JUST DRAINS

They did an excellent job cleaning the drain, but didn't offer to help clean up the mess they made from having me run water, which just backed up into the basement. Luckily, I still had the wet vac out and could clean it up quickly.

The first time I called them to come out, they were fairly punctual. They came out that evening but charged an emergency fee since it was in the evening. I had the sink already pulled back for them so they didn't have to unhook it, but when they were putting it back up, they broke a piece of the pipe. I was unaware of this until one of my workers noticed it. He was there when it happened and saw it and the plumber said that he thought he could fix it, but he couldn't.

After they left, we did some dishes in the sink and water completely filled up the sink and spilled over the floor. We called them back and they said they couldnt get to us until the next day. The next day, they were a no call no show. 2 days later we called them back and they weren't even aware of the work order. The manager apologgized and promised they'd send someone out- they never did. My mother even called them and was told that they'd get someone out there and they still didn't send anyone out. I eventually had to hire another contractor to fix this. I paid $197.00 for a repair that didn't even work.

They were awful and the gentleman was rude and walked into the area to fix with no covers on his shoes. He did not come prepared and asked if I had a plunger, I told him I was not going to let him use my plunger. He had a bad attitude and it took several trip for him to fix the problem and they charged me way to much money for the job.

Called just after noon, they called when on their way over, cleaned my drain and left by 2:30 pm . Mike did a great job, augured out the drain with an electric snake, checked out everything to make sure no other problems, left my kitchen clean and I am happy.

Horrible experience. The technician got the cable stuck in the roots four times. In addition, they also snapped the cable in basket three times. They told us the line needs a camera to locate so that a replacement can take place. We found out later that THEY had the equipment to run the camera but didn't. They left our basement in a SHAMBLES.........50x worse than it was before....black grime all over. They had a shop vac on them and never used it. The very least they could have done was to CLEAN UP their mess. BTW: the technician sat in his van for at least an hour waiting on the supervisor.

Horrible experience. The foul-mouthed technician that came out dragged raw sewage all over my brand new carpet after he was offered a tarp to protect my new flooring. He literally said, "I'm not worried about the carpet, I'll buy it." Not joking. He made a disgusting mess, alongside a raising level of raw sewage in my basement. I asked him to call his supervisor to finish what he started. He said he'd have him come out the next day. I had to call and remind them to send his boss out. I complained about this technician when he came over. He looked disgusted when I told him about his employee's unprofessional and disrespectful conduct and he apologized. At least that. He was very polite, and said he was going to have a lil talk with this guy. He actually gave my contact info to the company owner, Leon. Leon called me a week later, and proceeded to raise his voice to me, talk over to me and berated me for complaining. He said his tech, alongside myself, was not perfect, and that his tech was having a bad day. He never apologized, he just said he'd reimburse me for the cost of a carpet cleaning rental from a grocery store. Then, when taking my receipt to the business, the ditz receptionist had no idea what I was talking about, after he said that he left a memo to reimburse me like he said he would. She tried to have a check mailed to me. Didn't trust that offer, and made them give me cash. Owner actually had the gall to tell me that I'd get a 10% discount the next time I call to patron their establishment. I waited until I hung up with him to heartily laugh. I've told all my friends, family, employees and neighbors to steer clear of this joke of a business. Not one bit acceptable.

Leon is the owner. I use to use them. However, outside of other issues, they felt the need to overcharge me by 71 dollars. When I brought it up to the owner and the lady that answered the phone. They had no response or somehow blamed it on me. Customer service is non existent at this dump. After several phone calls, and 3 emails. That have chosen to steal my 71 dollars. As an owner of multiple rental properties in the city, that would of used them for all of my drain cleaning. I will no longer use them. The owner has traded stealing 71 dollars of my money, VS providing a good service and good customer service, where they would of gotten a few thousand dollars in the next 6 months to a year. At the very least that type of decision making, shows the company is unstable and guided by incompetence. Stay away

When I used the sink, the drain had not been unclogged. The technician was very nice. Then I called them back, hoping to get a hold of the technician. I spoke with owner who became very belligerent. He was cussing me out. I told him that he didn't need to speak with me that way, to which he responded "I'll talk to you any ****ing way I want to." I wouldn't recommend anybody use them.

These guys worked until they got the job done. The owner was right there. There was no complaining, No extra charges and NO BS! How many time does that happen. These guys have work integrity like I've never seen before.

On April 22nd, this company came out to our new house to unclog the lines in the master bathroom. They claim that it was cleared sufficiently. Unfortunately, on May 13th I was again having problems on the same line. When I called back, they said that their "30-day warranty" only covered tree roots. So I had a reputable company, who is A rated and wins repeated Super Service Awards, come out and properly clear the line. They told me that there is no way that anything was done prior, due to them video scoping the line and discovering that grout was stuck down there from the previous owner's remodel of the bathroom. When I disputed the charges with my bank, I received a call from Leon stating that he will sue me if I do not pay for a service that was obviously not rendered. He did not want to have a conversation about it, and thinks that this was, as he said, one day past the warranty. If he actually makes good on taking me to Small Claims Court as he has threatened, he will find that reputable plumbers will be testifying on my behalf, along with their service records to show that they received calls about this issue WITHIN their 30-day warranty period.

The service was prompt and very good. The technician was very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. I would recommend them.

We had sewage backing up from the main drain in the basement.  The drain line had been snaked before we called Just Drains, but that did not solve the problem.  Chris from Just Drains arrived on time.  He was very professional and knowledgeable.  After just a few questions and one flush, he went outside to open manholes and check the city sewage line.  That was the problem.  The city sewage line was blocked.  Chris provided the phone number to call and report the problem.  The city was here within the hour and the problem was solved (except for the clean-up).  If we have to call Just Drains again, we will definitely ask for Chris.

They sent a young man named Chris out. He said the problem was in the piping and not the toilet. We had just put in a new toilet a few weeks back so I knew he was being honest with us. He found some roots down in the pipes and cleaned them out. He didn?t leave a mess. He put the toilet back without messing the seal up and tightened it down. He did a great job. He stuck by what he said, provided us with information, and was honest. He also advised us how to kill the roots.

My apartment was flooding due to a backup in the main sewer. The apartment complex called Just Drains to fix it. They were out right away and he fixed the problem and was super nice and made me feel much better about a very stressful situation. I don't know if he cleaned up or if the maintenance crew that was also there did, but the issue was solved and you couldn't tell there'd been an issue at all. Thanks!!

They did what they said, and they fixed the problem, didn't charge me extra money, or dream up problems that didn't exist, and they cleaned up behind themselves. They were there within a couple of hours on a weekday.

Responded the next day (from an evening call to schedule). Chris was professional and friendly. He went right to work and cleaned everything up when the work was done. All in all, we were very pleased with the service and happy to be able to use our kitchen again right away!

I never ever complain about businesses, but my experience at Just Drains has inspired me to write this post. Their lack of communications will without a doubt impact your final invoice. Their management is rude and unprofessional beyond belief. You may think that you will be saving some money but it is not worth it. Plus they are just as expensive as anyone else. Avoid this company if you value service and respect.

They were really friendly. It's not a very fun job but they had a really good attitude. They have a very good sense of humor. They came out on a weekend.

I had a clogged kitchen drain, past the P trap. The man arrived on time, snaked the drain pipe. He did a great job. This company was much cheaper than Benjamin Franklin plumbers, which snaked the pipes for me in 2009 and it was over $200. My plumber couldn't come out so he recommended Just Drains.  When you call for an appointment they ask if you have a basement. I didn't so the estimate was between $137 and $144 for 90 minutes of time.

A technician from Just Drains came out Friday evening and told me that there was frozen water in the outgoing line.  He instructed me to leave my kitchen cabinets open and run a space heater into the underneath of the sink (which I did) and he would come back on Saturday.  No one came back.  And no one contacted me.  It's now Sunday evening and the pipes under my sink are still off, so I can not run the water.  I called Just Drains and spoke with the owner.  He said he had no idea of the issue and that nothing had been communicated.  He said they WOULD NOT send anyone else out until my apartment complex paid them.  He told me that they "do not work for free!" and that if I have a frozen pipe that it's "not their problem."
As an owner, this man was absolutely rude!  He more or less told me that he did not care if I had running water or not.  He just complained on the phone to me and continued to try and argue and talk over me.  He didn't even introduce himself or tell me his name.  Nor did he apologize for the fact that his employee left my apartment without reassembling the pipes under the sink.
