They missed the delivery day by a day...the tables they brought were damaged, they claimed they had no others so we just got a refund on the tables....took over a month to get the refund. The the threading on the couch seams started coming undone, we had an extended warranty so we called the store, got put on hold twice and then hung up on us. Called back...they told us we had to call Guardian Warranty to file a claim...so we call them, they emailed a claim form, we have to print it and fill it out and then US mail it back to them...then they will decide if they are coming out. So we are waiting. I would not recommend the extended warranty.

I have been enjoying the mattress (and added the adjustable base as well) for 6 weeks. Initially, I was concerned about what seemed to me to be a "disconnect" between what I was told about the mattress and what the deliverymen said about the installation. Those issues have been addressed. For example, as a customer, I was not aware nor did I know to ask what hardware is included with the bed base; a headboard bracket was not which necessitated a separate order.

This was probably my best mattress shopping experience. Mo was my salesperson at Kittle's Mattress Maxx in Castleton. He had me try their electronic mattress fitter (my word, not his), where you complete some questions on a computer, then lie on the bed and it checks pressure points, then indicates what type of mattress might be best for you. He had me try a couple of high-end mattresses that matched the criteria, then asked my price point. From there we were down to some 8 or 10 choices, with 4 of them being very good fits for me. He has years of experience running/working at a sleep study center, so he looked at my position on each bed to see which gave me better alignment for a good night's sleep.
We had a unique situation, having inherited an antique hand carved wood bed that was in between two sizes (4" too narrow for California King, 4" too short for King), so he helped me with a decision there. In addition, the bed has a very low profile, where installing a boxspring and today's tall mattresses would mean that over a foot of the wood carving would be covered by the mattress. Unfortunately, I'd not considered that in advance and had not taken measurements to help me. I tested the mattresses, selected and purchased one, then went home and looked at the bed. Mo told me to measure when I got home and let him know if I needed to make changes. 
When I saw that there would be a problem, I emailed Mo the photos and measurements. He looked at other mattresses and found some that were lower profile, and suggested that I come in and test them, and purchase a "bunky board" instead of a boxspring, as it only adds 2" as opposed to 5.5" for a low profile boxspring and 9" for a regular boxspring. I went in two days later and he directed me to some lower profile mattresses. He gave me all the time I needed to try them out and to make my decision, making sure to be nearby but not intrusive. I ended up purchasing a different mattress, which fortunately saved me about $400 over my previous purchase. There was no problem with the refund of the difference.
I would highly recommend going to Mo at Kittle's Mattress Maxx in Castleton.

Kittles delivered a damaged mechanical chair. They dropped it off and confirmed it was broken when they dropped it off. Delivery team said hey could perform a same day replacement. We were good with that plan. We finally called and they advised that they couldn't deliver a replacement for a couple days. They left a handicap lady with a broken chair that they knew was broken. After follow up calls to understand what occurred the kittles customer service lead never returned our calls. Why did they deliver a broken chair in the first place? We were advised via telephone that they verify the functionality of all mechanical and electric features prior to loading on a truck. Why did they leave it behind when it was obviously damaged? Why did they give us a new delivery time/date that they couldn't honor? Why haven't they returned my calls when Ali. Wanted to do was to understand their process and why it failed on so many levels. Disappointed in their customer service and overall leadership. I'm still waiting for my return call from kittles.

When all of our furniture had to be made, the guy who had sold it to us never turned in the order because he had some questions on the fabric so we were sitting there waiting. I called them couple of days after when I was supposed to receive it, he said it wasn't turned in. They said that it was a bad mattress that we purchased so it should be a a week or ten days turn around time but it turn out to be two months. Imagine the frustration of waiting and you have to follow through. They made it better by discounting something else that we bought.

I loved that the salesman did not pressure me to get the most expensive option available. He showed me a range of options and was very up front about how we could save money and still get a good quality product. We ended up going for an expensive adjustable mattress only because we could. The delivery was scheduled quickly and they were prompt.

The dresser is fine. Unfortunately, in the course of carrying the dresser to the room, the workmen seriously scratched our hardwood floor in several places. The most maddening part of the experience is that the lead workman, who was surely aware of the damage they had caused, asked me to sign a document saying that they did no harm.
The customer service people were very nice. They offered to refund the delivery fee, and pay the cost of repair. That puts us back to the position we were in before the scratches, but doesn't capture the inconvenience and annoyance this has caused us. Everything would have been much simpler if the workmen has simply pointed out the damage and said and quot;don't worry, we'll take care of it,and quot; instead of hoping that no one would notice.

In December
my husband and I went to Kittles Design Center to get assistance in buying new
furniture. The senior designer made an
appointment to come to our home and access the area we wanted decorated. She arrived as scheduled and took
measurements of the room; she called a couple of days later and we scheduled
and appointment to meet her in the store to see what she had planned for the
room. We liked what she had and ordered
it. The furniture was delivered on
January 10th : a couch, two
swivel chairs, two accent pillows, an end table, a coffee table and a sofa
table. The couch order was to have
included two matching pillows which did not arrive with the delivery. The designer never came to see how the
furniture looked nor did she call us to see if we were satisfied. On January 24th I left a voice message for the designer
inquiring about the pillows, leaving my home telephone number. On January 28th my husband left her a voice message and left
his cell number. On February 4th
I again left a voice message and left my cell number. She had three working telephone numbers and
did not have the courtesy to call us. On February 6th at 10:11 a.m.
I called the store and asked for the general manager; she was coming in later
in the day. I asked for the manager of
the design center and she was out for several days. The designer who sold us the furniture was
out with another customer. I talked to a
general floor manager (I was angry and rude to him for which I apologize). He was
cool, professional, listened to all my ranting and said he would check on our
order. At approximately 2 p.m. he called
and said he had found what the issue was with the order and took care of it.

I was looking around all these different furniture stores and that's where I ended up finding what I wanted. I guess, the cost of the furniture was $600 and then it cost a lot to have it delivered. It was on sale. It was a really good sale. The sales lady gave me the better coupon to get more off. The quality is perfect. Even the delivery man was so polite. They brought it in, set it up and moved the old piece out of the way. They didn't set up everything. It's an entertainment console. So they just set it like I wanted it. They were not allowed to disconnect or anything but they did what they could and they did it willingly and cheerfully.

The initial experience with Kittles was fine, of course isnt it always that way when a company is trying to sell their products. When purchasing a sofa and mattress and box spring I explained that I needed delivery before the Thanksgiving Holiday. I was told that it was not a problem. I ordered these items in September. I was told that delivery would be the first week of November. I was also told that I would be recieving phone calls updating me on the status of my order [ never happened ]. I called the company twice and both times was told that my order would not be in untill the first week of November . On October 28th ,, the salesman called me and said that the fabric for the accent pillows had been discontinued. I was also informed that this would hold up the whole order , for weeks ! I was shocked that a manufacturer was just informing Kittles a month after an order had been placed ! The only offer of any help or explanation was they could give me a and quot;loaner and quot; sofa , of course i would be charged for it , and them reimbursed ! Needless to say , I cancelled the whole order . Kittles told me how sorry they were , but never asked how they could make it better , never . I do not know what really happened with my order , who dropped the ball , but I do know I will never do business with them again .

Our salesman, John Stutman, was extremely professional. He walked us through the purchase answering all of our questions. He gave us his cell phone number before we left the store and called us to follow-up after delivery. I recommend seeking John out when you walk into the store. The delivery men were just as good. We have narrow doors making maneuvering tough. They made sure not to damage doorways or floors. The loveseat was very well wrapped in plastic. The men unwrapped it and made sure it was perfect before they left.

The salesman took plenty of time with us and made sure we picked out the best bed in our price range. The day it was due to be delivered there was a snow storm so delivery was delayed but that was understandable. The day they arrived they were late but it was ok. They were still responsive and answered phone calls from me even though it was a Saturday.

In less than one year this mattress began to sag to the point that my husband could not sleep in it any longer. He was waking up with sore back, hands tingling and overall soreness. When contacting the Customer Service we were told to fill out a 4 page review regarding our mattress. At that point it was quite evident that they had experienced this same complaint several times over the years. My main complaint, since I realize they did not manufacture the mattress, is that they do not stand behind the products that they sell. I have been a customer of Kittles for over 30 years and feel they have really failed tremendously when it comes to personalized service.

I had purchased a piece of furniture at the New Years Day sale. When it was delivered, it did not match what I had ordered. I was told that for additional money I could re-order for what I originally requested.

I wrote a review on Angie's List expressing my frustration with Kittle's treatment of my transaction.

Shortly after submitting my review, the manager of the store called me at home and assurred me that my initial order would be completed as requested and at no additional charge.

I am very satisfied with the product, price, and quality of the furniture I found at Kittles. Now I am pleased with how my problem was resolved too.

Kittles does not have poor customer service as I was originally led to believe. Shop with them with confidence.
