Matt did an exceptional job on all of the work he performed for us.  The new staircase he built is beautiful, and he really went the extra mile to do a great job.  He doesn't cut corners, and he really cares about his work.  I have referred him to another friend for work in her house, and I will hire him again in the future.  He is very friendly and professional, and he cleaned up all of the construction debris, etc. very well.  A++++ for him!

I highly recommend Matt for any time of construction. He finished remodeling of bathroom, patched the drywall from a pipe burst, redid the plumbing, sealed the sink and toilet, clean construction...very meticulous, prompt, honest, professional, I loved the fact he was willing to go up beyond to make sure it was awesome and done right!! Thank you very much Matt. I would highly recommend him. He was diligent consummate professional. I will use him for future projects.

It's hard to find a contractor you can trust. I have a family 2 children and a wife. I felt comfortable leaving unattended while was at work. I had no worries with trusting him completely.

Matt was very professional and communicated well regarding timing of the different steps until completion of the bathroom tile. The work is neat, tile looks great, all the way into the very detail in edges and corners. Not only was the work done well and stayed within the estimated price, but Matt fixed two items on the toilet when he reinstalled it (he didn't even mention he did it). Very happy with the job and will call again for other remodeling jobs, for sure.

The service was excellent. The repairs had been going on for a few months. In October 2010, my roof was being redone and a roofer fell through the rafter. They thought they repaired it, but I started to notice a small crack, which roofers repaired. Then another larger crack emerged. Spivey of Spivey Construction said I needed a new truss, which they could not provide. He put me in contact with a engineer, whom recommended Heidt Construction.
Heidt Construction had to take down half of living room ceiling. They replaced part of the truss, reinforced some of the original construction, put up new dry wall and painted the entire room and part of the next room. Heidt Construction even fixed a hairline crack in my bedroom, which I did not ask for but was pleasantly surprised by. They completed this within 4 days, just in time for the holidays. Although they did offer the lowest quote, I chose this company because I felt very comfortable leaving my house in their hands.

It was a great experience. Matt and his team are completely trustworthy. We were able to be gone while they did the job. They had some items that were difficult to find, yet took the time to find them. They completed on time and didn't go over budget.

I liked Matt and Brandon immediately when they came to do the estimate. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and gave me suggestions on materials that I had not thought of. I wanted to purchase all the materials myself and have them give me an estimate for labor only. I obtained a total of 6 estimates (3 of which were from companies who required that I purchase all materials from them).
The remodel hit a small bump when they found a damaged subfloor but after replacement, everything went smoothly. There was good communication throughout the process. I had unknowingly purchased wall tile for the floor (special order) but Matt caught my mistake and although I had to change the pattern I had envisioned, I am pleased with the final result.
I must admit I was a little nervous about the tile and the plumbing because I’ve heard horror stories from friends. I did not need to worry. The tilework is beautiful and there are no problems with the plumbing. The entire remodel took only 2 weeks (one bathroom at a time). They went above and beyond when they improved the look of a wall vent near our floor. Previously, the baseboard was cut out to accommodate it but Matt and Brandon framed it instead and it looks much better. Matt suggested we install marble ledges in the new niches of our master bath shower so that there would be no grout lines on the bottom. This is something that I would never have thought of on my own and I know I would have hated to clean if they weren't there.
I have already recommended Matt to a colleague wanting to install a tile floor and I plan on hiring him again when I remodel our kitchen.

The project went extremely well. Matt came out to view the job and promptly prepared an estimate. He was extremely professional taking all the measurements and asking specific questions on the expectations for the job so he could build that into the quote. We scheduled the job a few months in advance (based on my schedule) and we were off and running. The estimate was for the basement to be completed over the course of 3 weeks. Matt stuck to the schedule and budget that was set at the outset of the project. Matt also worked with me to develop a design pattern to integrate new tiles into an existing tile floor. The new tiles work seamlessly and look like they were put in at the same time as the originals, it looks great. When Matt was done the basement once again had a floor, walls and working bathroom. It looks great. I was impressed by Matt's attention to detail and level of precision. On a few occasions he took some of the lumber back to the supplier as it did not meet his standards. I would use Heidt Construction again for future projects.

The dishwasher was defective and had been slowly leaking for a year running under the tile floors and up the wall behind the cabinets, destroying all of them. This wasn't noticed until the soaked floors, cabinets, and walls just couldn't hold anymore water and began running into my basement. the kitchen had to be stripped down to the bare bones. After the contractor had installed the new walls and cabinets , it was time for the tile flooring to be installed. Matt Heidt is AMAZING! He worked with us on all the details and installed the tile flooring beautifully. I still look at my floor and can't believe how beautiful it is. When the granite countertop was installed it was time to do the backsplash, I didn't want anyone doing it except Matt. I showed him a few ideas I had and told him to use his imagination...I trusted him so much I left and didn't see the finished product until I got home from work that evening. I was completely and totally thrilled with what I saw when I walked into my kitchen... the back-splash was beautiful. Matt's workmanship is brilliant, his grout lines perfect, his work ethic is super! I am so happy that I had the honor to work with Matt, he made my kitchen look better than I had ever dreamed! Thank you Matt for a job VERY WELL DONE!

They did extremely good work. They were very punctual and timely. They cleaned up well. They transformed my basement beyond my wildest dreams.

I spent about $8000 on his services. He does great work and he's trust worthy. He's just real precise. I know the job is going to be done right and it's going to look good when he's done. He takes care and does it. I would recommend his services to my friends and family.
