Eric (who has done excellent work for us in the past) dug nearly 2 feet down into gravel and soil around the tubes and discovered some tiny tree roots growing into the foundation around the tubes. He cut back tree roots, removed the sealer around the tubes, and thoroughly applied new sealer. It was a tough, dirty, hot job, and he was cheerful through the entire process.

I had a York air conditioner installed by Love Heating and Air in Aug of 2010. Every single summer I have had to have service done to the unit. I have under warranty had the inside coil replaced, the outside condenser replaced, and have paid every single year from 2011 to have the coolant charged. On the phone with them most recently I was told that York's are known for their leaks. I am now questioning if I was sold a junk product so that they could charge me service fees every year. Of course the service technician could not answer my question about if this was going to keep happening.

"Love Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. strives to excel in every aspect. However, it is out of out control when a product fails. We did install a new system for you in 2011, but we did not manufacture the system. The problems you have encountered has been threw product failure, not at the fault of an installer or technician error. We did have to replace the condenser coil in your outdoor unit due to a refrigerant leak in 2013. This was of course NO CHARGE to you. Then there was a lapse in service ( 5 years) from 2013 to 2018. In 2018, we received a call for the system not cooling. At this point we found a leak in your evaporator coil indoors. We replaced the coil under warranty only charging you $ 48.00. In June of 2019 you did call again with cooling issues. However, during our service call, you choose to refuse to allow Love Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. to fix it. You do have a warranty in effect on the equipment. If you decide later to allow us to repair the unit, we would be more then happy to continue our relationship."

The technician from Love Heating found that the inducer motor was damaged due to a bad secondary heat exchanger on our 14-year-old furnace. Replacement of the furnace was recommended, and that was done the following day. The technician who found the problem (Richie) and the technicians who installed the new furnace (Matt and Justin) were all pleasant, courteous professionals who worked diligently and explained procedures thoroughly. We have been customers of Love Heating for many, many years and are happy to recommend this company.

Came home on Tuesday night with furnace not providing heat. Outside temp. was +8 degrees. Called Love and a technician arrived at 8:45pm. Diagnosed a bad gas valve. Gave me the choice of replacing the expensive valve or the 17 year old furnace. I decided on the furnace. Jon Love contacted me the next day with a quote. They applied the cost of the service call to the price of the furnace. Friday morning (-8 degrees) Mick and Franco arrived and had the new furnace installed in 2 hours. Friendly, professional, punctual, despite the frigid conditions.

Brad said that he assigned the two best installers, Clint and Scott, and they got the job done efficiently and much quicker than expected. The original job was estimated to be a full day plus perhaps several hours more on the next day. Clint and Scott got it all done the first day and were very thorough in their work. Brad actually stopped by several times to check on the work, and I was very impressed by that. One of the items I purchased was a GPS air filter to help clean smoke fumes from my air space coming in from another condo beneath me. I have found that the air filter doesn't work as well at this as I had needed and wanted, but I still believe that it is helping to some degree with this, just not as thoroughly as needed. This is a testament to the amount of toxic fumes that navigate between floors where I live. I also needed an air filter that would remove mold spores and believe that the GPS will handle that fine. The A/C system purchased was 1.5 ton, 13 SEER American Standard (who manufactured the previous Trane system that lasted 22 yrs) with American Standard air handler and GPS air cleaner.
