Kenny Goodnight

Kenny was on time and completed the job as promised. We are very pleased with the result and would use Kenny again. We recommend him and would be happy to share our experience.

Kenny gave us a very reasonable estimate and stuck to it. The install took a day and a half, but he is very particular about his work and the end result shows.  Took great care in not making (or leaving) a mess after he was done.  The tile we selected wasn't the easiest to work with, but he was a professional and did a fabulous job.

Kenny was quick to respond to a message I left on his mobile, called me back within an hour. Discussed what was needed and as I had all the details (dimensions etc), he quoted me over the phone vs having to set up an appointment. I called a few others but Kenny had availability and was the most prompt to respond so chose him. 
He started work the following Thursday and he and his nephew removed all the old backsplash. This unfortunately meant 90% of the drywall had to be replaced which he also did. He tool great care even with the drywall considering it was just going to be tiled over, taping and mudding seams. 
Towards the end of the day they began placing the tile and got about 35% of the way. Next day they finished the project. Everything looks great. 
Kenny lays tarps anywhere he will be working and covers all surfaces to prevent damage. I am really pleased to have used his services.

If you need tile work done, do yourself a favor and hire Kenny.  Very professional, punctual,  and does great work.  We hired him to install glass subway tile we provided.  He provided the grout because he prefers to use a professional grade.  He finished the project in one day, and it looks AMAZING.  My wife and I are thrilled.   I hired him based on other AL reviews without shopping, and we were not disappointed.  I won't shop on the next tile project either. Kenny is now "our tile guy".  I will recommend him every chance I get. Thanks Kenny!

Everything went very smoothly.

Job went very well including a Sunday appearance to finish out.  Kenny created an appealing floor solution.  We chose a marble tile that needed some careful arrangement due to natural variation. He nailed it..Can't say enough good about this guy.  And he did very well arranging the threshold and resetting toilet and wash basin too.  All great. Happy. Happy. Happy.

All projects were completed and the quality of work was outstanding. I trust that Kenny will stand by his work.

Our toilet was not properly sealed and as a result of a slow leak, the tile in the toilet room was cracking and the floor below it sinking and rotting.  We knew it needed replaced and repaired.  We have an unfinished basement below, thankfully.  The rest of our master bath had carpet throughout (gross!), and although we liked the warmth of carpet, we wanted it replaced with tile.  We looked into heated floor systems and wanted to go that route if cost was reasonable. 
Kenny and his assistant, Josh, were very easy to work with from start to finish.  Kenny communicated well and was on the job as expected for a period of six days.  He provided a detailed estimate and explained the heated floor system well.  The tile floor is flawless and transformed the look of our master bath.  
I was very happy that Kenny could do all of the above work and that I didn't have to get separate contractors.  Kenny works with Louisville Tile, and I was able to find tile for under $3 a square foot (with his discount) that we liked.  The whole process was so easy, we should have done it sooner.  We love with the heated floor and can only imagine how happy we will be next winter!  It's one of those luxuries that once you have, it will be severely missed if you ever have to do without.
We will definitely use Kenny for any future tile projects.  He's honest, dependable, and the quality of his work is excellent.  

Kenny has an eye for detail that we appreciate so much!   He does things right, and he really helped us out when our other contractor did a poor quality work on things and abandoned the job!  We really had a great experience with Kenny, and plan to use him again in the future!

Kenny and his assistant installed a backsplash in our kitchen. Kenny showed me how different grout colors would look with the tile before he put it up and had good ideas on placement of the pencil side pieces for the trim. They did a great job, showed up on time and got the job done pretty quick.

He also moved over a floor vent in our kitchen and offered great design ideas for our bathrooms. He recommended Louisville Tile and passed his professional discount on to us. Kenny did very nice work and explained in detail exactly what he was going to do and how long that it would take. He also provided indepth updates throughout the job. He had some great ideas and did a great job in rebuild our shower.

Kenny is a master craftsman and true artist.  He takes his time, but the finished product is well worth the delay.  He is imaginative but he never forgets about function.  Kenny took some decorative red onyx tiles and created a beautiful design that looks terrific with the existing countertop.  He also used those same red tiles in the custom shower and flooring which ties the entire look together.  I love it!

Kenny is by far the best time installer I have ever had the pleasure of hiring. He does excellent work and is personable and professional. I would not consider hiring anyone else. Since this floor repair in 2009, we have hired Kenny to install a new fireplace wall in our family room and it is perfect. He installed almost 200 sq. ft. of stacked stone for us and it is indeed the focal point of the room.

Ken showed up on time with all the necessary equipment. He went to work and did an outstanding job in a timely manner. He laid out the marble tile and professionally shaped the edges and corners to finish the project to our great satisfaction. Additionally he cut some acrylic to my specifications for a table we designed for the fountain.

Ken was very easy to work with, according to my wife, and was extremely professional. He pays attention to detail and, as i was not there, I am told he is a friendly guy who likes to talk.

We would definitely use him for future tile projects!

Kenny was detail oriented, friendly and dedicated. He did a great job pouring concrete and laying heated cables.

It was an excellent experience. Kenny worked around our schedule, even working only Sunday while we were out of town to minimize disruption to our home. He has a great eye for detail and we were very satisfied with the final result. He took care of everything, from picking up all tile and supplies, replacing trim, hauling away trash, and moving all the furniture in and out of the rooms. The total price I listed includes all the tile, grout, subflooring, underlayment, sealant, adhesive. ($2100). Kenny does all the work with the help of one assistant, no subcontractors. He communicated well from first phone call to end of job about when he would start, when he would be at the house, how long it would take, etc.

Kenny was very professional and skilled. He showed up when he said he would to evaluate and estimate the job and returned to do the job on the date scheduled. He kept us informed of the process, progress and time line; everything followed the schedule and fell into place. The resulting work was very good. I would definitely use and recommend Kenny in the future.
