Well Larry is a very nice gentleman However I am confused about my order. I wanted 4 window shade for my living room and dinning room like the ones I have in my bedrooms. We held up a sample and matched the bedroom ones. They are an off white or cream colored shade. However the shades Larry installed are gold and at night they are a very dark gold. I do not understand how we received this color of shade. The cost of the 4 shades was over $1000.00

"During the selection process, we looked at several options in the "daytime light" and the "nighttime light". She chose Biscuit, even though it was a little darker than the shades in her bedroom, because it held it's tone better when the light came through it and looked good with her draperies. At the time of install, she was totally pleased. I adjusted the shades to the 1/16th of an inch under her watchful eye. She checked them from every angle and thought they looked great. Last Thursday she sent me a message with concerns about the "nighttime" color. I called her immediately and scheduled to meet with her on Monday to find a solution. Then, she posted a negative report on Angie's List and indicated that she would not work with me in the future. The shades turned out great and were exactly as ordered. The problem with color is not her fault nor is it my fault. It is just one of those things that has to be resolved and it is my job to figure it out even if it means I may need to "eat" the job to make her happy. I have advised her that I will issue 100% credit on the shades as soon as she has had a chance to order replacements that match the bedroom. I have sent her a list of competitors who specialize in the brand that is in the bedroom. This is the first time in 37 years that I have referred a customer to the competition to fix a problem that I could probably do better and more economically than anyone else. But she is entitled to work with someone that she has confidence in. I hope it works out!"

Larry at Indy Design is fabulous! I would hire him again and again! There are probably lots of good companies that do shade and blind work, but there are none better than Larry! Five star for sure!

Larry responded immediately to my call. He was very helpful in making suggestions and directing me toward something he thought I might like. Once the blinds were ordered, it only took two weeks and Larry was back to install them. He did an excellent job, and they look so good. He was very attentive to details, professional, and courteous. I am extremely pleased and would definitely recommend this company to others.

Indy Decor is top notch! I have worked with Larry (owner) now at three homes. He has installed blinds and shades for us at the various homes over the past 25 years. I would not use anyone else. He is professional, punctual, offers great products at a reasonable price and provides excellent service. He does a great job making you aware of your options, but never pressures you into a particular purchase. He is honest and does great work. I would highly recommend Indy Decor!!

Larry IS Indy Decor. He does it all from start to finish, including installation. I'm always happy when the owner is the person who does the work. Just seems to work so much better that way. Larry is always punctual, always does what he says he will do and does it well. Offered different grades of product but never pressured us to choose one over the other. We couldn't be happier with the product, price and service!

We are so happy with our new shades! From start to finish, Larry did an amazing job. On his first visit to give us an estimate, he even noticed that one of our current shades was coming out of the wall and offered to fix it on the spot at no charge--which he did. He gave us recommendations for each room that we never would have thought of--like remote control shades on our porch which are so much easier to operate. He arrived on time, exactly when he said and installed the shades within our time frame. We will definitely call Larry at Indy Decor for all future shades needs.

Everything was fine and went smoothly. I don't really know for sure how to evaluate price because I did not get other estimates due to his great reviews and my desire to get it done... not what I normally recommend, but what I did this time.

We are absolutely thrilled with the results! They did a marvelous job! The installation on two of the windows was very tricky because they had to build an exterior frame from which the shutters would hang. Their carpentry is great, and the shutters are exactly what we hoped for.

Wonderful experience working with Larry, the owner of Indy Decor. Larry was very professional and extremely helpful working with me to find the right window coverings for my home. After choosing the Hunter Douglas products, Larry ordered them the same day and the entire project was completed 8 days after our initial meeting!! The installation went as smooth as silk. Larry has been doing this a long time which was apparent as I observed him preparing the install. He completed the entire 7 window project with remote control in about 2 1/2 hrs. Great experience.

Larry is great to work with. He offered good choices for both windows we needed treatments for. We were hoping to repair an accordion shade but it was not fixable. Indy Decor, Larry replaced it with a similar product. It's a good color match, works beautifully and was a reasonable price.
