KIRLES JEWELERS

I took in two rings to be checked out and have one resized. Kirles had made one of them for me about 10 years earlier but it was now too big. They took the one I thought needed the prongs checked and asked me to leave it for the jeweler to check out and put a ring guard on the one which was too big as a temporary fix until we could get a correct size from the one I was concerned about the prongs.Finding the right size was more complicated than normal because my fingers were puffy. I will be taking the one which needs resizing back soon. They cleaned and checked the other at no charge and said it was fine. The prongs were ok, I guess I just couldn't tell because it needed cleaning. They could have charged me for a repair I did not really need but we're completely ethical. Another jewlery store, a much bigger one, had cracked a ruby in that ring when I had taken it to be resized and didn't call and tell me about it until I went in to pick it up a week after they had said it would be done.

I worked with Jennie to find a watch for my husband for Fathers' Day. She showed me items in stock and then pulled out the catalog when I asked for something simpler. I picked out the watch that I wanted and she ordered it. Unfortunately, there was some mix-up with the watch company rep and my watch was sent to the wrong store. This resulted in a delay of over a week. Jennie was in touch with me several times and adjusted the final a price down a bit to compensate for the late delivery. My husband is very pleased with the watch and I felt like we were treated well throughout the process. I have taken my own watch in several times to have the battery replaced. I am always treated with courtesy and respect. On one occasion some repairs were needed when a discount store damaged the watch as a battery was replaced. I will now take all my watches to Kirles for batteries and needed repairs. A friend from out-of-town was very impressed by the sensitive and caring nature of assistance given by two Kirles employees when she took her mother's jewelry in for an appraisal. My friend even called from the airport on her way home to tell me how much she appreciated the way the Kirles staff handled the jewelry.

Another jeweler had messed up my husband s ring, and they were able to fix his, as well as working on mine. They did a great job, and I would absolutely use them again in the future. I would recommend them to anybody.

I am very pleased with their work. My rings have not looked this good in many years.

LATER IN THE EVENING AFTER I HAD PICKED UP THE RING, I NOTICED ONE OF THE SEED PEARLS WAS MISSING ALREADY. I WENT BACK TO KIRLES THE NEXT DAY, EXPLAINED WHAT HAD HAPPENED AND THEY REPLACED IT AT NO CHARGE. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK AND WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE HAVING ANTIQUE PIECES OF JEWELRY OR UNUSUAL ITEMS NEEDING REPAIR OR RESTORATION.

I HAVE USED THEM 3 TIMES RECENTLY. EXTREMELY PROMPT. THEY HAVE DONE ALL OF MY REPAIRS WHILE I WAITED. THEY ARE VERY PLEASANT AND ACCOMMODATING. IF I WERE WANTING TO PURCHASE SOME REALLY NICE, EXPENSIVE JEWELRY, THEY WOULD BE THE ONES I WOULD GO TO.
