Description of Work: The last time they did work on my home they did a tear-off and put a new roof on. They also replaced a leaking skylight; it has never had a problem since.

I asked them to give me an estimate for removing and replacing the skylights, but, they did not recommend replacing it and only gave me the estimate for eliminating it. So, I guess I am disappointed that they did not give me quotes that I asked for.

The roof was leaking, and they sent someone out right away to make a quick repair until they could complete the job. They replaced the bad area and it matches the rest of the roof perfectly.

+ 1 moreThey were great to work with. Did the job in a timely manner and it appears they did it well. The job was finished in November and withstood the snow, ice and rain we've had this winter with no issues. JP Lahr and Sons was recommended by a friend. We then verified their service record through Angie's List.
Description of Work: They inspected the roof and chimney on a new home purchase. Advised that shingles were still good, probably for another 10 years. Recommended a cap over the flue pipe on the chimney. We were also given an estimate to replace 30-40 shingles missing from a detached garage. JP Lahr & Sons installed the cap on the chimney and at our request, replaced the missing shingles and covered the entire front side of the roof with new shingles so the street side shingles would match.

+ -1 moreThey did a really good job. It was a flat roof so we had some special request. We had some leaks in one corner but it had always done that so they came back and immediately repaired. They are very prompt when you call them, and they come right back out if there are any problems.

Description of Work: Had flashing installed under an overhang that was missing and the replaced missing caulk around around a large bathroom window. One or both of these problem was the cause a leak in a laundry room.
