Both the doctor and the office staff were friendly and engaging.  They took the best interest of their customer to heart and made sure I got the best value for my money, which is especially important with the cost of contacts!

The eyeglasses were unusable from the start.  I had to tilt my head way back in order to see close up to the point that I could not use a computer.  Mid range vision was blurry.  Distance vision was very good.  I took the  eyeglasses to my doctor and their computer determined that the O.D. axis was off 10 degrees, the O.S. axis was off 5 degrees and the right eye P.D. was off 2 degrees.  Penney's insisted that the glasses were made according to the prescription, but they also did not know what any of these measurements meant.  They wrote down my doctor's measurements as being off by 10%, 5% and 2%, not knowing what degrees meant.  I finally got them to ship the glasses back to their lab where they remained for about 2 months.  When I got them back  the technician could not even tell me if they had done any work to them.  They seemed moderately better and then the technician manipulated the nose pad to make them ride higher on my nose.  That helped with close-up vision, but I still cannot use them without problems.  They remain in my drawer.  I give up.

I was never contacted about the glasses being completed and later found out they had entered my phone number wrong. I called 12/02/09 and was informed the glasses were ready. Went to the store and found 1 pair was completely wrong and one was correct. Later found out they had entered the prescription for the second pair (readers) wrong. They re-ordered and again they never called. I called on 12/15/09 to find out they had the second pair. Went to the store and upon trying them on, determined that they were still not right. Again, after many excuses, they re-ordered. Finally on 12/22/09, I was called and again went to the store. This time, they seemed right but by this point, I was done with them and their excuses. As it turned out, the second pair wasn't right either. Another optometry shop looked at my prescription for the readers and said they had done their math wrong. So, $211 later and 4 trips amounting to over 100 miles of travel, I have one workable pair of glasses. I complained to Penny's and the response was a ridulous offer of a $25 Penney's gift card. I have cancelled my account with them and will ever deal with them again for anything.

The waiting was terrible as they are always booked solid around the holidays and run quite late. But once we were in the photo area, they did a great job. Though they don't have much time, they always seem to be able to get the kids to smile and look at the camera at least a few times. So we have great final pictures. Again the selection process is crazy because there are so many people around, but the results were again good.

I can't believe the level of service I was given since I had purchased them five years ago. The installer I spoke with tried to help me get the blinds down over the phone but then realized it would be more involved than that. I appreciate the kindness.

Judy Foot was the designer who did a beautiful job. She spent a lot of time with me. Other providers came out but they were not a thorough as Judy. Very impressed with the suggestions she gave me.

I would have liked for them to try to take a few more pictures even though our kids were starting to lose their patience. We only ended up with one picture of the two of them that was worth purchasing. I also wish they had better props. They don't have a lot to pick from for the 1 year old age group, especially if there are two of them. However, we did get some good pictures and like the quality for the price.

VERY CONFUSING. I TOOK MY WATCH IN FOR A NEW CRYSTAL AND BATTERY, WAS TOLD IT REQUIRED SENDING OFF-SITE FOR THE WORK AND IT SHOULD BE BACK IN 8 WEEKS. AFTER 10 WEEKS, I CALLED AND WAS TOLD THAT THE WATCH HAD BEEN SENT BACK EIGHT WEEKS PRIOR, AND WOULD REQUIRE REPAIR TOTALING OVER $100. I WENT TO THE STORE TO RETRIEVE MY WATCH AND IT NOW HAD A CRACKED CRYSTAL. THE MANAGER AND I HAD A DISCUSSION, AND I FINALLY TOLD THEM TO JUST REPLACE THE BATTERY AND CRYSTAL. THAT IS ALL I WANTED DONE. IT WAS OK IF THE WATCH WOULD NOT WORK, BUT IT HAD BEEN FINE PRIOR TO THE BATTERY RUNNING OUT. THE WATCH WAS RE-SENT OUT AND I CALLED AFTER EIGHT WEEKS. WHEN I PICKED UP THE WATCH, IT WAS WORKING AND HAD A NEW CRYSTAL AND THEY WOULD NOT CHARGE ME FOR THE SERVICE.

VICKY, THE DESIGNER, WAS WONDERFUL. AS SOON AS SHE WALKED IN MY HOUSE, SHE LOOKED AROUND AT WHAT WAS ALREADY IN THE ROOMS TO GET A FEEL FOR WHAT STYLES WOULD BE APPROPRIATE. SHE THEN PULLED OUT A COUPLE SWATCHES THAT SHE THOUGHT WOULD LOOK GOOD, AND I INSTANTLY LOVED THEM. WE WENT AHEAD AND LOOKED THROUGH OTHER SWATCHES TO BE SURE, BUT I ENDED UP SELECTING THE FIRST ONES SHE'D SHOWN ME. I HAD WANTED SHEERS AND DRAPES TO COVER THE PATIO DOOR, BUT SHE POINTED OUT TO ME THAT SO MANY LAYERS WOULD TAKE UP A LOT OF SPACE IN MY LIMITED DINING AREA. VICKY SUGGESTED DOUBLE CELLULAR BLINDS, WHICH WOULD INSULATE JUST AS WELL OR BETTER. SHE TOLD ME THAT INSTALLATION WOULD OCCUR IN 9 WEEKS, BUT IT WAS ACTUALLY MORE LIKE 6 WEEKS, WHICH WAS A NICE SURPRISE. THE INSTALLERS WERE CLEAN AND COURTEOUS. WHEN I THOUGHT ONE CORNICE LOOKED SLIGHTLY CROOKED, THEY GOODNATUREDLY REMEASURED AN ADJUSTED IT TO MY SATISFACTION. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK, AND I LOVE THE WAY THE WINDOW TREATMENTS COMPLETE MY ROOM.

ORIGINALLY, ORDERED THE CLOTH BLIND, BUT CHANGED THE ORDER TO THE METAL BLINDS, WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE LESS EXPENSIVE. THEY LOOK NICE AND REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN KEEPING OUT THE SUN/HEAT.
