Plus, the owner and his dog (who was roaming the lobby) were nice and friendly. FYI: This is NOT your typical jewelry store. It's a second-hand store, a metalsmithing shop, and a custom jeweler, in an unlikely location on east Washington St.

Took watch to several places to see if my watch could be fixed , the quotes were in the $800 range to fix my watch . Took it to Jewelry Doctor on a recommendation of a friend . They said they could fix it no problem , I was skeptical to say the least. Had the watch for 2 weeks said it was done went in to pick it up ,was not working correctly . They said they would get it right . Went back a week later , watch is working fine got glass in the back put back in correctly , really surprised with the out come and the price ... Will take more watches here in the future .

He ended up making them with a different kind of blue stone than requested. The stone was not class ring size either and he spelled coach wrong on the coaches rings. The metal is all dented from where he held them in the vice and there are scuff marks from where they were engraved. When I first picked up the rings a stone was even missing out of one of them. After returning them to him, I was supposed to pick them up last friday when he said they would be finished and didn't get them until Saturday. this is after I had him sign a document stating they would be fixed to an acceptable standard and would be ready on that Friday at 6pm. When we had first placed the order they were supposed to be ready on November 20th in time for a team party. He said he wouldn't have an issue finishing them by that time but they were not ready. He gave us a bunch of excuses for why they were not ready. We set another time for pick up, November 28th, and they still were not ready and he had another excuse. I demanded my money back after he returned them to us but he will not give it back. He said to take him to court. He ripped off 16 little boys, the coaches and the community that came together to help with funding.

It went really well as detailed above. They also custom make rings, which looked beautiful. This is a craftpersons repair shop, and not a high end jewelry sales location. They are next to Red Wing shoes, in ther own building, which looks like a converted gas station. I am very pleased that I was referred to them
