very un professional work, unprofessional work ethics

They have done a lot of work for me, and they do excellent work. I have used them for about 20-30 years now, and would not hesitate to recommend them.

This took some time and they weren't very responsive to the changes that we were asking for. Then, we agreed to have them have a contractor remove a tree but did not receive a confirmed time before they showed up and cut it down. In the mean time, we had shopped around and found highly recommended services that were half the cost. Although they did honor the lower price quote for the tree removal, they were rude and unprofessional once we decided not to use them for further work.

We have been very pleased with the finished product and the support and service from Lemcke.  We have had a couple of problems with plants that have died and Lemcke has been amazing with their commitment to keeping us happy.  As an example, we lost a row of  box woods due to drainage issues and Lemcke returned excavated the area, improved drainage and replaced the bushes.  Highly recommend Lemcke they are easy to work with and stand behind their work.

The initial work went well however I had a weed problem in the decorative rock area in spite of the the barrier. I spoke with Gus and he sent workers out immediately to remedy the situation. I am very pleased and have had Lemcke do other work for me. I would recommend his company. Great service and very responsive. Great job!!!!!!!

Very pleased with the service. Gus Lemke responded promptly and gave us a new look without removing all of our existing trees and bushes.

Excellant outcome

We have used Gus Lempke for years and never been disappointed. The two men who came this year were excellent. They walked around the area with me first to make sure we had everything on the same page. They worked very hard for a long time on a hot day and did an excellent job. They cleaned up very nicely. Our yard and garden area was perfect for our neighborhood Garden Walk that weekend.

Even though I wasn't home when they came, they did as instructed.  I have used them for several years now, and have always been pleased with their work.  Last years' weather set them back, but that was not their fault.

Work was completed as requested and according to the proposal agreed on.

Gus and his crew did a great job replacing boxwoods in our landscape.  They reconfigured our bed, planted and mulched the shrubs and did so very neatly.  They were very pleasant and efficient.  We would highly recommend using Lemcke for any landscaping needs.  Definitely a Super Service company.

I reached out to Gus Lemcke in fall 2012 to ask him to help me remedy the situation of my raised paver patio, which was sinking. Initially I thought what it needed was to have concrete footings poured under the walls. I asked to have Lemcke Landscaping dissemble the walls so I could have that done. Gus came out to the house so we could look at it together and discuss the situation. He convinced me that a rebuild of the entire patio would be sufficient, and that his crew would take care of it free of charge when their other work was slow.
In December a crew from Lemcke came out, completely dissembled the raised paver patio, and rebuilt the patio with new blocks for the walls and a better foundation. They were professional, friendly, and quick?the whole thing took only a couple of days. The new raised patio looks great.

We used Lemcke Landscape last year for our backyard and it was a no brainer when we decided to change the look of the front of our house.  Gus designed a layout that would compliment what he had done in our backyard and make the flow from front to back.   We could not be happier with the result, their attention to detail and willingness to listen to their customer was top notch.  Kudos to Mike and crew for a job well done!  Maybe we need to look at the side yard next year?

I told them what I had in mind and they did the job perfectly.   It really looked nice.

Overall not well

Gus has an excellent design sense. He  reviewed all design elements until we were satsified with the plan and product. His work crew was professional and knowledgeable.  Overall a rewarding experience with a great result.
