He did exactly what I had asked over the phone and I was happy with how it turned out, but he did not offer any additional tips or recommendations. We had one phone conversation and then he and a woman came on the date of the appt. and performed the services we had discussed. I would have liked it more if he had come out to look at the property in advance to provide any guidance on what else I could/should do.
I don't know that the tasks performed were a $100 value and was hoping he would provide a little more guidance to make the front look nicer. If you already know exactly what you want though, this is a great fit for you.

HardiBoi Yard Services LLC did great. He did everything I asked and more, actually. He didn't charge me for doing the more. I thought that was really nice.

I would recommend them. They were a little late showing up, but they were very good at doing everything I asked them to do. The property looked much better after they finished. And they hauled all the the refuse away.

I was happy that when I returned home one day all of the weeds were pulled or at least gone. I had wanted as many of the weeds actually pulled as possible to keep them from coming back sooner (rather than removed by weed eating) but I noticed that a good section of the weeding was done by weed eating. Possibly this was done to get the job completed in the allotted time under the Angie's List Deal purchased. Overall I was happy with the work.

It was fine. He showed up on time and was very pleasant. We had to ask him to pull our weeds, rather then just weedwacking them, and he finished a half hour early and didn't do one thing I'd asked him to do, but overall, it wasn't too bad.

I was not home the day they (he?) came back to trim the four bushes. It was by far the worst trimming job I had ever seen. The bush tops were not even, straggling branches were sticking out the top. And they didn't cut back the top of the lilac as requested and agreed to. The fence line was was a mishmatch of some work but not complete. The sumac was cut back, but not removed from the fence. You could see where they got tired and just quite sawing the piece stuck through the fence.
They did do a good job of clean up of of branches and hauled them away, but I paid extra for that service.

"Thank you for review and I m sorry you felt it was the worst trimming job you ever seen. I will like to add to the review that the bush tops were originally 10 feet tall and almost reaching the power lines. Per the contracts no ladders are to be used on the job. The bushes were trimmined down to about 5'7 - 5-10, the bush top consist of very fine sticks with leaves. In order to get the even top cut accross the bush would had to be trim lower and the customer would have nothing but sticks left. This is a loss- loss situation when it come to this type of bush trim unless the the bush are maintained in a regular basis. The customer had two hours of man work (two man on the job) which also included the time that it times to removed debris and load into the truck. Per contract and part of the big deal debris is to be left at the customer property unless they paid an additional fee to be removed and haul away (fee accroding to the service provider)."

The owner of the company did a great work. He is a hard worker, however, I had to point him several things before he got them done. Like: there were weeds in the grass and he didnt even touch them. There were weeds in my mulch in the front face of the my house. I had to show them one by one to him before he got them picked up. I was hoping him to see that weeds in any part of the yard is not good and pick them up. So if you work with him and show him exactly what you want then he will get a good work done.

"I usually dont respond to comments on as all customer are entitle to their opinion and I welcome both positive and negative feedback as it helps improved my business. However in case your case I have to respond. The bushes the you wanted to be removed were in the retaining wall unless the concrete was removed then the bushes could have been completelty removed. The edging was not done with a weed eater it was done with a strait edged shovel all by hand. The customer you were correct the my employee and I were there for 2 hours and yes maybe close to one and half hour each man. The contract clearly states and I will quote " 4hours equals to 1 man or 2 men for 2 hours, etc". My employee and I were there over the allow time that you pay for your services and you were not charge for that over time. As always I do appreciate your comments and Im sorry you felt our services were not your sastisfaction."

We were very disappointed in the service, overall. It was very difficult to schedule an appointment with Kurt in the first place. He seemed to have difficulty nailing down a time to schedule the service, and preferred to just call when he was available. He had to reschedule several times (once due to rain) and could not reschedule for a specific time (Maybe Sunday, maybe Monday???). He did end up coming back on Monday afternoon completely unscheduled and without calling first. Luckily, I was at the house to show him what we needed done. I walked him through the backyard and explained exactly what we needed done.
He told us he would be bringing two guys to do the work for 2 hours (2 hours x 2 guys = 4 total hours of work). When he arrived at our house he had his daughter with him, who was young and not someone I expect would be able to do lots of physical labor. I had to leave to go back to work, as it was Monday afternoon when he showed up, so I do not know how long they stayed at our house and was not able to monitor the work at all. When I came home from work I was extremely upset at what I saw. I expected a cleaned up backyard free of weeds, sticks, leaves, debris, etc. Instead, the yard was a mess! All I noticed was one tree that had been cut back WAY too far and that most of the work I had asked for had not been done. The middle of the yard had not even been touched, he left a mess around the edges where he did the trimming, and several large branches we asked to be removed were not removed. The reason we hired Kurt was because our backyard needed cleaning up, and now it looks worse than it did before.
We have tried calling Kurt to speak to him about the service, express our disappointment and ask if there is anything that can be done. But Kurt has not returned our phone calls.

"First of all it is 1man 4hours 2man 2hours you have it confused and my daughter was there for the ride along not to do any work. Leave removal is not part of the deal if you you would of read it the tree i cut back was half dead and hanging over should of been cut down totally tree sticks in the yard you didn't mention at all I deweeded like you said as well as trim back what I could along the fence line that had 40 to 50 tress full of poison ivy the contract stated 18 foot or less Far as rescheduling yea it was difficult to jungle a few customers around there work schedule and I cannot wait for you to get home to do the job to you can monitor work done things happen cannot make everyone happy but you always have your first upset customer and by the way I never gotten a called back"
