The service went very well. They did the work due to storm damage. They took the initiative and solved an issue with out insurance company.

Provided a timely estimate, brought samples of roofing to select from to match existing roofing, and delayed beginning at our request as we did not want roof replaced in extreme heat. As soon as heat broke called and scheduled the work. Completed timely.

They are local and have been in the business for a long time. Usually when I call them I talk directly to the owner. He is very responsive and reliable. He cares about the quality of the company

They were excellent. They were very efficient and precise. They did the job very well. They were prompt about showing up when they were scheduled to. I would recommend them. The guy that did the work were fantastic, it was their manager that messed things up.

Called for an estimate on 2 properties for hail damage, the owner passed me off to a gentleman, who returned my call some days later and told me I had no damage on either property. My insurance company came out soon after with a roofer and came up with an estimate to repair of $ 18,000. I am sure he never looked at my roofs.

We noticed recently water was pouring down the pole, electrical meter, and into our house when it was raining. We had someone come out to repair it very quickly because we were worried our home was going to catch on fire. There was a bracket that needed to be on pole to connect it to our roof. When John Peters Roofing reroofed our house, they did not put the bracket there where it needed to be. Mr. Peters claims they are not liable because they would not have forgotten something like that. We have had multiple expenses. We also found that the gutters now are not holding up. My husband had to replace several of the screws in the gutters. At the beginning, we were very happy with the project.

It went great. I had just had $9,000 worth of new landscaping installed and was concerned about it being damaged by the roofing activity. John's crew did a fabulous job of avoiding my new plants, as well as not marring my gutters, which had been painted last fall. The roofers (5-6 of them) arrived early one Thursday morning, along with a trash trailer and another trailer with all the roofing supplies and tools and parked them in my driveway. I had parked our two vehicles on the street out of the way. Our house is not huge, but it has a lot of roof area, and it is steep, with many cut outs, angles, and flashing.. I also had them install ridge vents to replace the round roof vents. They also painted the vents pipes black. They worked Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from around 7 a.m. until nearly 10 p.m.every day, in 90 plus degree heat. They still had about 6 hours of work left, so they returned on Sunday and worked until they were finished. They did a great job and were meticulous picking up trash and debris from the yard and driveway every day.. The last day they ran a magnet around to pick up any scattered nails, and swept then used a blower to clean the walks, drive and deck.

I was pleased with them and I would use them again.

They did a very quick job, I was expecting that it will take them about a day and half to two day jobs at least to finish the job but have it done in one day. There was no problem whatsoever. There were about 5 to six guys who came over and they didn't mess around and they cleaned up after they're done, and John was very good, very responsive.

I was very pleased with the work that was done. Of the three companies I called to get estimates, he was the only one who actually got up on my roof to get a closer look at the gutters and fascia installed on the second level of the house. When the day of installation came, I left for work with the old gutters installed and came home in the afternoon to see that the new ones had been installed. They cleaned up all of the old materials and billed me a few days later. It was all very simple on my part and the gutters look/work great.

I have been trying to reach John Peters for about 3 weeks now for a roofing estimate. I have left message after message and no one returns calls. When I did, finally, get ahold of John, he stated that he was sorry and that he would come out today to give our estimate. He never showed or called. He did our siding 2-3 years ago and did a great job but now that we need him again and he isn't responding, we are moving on.

After being visited by two other general contractors (Wallace Construction Group and Genesis Restoration) we decided to go with Peters roofing because we didn't feel as if they pressured us into repairs that we really didn't need or to pad the bill. Our estimator was named Justin Smith and was very courteous and willing to allow us to explain what we wanted done rather than trying to tell us what needed done. He quoted me a price at the time of his inspection rather than having to go back to his office to figure things up. He seemed very knowledgable and was extremely proficient in his work. Our work was completed in three different stages in what I believed to be a very timely manner. They required 40% of the cost at time of estimate and once our payment cleared the roofing crew arrived about a week later. I needed to make a change to my initial work order and select a different shingle color and they were able to handle that with no difficulty. The roofing crew finished their work that included tear down and removal of my old shingles and replaced with new ones the same day and took approximately 8 hours to complete the work. The cleanup work was very well done, I found no nails or trash in either yard or driveway. The siding took awhile longer as they experienced difficulty in finding a match to our existing siding since we were only getting one side of our home replaced, that took about three weeks after the roof repairs had been completed. However again the crew was very polite and did very good work. If I had to point out any area in which they could improve it would be with their communication with their customers, as well as within the company. They called for final payment before the exterior painting portion of the work order had been completed. However once I pointed out to them that this hadn't been done yet they sent someone out the next day to complete the work. Overall I was very pleased with the quality of the work they performed (the roof looks better than the original did when the house was first built) and with the politeness of everyone I talked with and met in the company. Aside from having minor difficulties in getting a hold of someone to discuss the work I can offer no complaints about Peters Roofing. I can definitely recommend them over the contractors mentioned at the beginning of this review, and they will be the first people I call for any future home repair/improvements.

They did a pretty good job installing the roof. There was some damages that occured to the roof later on. When they came out to repair the roof they created more damages. The damage that they created on their second visit was due to them throwing old materials off our roof. We had chipped paint on our railings, a broken bird bath, splitting in the wood siding, and a leak in the garage ceiling. When they came out again they spilled paint all over our garage, they caulked over the wood siding and left other damages untouched. We have had to go with another company to get all the damages repaired.

Called Jon Peters roofing. I left message on answering machine to call me back. He returned the call, said he could come out SAME DAY around 5pm. Never showed up, never called back to say he was late, cancelling or rescheduling. He called a week later, and wanted to set up a time come out, said that he had left a message for me on my phone (didn't have any from him.) I chose to go with a different contractor who was prompt and punctual in responding to requests for estimates. I got his name off of Angies list, where it has an A rating... I was disappointed

Excellent. From the first call to the last bit of the installation, we experienced a high level of professionalism, quality and promptness.

The job went off without a hitch. The crews started early in the morning and worked tirelessly through the day. Mr. Peters was on site early to make sure all was going well and double check if we had any further questions or concerns. At days end, the crews did a great job cleaning up. Overall, we are quite pleased with the outcome and all the advise we received. Bottom-line, we have a great new roof and a better gutter system than before!

They had great reviews on Angie's List, but didn't bother with us. We went with D&B Guttering who was kind and installed the gutters in 1/2 hour. Easy money.

41 feet of continuous gutter was $250. Installed the same day the estimate was made. Great service.

He was very quick. It was about three days from the time we called him until the work was completed. It was very quick and they did a good job.

I've used their services before (around 20 years ago, for roofing). The process went smoothly. I called him again to have my windows installed and replaced. I received two other estimates, and his was the most reasonable. While he was there, he inspected the roofing work for me and realized there had been some storm damage done. He ended up working with my insurance company to get my roof replaced at no charge. I'm happy with their services and I would highly recommend this service to others (and already have).

The technician was courteous and professional: in and out in a matter of hours. We talked about the project ahead of time and he performed the work while I was traveling. I was pleased that when I returned, the project was completed just as promised.

Everything went well. They were very professional, did exactly what they promised, and did good work.

They did a good job. They cleaned up, and finished on time.

Functionally, they did a good job, but he had to come back as he needed to mount it better. It sticks out away from the building which is not aesthetically pleasing, but he says it's the best way to do it and he may or may not be right.
