John Peters Roofing

After being sorely disappointed with some contractors over the course of our lifetime, we were relieved and pleasantly surprised with John Peters and his construction crews. We recently had a new roof, gutters and windows installed. All three respective crews were good at their craft, took pride in their work, were respectful, showed up when they said they were going to and finished in a timely manner. We will not recommend this company to anyone. We were treated as if our job unimportant. We found another company to do the job and never had any problems with them.

Very pleasant to work with. I requested on additional adjustment after the initial work was done and this was completed within a few weeks at no additional cost. I know the work was effective because I can see the evidence of increased flow. I felt like my project was being tracked to ensure satisfaction. I would gladly recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

He did fine. The job went as advertised. I am completely satisfied, but it would have been nice if it could have gone a little faster.

My son had used them before and had been very happy with their work and recommended them to me. They came to my house and gave me an estimate and explained everything they were going to do. It was hail damage so I had to give estimate to insurance agent to get approved to begin the work. When given the OK we had to wait our turn because John was very busy because of the hail storm. When they started it was very quick . I think they got it all done in a day but it might have taken 2 days I have a bad memory. All I know is is they were here they did the work very well and they were gone. Everything all cleaned up.

I did not have a warm fuzzy feeling with the contractor. The work was done and done correctly, on time and within the estimate. I have no complaints.

It was superior service. The man who installed for the company was an old fashion of jack of all trades. If I had a question he would stop and answer it. He worked from the time he got here until the time he left, worked straight through without a lunch. I want to make a very clear point that this company is so rare...they go above and beyond what you would expect. I've recommended them to several people.

They arrived and provided a quote the next morning as promised. The quote was complete. They followed up three times to see if I had questions or had made a decision. I gave the business to another contractor whose price was slightly lower.

John Peter's himself was very easy to deal with. He was very flexible and stuck to his estimate. I found John Peter's Roofing and Guttering online. I checked out the website and checked some of the reviews on Angie's List. When I called, they were able to come out quickly to give me an estimate and then I was also able to schedule the work within a day. The work was done quickly and no mess was left behind. John Peter's and his employee were very courteous and conscientious.

They did a very nice job. They came back and did a lot of detail work. Anything that we asked them to look at or touch up they did willingly. They actually put up some additional siding that was not included in the estimate just to make it look nice. They did the job well and they were clean. We were very happy with them. We used them for roofing many years ago, and were so happy we used them again. We had no complaints, and their price was the most reasonable for the amount of work they did.

After Realtor's recommendation, I had John Peters provide estimate on roof replacement for house I was considering buying. Ending up buying house after appropriate price adjustment for roof. John's estimate was competitive and he was able to quickly do job with break in weather. Foreman and 3 workers showed up on time and completed the job in one day. It's not that big a house, but another company took two days on a similarly sized house on same block. Looks to be excellent workmanship and cleanup. A friendly, professional transaction. Very satisfied.

He did a great job. They responded to my phone call and came out to check it. They gave me a quote of around $400. They were out at their next available opening, which was three or four days later. They were very fast, very efficient and very honest. The price seemed reasonable and it was the only quote I got.

They came out immediately and did an excellent job. Their price was reasonable.

They quickly provided an estimate and completed the job. They do fabulous work. Would recommend extremely highly to others.

I called them to get an estimate on a gutter repair/replacement over two weeks ago. A few days passed and I didn't hear anything. I called again and again I explained my situation. Someone called me the next day and I explained the situation to them. He said they have been very busy and he would be out tomorrow. A few more days passed and I still hadn't heard anything. I called yet again and again explained the whole situation. He said they had been very busy but should have been out by now. He was going to have someone out there that day. It has been three more days and I still have not heard a word. I am searching for a new company.

We had two leaks in the roof. One was from a previous repair done by another company. The other company had failed to patch nail holes in the roof from a tarp. John Peters Roofing located and repaired the holes and replaced shingles as necessary. We also had a leak around the flashing on our chimney. Turns out the builder had put copper flashing over another type of metal flashing and this had caused a chemical reaction between the two metals. There were actually holes in the flashing. John Peters Roofing replaced all the flashing around our chimney. We had also lost some shingles due to high winds and Peters Roofing replaced these shingles. All three of these roofing issues were completely resolved in a professional and timely manner. From my first experience calling the company, to getting the estimate, to having the work completed, I was impressed by John Peters Roofing. They offer quality work. I would call them for any roofing needs. If we ever need to completely replace our roof, I will have them do the job because I've been so happy with the repairs they have done for us.

John Peters Roofing did a great job installing my new roof. It looks great! John Peters was very prompt with providing a work estimate for my insurance company and after his company won the bid his employees started the work when he said they would. The work took more than a week to do due to the rainy May and June in Indiana, but John insisted they not start on a given day if there was a threat of rain so that there was no risk of getting the wood and paper under the shingles wet. All the employees that were on site doing the work were courteous and friendly. They did a great job of cleaning up after each day?s work as I found very few pieces of old shingle and nails/staples in the yard and flower beds. They also hauled away some additional trash I had when they took away all the old shingles. John also came on site a couple of times to make sure that I was satisfied with the work being done. I?d recommend John Peters Roofing to anyone needing roof repair and I?ll use them again if the need arises.

We were very happy with the completed work. At our first appointment, Mr. Peters spent a great deal of time and patience explaining and addressing all of our questions and concerns. He left his sample books with us so we would not feel pressured in making a decision. The work was scheduled within two weeks from the time the work order was received, even though we had some severe storms - which I know put them behind schedule - as well as our causing a few days delay due to other commitments. I would be remiss if I did not compliment Roy Robinson and his crew on the work they did with the utmost professionalism, courtesy and friendliness. They completed the work within one day and did a wonderful clean-up job. It is obvious that this company places a high value on "customer service" as well as quality work and materials. Our experience in this instance truly reflects the benefits of using local contractors with such stellar reputations.

Roy and his crew arrived and began working and discovered I had lots of plywood I needed replaced. Roy and his crew were very professional and very polite. They completed my whole roof with new shingles and I had a gutter replaced also. John Peter's Roofing is an excellent company to hire. I hope to have them do more work for me in the near future!

While they are are on the list, I had a recomendation from a coworker who is verry picky. Figured if he was pleased I would be. And am

He first asked how old the roof was. I advised him that the roof was 15 years old in which he responded that they only generally last about 20 years and would most likely need to be replaced. He said that he would be out Friday or Saturday to give the estimate and that he would call before he came. It has been a week now and I have not heard from him since. I felt like since I mentioned wanting repair over a new roof that he may not be interested in my request.

They did a wonderful job. They also helped refer us to someone for our painting needs. The gutters peeled in the spring and came out and touched up everything, we had a leak on the chimney and they came out immediately and fixed it. They take care of it with no hassle and no dragging their feet. I have an enormous roof and they got a late start and they were still done in one day and they cleaned up everything you couldn't even tell they'd been there.

I contacted them and they made an inspection and estimate. I agreed to the terms. They performed the roofing work in one day and replaced the gutters a week later.

They were considerate of my outdoor plants. They respected that I did not want my plants trampled. This company was responsive and returned my call right away. They were flexible and worked with my schedule. The clean up was fair.

He had a wonderful crew with him and were very professional. They were never loud and John's crew has been with him for 15 years. They completed the roofing job with in 2 days.
