Indiana Alarm

I would definitely recommend Indiana Alarm. Pam, who works in the office, is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I had a very positive experience with Bob, who came out to give me an estimate and from Guy, who was the installer. Again, all were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. All of the appointments were on time. Also, the cost of the monthly monitoring service is very reasonable, as was the cost to switch out the cellular unit.

Absolutely WONDERFUL!!! Dustin, and Hunter arrived at the time stated and continually worked (and thoroughly cleaned up each area) AND then programmed my TV, computer and cellphone! Both young men were very polite and courteous. Even the cost of all the equipment they installed (and the hours they were here) I felt, was VERY reasonable! The company's security advisor Bob Oliver and office secretary Pam, were also very friendly and helpful!! Bottom line, I would definitely hire this company again!!!

Was re-schedule 2 times just before appointment time, service call technician was late, over charged for service time didn’t explain paperwork for monitoring or service calls, original installer didn’t go over details for system, wasn’t made aware of travel time for service calls or hourly rate. Was charged $100 for travel time and $80 per hour. Hourly cost is charged from technicians truck GPS and not the time work actually started. Original documents were not correct had to have them re-written. When we called about the over charges on invoice the owner was arrogant and rude toward us when we were trying to ask questions and then informed us that they record all phone calls when someone communicates with their office without telling the customers. WE ARE SENIOR CITIZENS so if you use this company BE SURE you READ the contract in full word for word, because they try to rush customers into signing the agreement quickly. The receptionist tried to discourage us from using some of the features originally.

Very pleased with their products , service and prompt response to questions

I recently worked with Indiana Alarm to transfer monitoring of our existing alarm system, as our prior company stopped serving alarm systems. Josh was great at providing me all the information I needed to make an informed decision on possible updates I could also make to my system. He was very timely via email, and quoted pricing with full transparency. When I needed the conversion to happen, they did it within a day, and Brody, their technician was great. He explained everything very thoroughly, performed the install professionally and was very respectful to our home. Just started working with this company, but first impressions have been awesome.

I was very happy with the service I received. The install prices were a bit higher than the big name companies, but the monthly monitoring rate was much less. The team at Indiana Alarm was easy to work with and explained all the features very well. I am happy to support a local business and would recommend them to others!

Very prompt, willing to explain what they were doing and how the system worked. They used existing components from previous system where they could and replaced a minimum of equipment.

Installation went well and when we had a door sensor show "bypassed" a couple weeks later they came right out to correct it.

Josh provided a quote with several options and worked with us to design a system that met our needs and within our budget. Install technician was prompt, worked efficiently and did not leave until I was comfortable operating the new system.

Josh the owner was very professional, knows alarm monitoring business very well. Has several options to choose from. No forcing into a annual contract. Can pay monthly, but chose to pay the annual fee so I don't have to remember monthly to send payment. Love the fact I can do everything with an application on my phone. So easy to use, yet it includes everything I need. He came highly recommended from my "Nextdoor Neighborhood" app. My neighbors use his monitoring system as well and are very satisfied. Definitely would recommend you use Indiana Alarm for your monitoring needs!!

From the time of contact to completing the installation, it couldn't have gone better.  Did research several companies before selecting Indiana Alarm.  Found Indiana Alarm Co. to be a top notch professional company.  Their product, pricing, and service is significantly better than that all of the major brands.  So glad I switch from ADT.

They did what other providers said they couldn't do. Monitoring service included the barn and the house for one price. They were professional, thorough, and very responsive.

We had received a letter from the old alarm company telling us that the 2G equipment we had would need to be replaced. When I called to schedule it, I was told that their cost was $1000 but they'd let me have it for $200 if I signed up for a new 3-year contract at a higher monthly price. That was a terrible offer so I checked Angie's list and found a local company. Indiana alarm said they'd install the new equipment for $150 and there was no required long term contract and they gave me a month-to-month offer for less than the old company before the price hike. The installer was on time, discussed questions I had, even showed me how to change batteries in the wireless glass-break and door ajar detectors in the old existing system. He set up the mobile app and made sure it was configured and working right before he left. I've been very happy with their installation and their monthly monitoring cost (under $30 a month). I've recommended them personally to several neighbors since then.
