Drywall Service
They were nice people and their quote was good. They promised me that if the project was going to cost more than the quote that they would let me know but they could only remember 1 other time when they had gone over the quoted price. When I got the invoice it was for almost twice the price of the quote. After going back and forth with them they just were trying to charge extra because it was a insurance job and thought they could get the money. They said that it took a lot longer than they had expected because they had to work around the ladder frame and because they had to do some extra work to correct some sagging drywall. It took them so much time because they didn't come prepared with the right materials (they expected me to pay them their labor rate to DRIVE TO HOME DEPOT TO GET DRYWALL!!!!) and I watched them do the work... they took a scrap board out of the back of their truck (less than 1 sq. ft) and put in 4 screws to correct the sagging. Be careful!

JAY IS A NICE MAN BUT HE DOES NOT GET BACK TO HIS CUSTOMERS. I AM OUT $904.21 AND STILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM THAT I STARTED WITH. IT IS GOING TO END UP COSTING ME MORE MONEY IN THE LONG RUN BY USING THIS COMPANY BECAUSE OF THE MONEY THAT I HAVE ALREADY SPENT BECAUSE NOW I AM FORCED TO GO ELSEWHERE BECAUSE THEY WON'T EVEN GET BACK TO ME.

"THE MEMBER HIRED HOME PRO TO REMOVE AND REPLACE THE TILE ON THE BACK WALL OF THE SHOWER ENCLOSURE. THE DRYWALL WAS WATER DAMAGED AND THE DRYWALL WAS REPLACED WITH GREENBOARD. NEW TILES WERE PURCHASED AND INSTALLED. MEMBER STATED SHE WAS HAPPY. TOTAL COST 620.00. A FEW WEEKS LATER MEMBER CALLED ABOUT A SHOWER FAUCET WHICH WAS DIFFICULT TO MOVE ON OR OFF. HOME PRO DETERMINED THE MOEN FAUCET NEEDED TO BE REBUILT DUE TO BEING BROKEN INSIDE HOUSING. MEMBER ASKED TO HAVE WORK COMPLETED. WORK COMPLETED SAME DAY, HOME INSPECTOR WHO WAS WORKING AT HOUSE THE SAME DAY NOTED WATER DRIPPING INTO CRAWL SPACE AROUND SHOWER BASE. HOME PRO INVESTIGATED AND FOUND DRAIN ASSEMBLY WAS LEAKING AND ALLOWING WATER TO DAMAGE SUB FLOORING AND JOIST. ADVISED CUSTOMER THAT THE SUBFLOORING WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED AND THAT THE WORK EXCEEDED THE PROJECT SIZE TYPICALLY HANDLED BY HOME PRO. REBUILDING MOEN SHOWER FAUCET, NEW SHOWER DOOR SWEEP AND RECAULKING AROUND SHOWER BASE UNIT $120.00."
