Technician identified problem in a reasonable amount of time.

Sales was good. They come out and listened to what your wants and needs are.they make suggestions if needed but they do NOT high pressure sell. They are straight forward with their pricing. They have the cameras custom made . They do NOT use cheap products like you get at big box stores. The day they came to install was very cold. They showed up on time and went right to work.they were able to somehow figure out how to get all the wires to a dvr into a room. I was impressed with how quickly they did it. It was not an easy job but they clearly had a ton of experience. They set up the wifi and did all the electronic stuff that had to be done. They also explained how to use the dvr and smartphones for playback. They are professional and excellent with this kind of work. I would recommend them to anyone needing security around their home. Also, they have a great warranty.

(1) Did not show up - had to call one hour after scheduled time and then be told that they were running late. Finally showed up near 1.5 hours after scheduled time. (2) The person who showed up knew nothing about the security system, even though it is one of the most common ones on the market. He replaced the battery all right, but then he was supposed to spend the rest of the 1 hour ( minimum time they bill for- $75) helping be rest the syetem and teaching me how to use it.
Since he knew nothing about the system, he called someone at his work who tired to "walk" him through the tasks. After 15-20 minutes however the service tech just threw up his hands- said there was nothing he could do UNLESS I bought a NEW system from them at nearly $1000! Are you kidding me! If I buy a new system, he knows how to fix it, otherwise he does not?! I said no so he billed $100; $25 for the battery and $75 for what should have been a minimum 1 hour service. I think this is just a fly by night operation and should be removed from your recommended lists before other customers get hoodwinked. I tried to use a local business to suport them. Clearly a bad decision. Next time I will use a nationally recognized one.

I had called to ask if they made repairs to my particular security system, it had not been working due to a trouble light being on. The gentleman asked a couple of questions and said if I would call him back when I could be standing at the alarm box he would run me through some questions. I did as he asked and he was able to tell me over the phone what was wrong with the system. He told me what to replace and walked me through the process. He was able to fix the system without even coming to my house and did not charge me anything.
He was very polite and knowledgeable. If I ever do have a problem that needs an on site visit I will certainly call Hoosier Security.

Great install lots of advice.

I heard their advertisement on one of my local radio stations. I emailed the company and Alex got back with me the next day. We emailed each other back and forth working with me to get me the system I wanted. Armando came out the day they scheduled the install and did a great job installing my system and taking care of us.

Armando met with me at my home to review the project and provided me with a recommendation on what to install. I chose to set things up a little differently, and Armando didn't pressure me at all to do things differently. He was very helpful in explaining, when asked, why he recommended certain things I didn't feel that I needed, to help me make an informed decision.
Getting the exterior cameras set up and triggering recordings as desired took longer than expected, but Armando and his team were involved all the way through, worked with my schedule, and didn't stop until everything worked as promised. They ended up adding some equipment to get it to work correctly, but didn't charge me for it, because they wanted to system to work for the price they gave.
I'm extremely satisfied with the work that Hoosier Security did. How a company responds when things don't go perfectly says a lot about them, and I couldn't be happier.
Also, their contracts are month-to-month, and they use standard equipment that any company can monitor. So, if I'm ever dissatisfied with their service, I can always switch to another company.

The cost is the most reasonable that we found to install a video system by thousands of dollars. There is no monthly charge but they do have a maintenance package to do any repairs that is optional. We have had three monitors go out and they have replaced them with no problems and they have replaced cameras as well. The maintenance is a little slow but the price is so reasonable that it is worth using their service if you can wait.

They did an excellent job. Everytime that I have called them, they have been great and very happy to respond quickly. I would recommend them.

The experience was good.

The service went well. I got three different quotes and unlike other companies, they do not require a 3 year contract.
They are very responsive and they are locally owned. I would highly recommend them. The cost was significantly lower than the major security chains for the same service.

The service is great. They have high integrity. He gave a discount for some new technology they were using. They had to come back and make a repair and did so.

video camera system with DVR and complete alarm system. They gave me

There was a problem with wiring, but they quickly resolved it and did not charge extra. I am very happy with Armando and his team. They were on time and even though the house is old and they ran into unforseen problems, they honored the quote and came in on budget. Month to Month agreement is a huge plus too.

I have a bit of a weird schedule and Armando was happy to accommodate that (a big plus for me as I did not have to take time off work). The workmanship is great and he came in on budget and the work was completed when it was supposed to be. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Armando and Hoosier Security to anyone who is looking for a REAL security system installed by people that know security and not one of those toys the other security companies are selling. The real selling point for me is not having a contract; I like knowing if I am not happy with my service I don't have to "buy my way out" of someone else's incompetence. If a company stands behind their service and performance they should not need you to sign a contract to retain your business.

They gave us a written estimate, recommended devices to best suit our needs. No high pressure sales, very willing to talk and discuss
information with us as long as we wanted. Installation was completed on time.
