I have used Happy Tails for my pets for all travel for several years.  Brooke is responsive, professional, friendly - and her staff are attentive, follow the instructions for specific pets, leave kind and thoughtful notes that are fun to read after a trip away, and provide as much love and attention as your pet will allow.  I cannot say enough good things.
I'm leaving Indianapolis soon and sad that I will not have this excellent service in the future.

Brooke and Dana did a fantastic job taking care of our myriad of animals.  Brooke contacted us within 1/2 a day to determine what we needed and set up a meeting with the person who would be taking care of the animals (Dana) and then sent us all the information by email about price and information they needed to perform the services.  Dana showed up at the scheduled time and took detailed notes about what our animals expected.  I opted for 45 minutes a day because the bearded dragon needs extra care as far as feeding goes and the cats like their attention/play.   Dana also continued care of the 5 feral cats we have been taking care of outdoors.  Dana did a fabulous job delivering care to our animals, left detailed notes about what she did each day, and texted me each day to let me know how things were going.  I won't entrust my animals to anyone else now that I have done business with Happy Tails.  They did a fantastic job all the way around!

She left notes about each day and all the animals were well cared for and happy. The sitter also took care of the "extras" like bringing in the newspaper and mail.
Also, in the past Happy Tails came and took care of our cats on short notice when we had to change plans.

Each day the petsitter left a detailed note that provided the arrival time, departure time, and what they did, as well as any special information about our cat.  Unfortunately, our Bella is a bit temperamental and does not like new people, so she can be a bit of a diva; however, the pet sitter took it all in stride and didn't seem phased.
The first time we used them (which was in the fall of 2013) we were concerned as it was their first time looking after Bella-they even returned our call during our trip to let us know that everything was going fine.

We hired HappyTails to walk our pup 3 times a week.  Each visit is 30 minutes. It has really helped our pup stay active and even helped her lose some weight! We have been pleased with HappyTails because our personal dog walker is wonderful, communicates well with us (especially if she is unable to come due to cold temps, or otherwise and she is quick to reschedule).  The entire company is very responsive.  they respond quickly to emails or phone calls and they bill weekly using an email reminder.  We can even suspend our walks by just letting them know and there is never any hassle (the only reason we do this is because our pup gets to have doggy vacations with grandparents sometimes!) We have been fortunate that we have had one person coming to our home to walk our pup.  Only once was there a substitute, which we did not mind, nor did our pup, but I will say it is nice to have build a longer term relationship with one person who knows you, your dog and you feel comfortable with coming in and out of your home.  Occasionally our dog gets hot spots and we have even asked our dog walker to help put medication on these spots, make sure her water bowl is topped off etc.  She even writes up notes on how the walk was--which is very sweet.  Our pup is very pleased and so are we.  Highly recommend. 

We've used the service for over a month now, and are very happy. The owners always keep in contact and are responsive. Stef is our dog walker, and she is incredibly kind and caring. I enjoy coming home to read our dog's "report card" each day, letting us if anything particularly exciting or different happened that day. Stef actually called us recently, concerned that our dog was unusually uncomfortable and in pain. It turns out he'd hurt himself a few days prior, something we'd overlooked ourselves; this is a good example of how attentive and caring they are. We feel very comfortable with Stef or other members of the team visiting our house and caring for our dog.

Lauren from Happy Tails was great. She left me detailed reports of her daily visits with the cats. She played with them and did everything she said she would. They were well taken care of. Communication was excellent. When there was a minor discrepancy with the bill upon my return, the folks at Happy Tails were easy to work with and we resolved the issue quite easily. I would recommend them to anyone who needs pet care. I am woefully tardy in providing my review so my dates and amounts may not be exact but I would definitely use Happy Tails again when I need pet care.

This company is reliable and affordable.  They do a great job of screening the people they hire because I've never had a problem.  I receive detailed notes from each visit and really get the feeling that everyone who works for Happy Tails loves animals.

We have used them several times and the price has varied.

We had 3 cats.  One was 24 years old and needed a lot of attention.  We had Happy Tails Pet Sitting come twice a day.  Cindy, the sitter, understood the special needs that Matie (24 year old) needed and made sure Matie was fed and given fresh water, etc.
The most recent visit by Happy Tails Pet Sitting was this past week.
One of our cats had just gone to the Vet and was diagnosed with a bladder issue.  We thought everything was ok but were somewhat worried that he might have a problem that would go unnoticed without us home.  Our sitter agreed to let us know if anything was wrong  and watched the litter boxes for sign of any problem.
When I got home there were complete notes about both cats and we had to laugh at the attention our cats gave the sitter.  We actually wondered if the sitter sometimes gets more attention then we do!
Our plans changed and we came home a few days early.  There was no problem changing the date, the owner got right back with us to let us know the sitter had been notified.
In the past a friend always took care of our cats.  She was happy to do it and did a good job but I find using Happy Tails Pet Sitting is just like having her here, except I don't have to worry that I am asking too much from a friend.
They charge on a as needed basis and I feel the fee's that we pay are worth the peace of mind that we get when they are here.
They pick up our mail and papers, and take out the trash if necessary.
Last winter when we had so much snow I got a call from the sitter saying that the snow was high and she might have to shovel to get in but not to worry she would make sure the cats were fed and ok. 
I would recommend Happy Tails Pet Sitting to anyone who needs pet sitting.

Happy Tails does a great job, and provides an excellent alternative to boarding.  My dog is very peculiar about staying away from home, so the option to stay where he is most comfortable is great. We will continue to use Happy Tails exclusively. Thank you, Happy Tails!

She did a fine job. My cat was happy when I returned. While there, she fed my cat, cleaned the litter box, and spent about a half hour petting time.

Happy Tails is fantastic!  I don't know what I'd do with without their service.  I own and run a local service business here in indianapolis and am a very busy man needless to say.  Before I found happy tails, I was always stressed out having to leave work or an appointment to go and let him out and take him on a walk.  I never found the time to be able to go to lunch or have any sort of work related lunch meetings.  This was a problem.  I found the solution.  Happy Tails.   They are the nicest and friendliest people I have ever dealt with, which is very important since my dog can get nervous around some people.  Now, when I get home from work, Coach(my dog) seems so much happier than what he was before he was getting his mid-day "pampering"  from happy tails.  You can tell that he has a friend he enjoys seeing every day around lunchtime.  :-)

I stopped using HappyTails after they kept messing up.  The alarm would sound because they didn't set the alarm correctly.  Sometimes the new person in my home did not have the alarm code.  The cats were fed the incorrect food and were left starving for days!
I had enough of it, so I sent my cats to Pet Suites where they love it!

Once my dogs got used to a new person, everything has gone great. I trust them to give the best care to my dogs.
