It went very well. The project manager, Matt, took the time to walk our home and listen to what we wanted done. He was a good communicator and enthusiastic about helping us. There were several crews that came out to do the work, both led by Sam, who was friendly and knowledgeable, knew how to keep the project moving forward. The final group that came out after the drywalling was done to finish the job consisted of Sam,Donovan, Phil, and Teasia-- my wife and I call them the Dream Team-- they really knew their stuff, and were a pleasure to have in our home! We highly recommend Jefferson Electric!

For us, the Indianapolis crew definitely did not provide the “relationship, integrity, nor excellence” they proclaim on their website. No one called me when the job was finally completed to follow up. No one called to let me know when they would be arriving. Yes, I had an 8am appointment but a simple phone call or text would have made a big difference especially when you’re coming to my home. Later in the day 2 guys randomly showed back up again because they forgot to do something. Again, no phone call, they just showed up. I was invoiced before the job was finished. (The project manager did tell me not to pay what was due until the job is complete but due dates remained the same) My panel looks like it was labeled by a third grade student and if I had of known it was going to be completed in that manner I would’ve done it myself. Now I have to go back and fix it. It was very kind of my project manager to include wiring up my dishwasher. However, the junction box was placed right next to my hot water line which could easily leak into the box. (Why not ask me where I want it? Do you also install lights and not ask where they’re going to go?) Granted, I am not an electrician by any means but to me with this junction box not being waterproof or placed away from my water source it’s an accident waiting to happen. Again, something I have to fix for the safety of my family. At least it’s to code per the owner. There’s dust all over the outside of my house where the new meter was placed. Is it commonplace for the customer to have to clean up after a job when it’s in the contract stating they’ll take care of clean up? A can of Great Stuff was left right outside my back door. Again, for me to clean up. Easy for me to do, but that’s not the point. All these details make me question the quality and integrity of the rest of of the job. For a $4600 job, standards of excellence should be higher. They came out to my house twice. Once to do the job and a second time to tie some things up. The owner did offer to come out and personally address my concerns but it’s apparent, based on my experience, that attention to detail, communication, customer service and high quality work are not in their training and at this point I don’t want them back out to my house. They did send us 2, $50 gift cards as an apology for my disappointment. I requested a partial refund of $500 so I could hire someone who was more attentive to detail and that request was denied. In the end I’m going to agree to disagree with the owner. If you hire this company to do work I hope you receive a better experience than we did.

Our experience in working with Jefferson Electric has been nothing less than A+ on all counts. My wife & I discovered a number of problems with the electrical system in a home we bought a few months ago and on a recommendation from another contractor I contacted them to do the necessary work; from the first phone call thru the completion of the work we were totally pleased with their service and expertise in handling and correcting the various electrical issues we had. The serviceman that was sent out on two occasions, Ryan Staley, was on-time in each instance, quick to begin working, fully competent in the work he performed, and his workmanship was excellent in every aspect; he was very courteous and professional in how he conducted himself, conscious of being careful inside our home, quick to point out what we didn't need but also forthright making suggestions about the best item or approach needed in a given situation. I couldn't be more pleased with a company and they have my highest recommendation.

We chose Jefferson Electric to provide our Solar needs. From start to finish everything went as planned (except for some weather delays, not their fault) and we were kept well informed throughout the process. Matt Beauchamp made as many visits as needed to answer all our questions. Matt was great in explaining everything to expect from start to finish. We had met with other companies, but did not receive the amount of attention that Matt provided. Thanks Matt! We chose to go with a 15.2kW system as to generate all our electrical needs on an annual basis. We also went with Panasonic solar panels and SolarEdge Inverters because of warranty and quality of product. The installers are the best group of people anyone could ask for. They were all very polite and took what ever time needed to answer all our questions throughout the installation process. They were very respectful of our time and property. They made sure everything was cleaned up before they left for the day. I saw no smoking, heard no swearing and never saw / heard any inappropriate activity while they were at our home. I could not have ask for a better group of people to work with. I would highly recommend Jefferson Electric for any electrical / solar work you may need.

Perfect! They were right on time for both the estimate and the work, fully explained the process, got a very detailed estimate, and did a great job day-of. The work was done on-time, on-budget, and they completely cleaned everything up. We'll definitely use them for future electrical work!

Jefferson was able to respond quickly to my request for an estimate based on a home inspection report. Doug made sure I knew what was covered in the estimate and included more and less expensive options that met my needs. The electrician who did the work was Matt, and he was awesome! I was not there in person so he completed all work based on the inspection report and communicated with me several times throughout the job to give me updates. Matt sent me a detailed invoice AND another detailed email confirming that the work had been done so that my realtor could send the details to the buyer! Fantastic service on short notice, and they completed the work in my limited time frame!  Thanks guys!

It was great. They were recommended to us by a friend. They did a great job. I'd give them A for everything.

Joel responded immediately to my telephone inquiry and met with me within 2 days at my home.

He pointed out all that needed to be done to bring my box up to code. He showed me on the

exterior, pipes and equipment that needed to be replaced. I had not been aware that exterior

work was needed. Joel patientlyexplained everything to me and gave me an estimate which I

found to be affordable and fair.

Within 3 days Max arrived to do the work--removing the old box

, replacing it with a new box, replacing the exterior pipe and housing. The men were always

prompt, professional and friendly. Max was required to replace plaster that had broken away

when the old box was removed. He did a great job of cleaning up after the job and it was

completed in the time I expected. I really enjoyed doing business with them and will always

call them first when I need any electrical work done.

The price was fair. I called him and he was either having a very bad day. Yes, I did have a ton of stuff up in the attic. Once he got up there, I thought I was accommodating him. He did not get it all finished the first day. He had to bring the helper to run a wire down a wall to replace an outlet that had blown out.
He had thrown a box that had a Christmas angel in it, it was not ceramic. It was a tall plastic piece, anyway, the feet were broken. He had no reason to throw the stuff. The price was okay. The helper was a very nice young man. I have had electricians before to do work. The second day, everything went okay. There is a single electrical wire sticking out. I don't know what it is. I am no dummy. I have a healthy respect for electricity. All I know is my power works again. I don't think I will ever call them back to use them again.He had left up in the attic a electrical box with the cover up. I knew they were coming back, so I didn't touch anything.

I was the Listing Broker on this home. I called Jefferson Electric and asked them to call my client, take a look at the work that needed to be done and submit a bid for the work needed on the inspection report. They called my client right away and went out to the home when my clients requested. Their bid was below the other contractors I had called and my clients were very pleased with their prompt response, professionalism and workmanship. When we are dealing with inspection issues a prompt response is crucial. My clients were extremely satisfied and told me to make sure to recommend them to others. I will definitely be using them again!

The experience with them was great. They were easy to contact and showed up on time. They did exactly what they said they would do. The workers had both personality and brains. When the job was over, everything was cleaned up. I would highly recommend them.
