He did a perfect job. I wouldn?t hesitate to call him again. He has a large crew that can do things quickly, they cleaned up well, and I would highly recommend them.

There were a few scheduling errors at first, but, in the end, everything was just fine.

They do quality work at a reasonable price.

So far, he has done an estimate and a follow-up to see where we stood on the job. Everything has been fine so far. I've been satisfied with the interaction so far.

Terrible. The guy was awful. The patio was lopsided, uneven and unusable. I had to have it torn out. I just wasted that money, I might as well have taken it out back and just burned it. I would never use them again. I would recommend to everybody: do not use these guys because they're awful.

We check Angie's List, BBB, and actually spoke with other people he had done work for. Everything was good, paid him a deposit and scheduled an appointment. He did not come for weeks after we had paid half down. He had told us he would be doing most of the work, but it ended up that 7 or 8 different individuals did the work. He explained he had family and friends that needed the hours, but this is not what we were told. He was down on the ground most of the time, not seeing the work clearly. My husband had to get up on the roof to continually check their work, finding mistakes that needed to be repaired. We heard every excuse in the book while they were working through September. In September we ended up firing them and my husband had to finish the work, including purchasing the last of the materials.

The brick veneer was c grade. They did not know how to end a flemish bond wall and ended up with 1 inch joints, looks real bad. The patio pavers were set in mortar, and was an F grade. They had to rip up a third of the bricks. Where the rows of bricks joined in the middle, (they worked from each side to the middle) they had to cut a row of bricks so they would fit. Very poor planning, they had to tear it out (only upon my insistence) and re-space the rows properly. One area was to get a herringbone pattern, but when it was executed it was not straight and it veered to the right. At this point I had enough and sent Kenny on his way. I had to rip it out and I will redo it myself. The concrete patio was previously poured as a base for the bricks and was sloped for drainage. The slope was apparently not a consideration of Kenny's, as now water pools in several spots. I pointed out many bricks that were uneven and a hazard to people tripping on them and asked him to replace them but he never did. I will have to do that myself also. I had provided the materials for the job. I had masonry sand for the wall and for the patio grouting but had cement sand for the bedding mortar. Kenny used all the masonry sand for the bedding and then the coarse concrete sand for the grout. I don't know if he knows the difference. The grout looks very bad. When dealing with Kenny about these problems he commented he had been doing masonry for 20 some years. He may have, but only very poor masonry if my job is a reflection of the work he has done. I think Kenny and his crew could do a simple masonry job, but beyond a simple running bond wall with extruded common brick.... I will never use KWALLITY BRICK MASONRY again.

They had good prices but most of the work was done poorly and they were not punctual. They did not show up on time for their appointment.

Kenny's response time was amazing, with both the initial estimate and completion of the job. His team completed with job in less than a day and it was less than a week from the time I first contacted him until the job was done. The workers were all polite and friendly. I would definitely use Kwallity Brick Masonry again in the future.

Kenny Begley's company, Kwallity Bricks Masonry, did some other work on a bathroom remodel under a contractor and we asked him for a proposal for the brick work on our garage and deck; he gave us a proposal right away and did the work later that week.

The company could receive A's across the board if they improved their responsiveness to their customers. Once a company makes a commitment to its customers, they must follow-up. The quality of the work is minimized if the responsiveness and punctuality does not meet the customers' expectations. If I could give an "F" for overall service, I would. I should not have to keep calling the company for them to complete the service they promised to me.

The workers were very nice and communicated my options well. They gave good suggestions for future repairs. They even gave me an Angie's List discount. I would use them again.

Kenny was great! He came over on his lunch break on Friday, gave us a quote in writing on the spot (unlike two other companies) and offered to do the work the next day. Since we needed to do the work in order to sell our home we appreciated the timely response. He and his crew showed up the next day as promised and did the work swiftly and efficiently and then cleaned up the debris. He matched the brick so that you only notice the new bricks if you know what you're looking for. He came to us as a referral from a friend, where he did the brick on their new room addition (an old house). It also looks fantastic. Kenny definitely knows what he's doing. I'm very pleased with the work, and very very pleased with his price.

I would suggest that other members call him.

We paid him the first half of the total expense 5 weeks ago, since then he has come out one day to work, and even then they have just torn up our driveway. We have never been able to get a hold of him over the phone. Our driveway has been torn out, and there is a dumpster full of the old asphalt that has been there for a week. We are starting to worry that he is not coming back.

Service was prompt, and additionally as a courtesy, Kenny also repaired some masonry cracks in a front flower box at no charge.

Looks a lot better than I thought it would.

It was very good and they showed up on time and were quick.

Kenny Begley of Kwallity Brick Masonry promptly returned my call when I called to get an estimate. He showed up promptly at appointed time and did a thorough investigation of my chimneys. He followed up promptly with a complete written estimate. His estimate was right in line with 3 of 4 other estimates I received. He even followed up later to ask for the job. I did not hire this company because another estimate promised a little more work for the same money. However, judging by the professionalism I received from him I would feel comfortable hiring him in the future.

This was a very positive experience. Kenny came the day I called him and went out of his way to come up after dinner from the south side to my north side home. He gave me the printed estimate on-the-spot and when I called back to schedule, he had the scaffold up that afternoon and the work was completed the next day. Kenny was great to work with and made this one project that was easy. Compared to other estimates, his price was very reasonable.

His service was excellent!! I thought that they did exactly what they said they would do and while they were there, I realized I needed some minimal work done, and they did it for me with no questions! I thought his assessment of what needed to be done were right on! The bid was also excellent.

Communication was minimal and not to my satisfaction. I didn't know what was going on until I called or they just showed up. One employee in particular, gave the women in my home an uneasy feeling. Other than that, we are very pleased with the work that was done.

HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK, BUT VERY UNHAPPY WITH RESPONSIVENESS AND PUNCTUALITY. FOR TWO WEEKS, KENNY TOLD US "WE'RE COMING THE NEXT DAY TO START ON YOUR JOB," AND THE NEXT DAY WOULD ARRIVE, BUT NO KENNY. I KNOW THAT THEY WERE TOTALLY OVER-EXTENDED, AND I THINK THE OWNER HAD THE GUYS RUNNING FROM JOB SITE TO JOB SITE, TRYING TO GET A LITTLE DONE ON EACH SITE EACH DAY TO KEEP HOMEOWNERS HAPPY, BUT NEVER REALLY ACCOMPLISHING ANYTHING MUCH ON ANY ONE JOB. THEY DID A VERY POOR JOB MANAGING OUR EXPECTATIONS. IF THEY HAD SIMPLY TOLD US THAT THEY WERE VERY OVER-BOOKED AND COULDN'T GET TO US FOR TWO WEEKS, WE WOULD HAVE BEEN DISAPPOINTED, BUT AT LEAST WE WOULD HAVE HAD REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB PROGRESS. INSTEAD, THEY KEPT TELLING US THEY WERE COMING AND NOT KEEPING THEIR PROMISES. ULTIMATELY, THEY FINISHED THE JOB; WE'RE VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK, OTHER THAN NOT DOING A GOOD JOB CLEANING UP. WE FINALLY CLEANED UP THE MORTAR OURSELVES.
