilet and sink, but do not seem to want claim any responsibility for the damages despite the fact that WE PAID THEM and SIGNED AN AGREEMENT with them. They chose to subcontract this job and are making the contractors pay us for our insurance deductible. It was very difficult to get anyone to respond to our calls, either Lowe's or any of the contractors. We finally had to get our insurance company involved to facilitate a response. WE WILL NEVER USE THEM FOR INSTALLATION OF ANYTHING LIKE THIS AGAIN!

I would use them again. They have a number of products in stock and you can get them the same day. This was the benefit when we bought the fridge so we could take it home the same day and not have to order it.

Lowe's was very cavalier at first.  It was hard getting someone to pay attention, then when I finally did, they lacked expertise.  They made me make two trips to the store, which I could have done in one.  The installer was good.  Clean, polite and efficient.  The follow up from Lowe's was much better.  They called immediately after the installation to find out if I was satisfied.  Still waiting now on replacement of a part, and additional installation

Besides when I go for personal needs for home projects, I've also dealt with Lowe's management for donations as well. I needed several pieces of wood for a Scout ceremony and was provided them with no problem and much professionalism. I also needed to fix a scout shelter roof and was provided all the products (shingles, wood, nails, etc.) for that project as well. I love Lowe's!

They have a huge selection of countertops that range in prices. The salesman there was very nice and got us all fixed up. They do not do the installation but they referred us to the company they use. They did exactly what they were supposed to and kept following up to check on the status of the installation.

I arrived at Lowe's to purchase a washing machine minutes before they closed. The sales associate was helpful, did not rush me, and even arranged for a Sunday delivery. The delivery men arrived early, installed the new washing machine, and hauled away the old one for free. Great service! Great price for the appliance!

Their location is pretty good for us. Sometimes their customer service isn't as good as some of the other big box stores. They have pretty good stuff.

Lowe's phoned the day after door was purchased and advised that the contractor would contact us within 48 hours to set up time for installation. Contractor called within 3 hours and set up to install door the next day. He arrived promptly and cleaned up after installation was complete.

The experience went pretty well. It was a quick, and very efficient job. I would definitely recommend them.

Lowe's is convenient, I like their credit program and their selection in stores, and they are always punctual.

Everything went wonderful. Everything was in the package and they delivered it. Everything was as expected and advertised.

They did a very good job. I have used them several times in the past for several projects. There have been glitches a few times, though. A couple of years back they had installed some doors for me and hadn’t done it right. They had to reorder it, but I think that was reasonable. They hire different contractors to do the work for them.

the employees in Lowe's very friendly and will to help out with any questions I had about the products being purchased. the outside contractor that did the premeasure and install was also very professional and knowledgable about the products

very well, very timely. was a 2 day process as we have a small house and they were more than willing to work around this issue and doing half the house one day then came back the next day to finish

My fridge went out, so I picked out my new online and Maryanne set the whole thing up for me. I didn't even have to go into the store, I was able to do the entire transaction over the phone. Then they brought it out and installed it for me. I bougt my stove the same way. Maryanne was very helpful throughout the whole transaction. I will definitely deal with them again.

They professional. I am a big fan of Lowe's, they impressed me. They are are top of the line. They got there facts straight. They were on time. The job was neat and done.

Lowe's contracted with a fencing company to install the fence. The installers were on time and very efficient in installing the fence and gates. Lowe's had all the material needed for the contractor to do the job. The fence looks very good and it is excellent workmanship.

They were very helpful. Michelle, who did the initial ordering, really went out of her way to give us information and gave us some rebate pricing we did not know about. They were very neat about the installation and they came and completed the project when they said they would.

Worst service I have ever had. It took them over four months to finish a small kitchen remodel. I asked them to reposition a mis-aligned piece of crown molding and no word after more than a month. They don't return phone calls. They do subpar work. I guess they really don't care, because you pay them all the money up front. I spent a lot of money for a lot of headaches. If I had a lot more space here I would go through all the details. I would recommend calling real contractors to do this kind of work. I guess you live and learn.

I had made a mistake with the color of the carpet in one room; I didn't like the way it looked. I called them to see if there was anything they could do about it. The manager came out and they replaced the carpet in the one room that I was unhappy with. What impressed me the most was that their willingness to win me over as a customer, and their efforts. They were awesome! They were excellent in working and dealing with me and they stand behind their product. They treat me as a one on one customer. They made me feel like I was their only customer. This experience was a lot different than that of another competitor that I had used for other work; it was much better! I plan on doing all my business with them for any installation projects that I have.
