1/4 " gap between wall counter in some spaces. dent in sink. Waiting to have splash guard done so poor application is disguised. It has been five months since original contact with this company. Should be completed by now. I feel I should get a reduction in price and a free backsplash.

Job looks very unprofessional. Waiting on them to come back and correct issues; but I am still expected to pay. They give me limited choice of days they are available. Will be over 6 months before job is finished. Gaps between counter and wall. I want to get my kitchen back together!! Feel like a partial Refund is in order.

First I'd like to point out the positives with Granite Transformations. All there staff is very friendly and conduct themselves in a professional manner. When challenges arose the installer, whom I had the most dealings with, seemed genuinely apologetic. I met with a salesperson on 4/15/2016, and after negotiations agreed on a price. For anyone whom is looking to get an estimate from Granite Transformations be prepared to negotiate. Also, they play the "If you don't sign today we can't guarantee the price" game, not even 24 hours to think it over. What I liked about the company was it did not require much demo, I had to remove my sink, they said it would take two visits to complete the work, one to create a template and one to install, and my salesperson said there was NOTHING that could change the price we agreed upon, even when pointed out some areas that could be challenging. The sales person's response was their installers were professionals and had seen it all. There would be no problems. I guess I was naive to belief that. I also have friends whom had used Granite Transformations and had a good experience. The first visit was scheduled a little over a month from when I signed the contract, late May. The associate arrived on time and got his measurements in a couple of hours. The installation of the counter top and sink was then scheduled for 6/10/2016. On the day of installation the associate arrived on time, started working and after about 3 hours of work told me there was a problem. He said my counter tops weren't level enough to put the new glass counter tops on. I was a little confused why they couldn't have figured that out, first when the salesperson came to look at the counter tops, or secondly when they measured for the template. The associate talked to his boss and the only solution was removing my counter top and building a new one to place the glass counter tops on. They said this wasn't factored into the price and it would be an extra $200-$300. Despite what the salesperson had told me about NOTHING could change my price I was/am very understanding about how difficult jobs can be in my house, the house is almost 100 years old, so I said it was ok. The associate did not have the materials needed so we had to reschedule the installation for 6/27/2016. On 6/27/2016 the associate returned and began to demo, rebuild, and install the glass counter tops. When he got to the sink he realized the sink that I choose, Granite Transformations gave me two choices that would work, actually would not fit. So now this is the third time someone has seen my counter tops/sink, salesperson, first associate that took measurements for the template, and the installer, and none of them really bothered to make sure they could actually do what they said they were going to do. They didn't have a sink that would fit in stock so had to order one. Someone would get in touch with me when they were ready to finish installation. Two weeks went by and I had not heard anything so I emailed the scheduler on 7/14/2016 to find out when they could finish. Keep in mind two days before the final install was supposed to be completed, 6/10/2016, I removed my sink per Granite Transformation's requirements. I received an email back the same day indicating they would be available to finish on 7/25/2016. That's about 7 weeks without a kitchen sink. On 7/25/2016 the installer returned and finished the job. The end product looks good, but is not perfect. There is one seam that is very noticeable. The installer said it's the best they could do with how old my counter tops were. When payment came due I was optimistic that given the time frame it took because of, in my opinion, oversights by Granite Transformations I would only be charged the balance on the original $5000 in my contract. This was not the case and the final total was $5,300. If I had to do this all over again I would not use Granite Transformations.

We liked the in home presentation. Seeing the product in our kitchen really helped in making g our selection of counter top. The installer was very professional and arrived on time. The only thing we had a problem with was the time it took for the company to contact us about the time they would come out for measurements. After not hearing anything for over 4 week, we had to call to see when the would be out.

We were advised as to an exact instillation date both verbally and by e-mail. Their instillation techs Chris and Jay arrived on time with all materials to complete the job. Our home is a converted barn with some portions completed prior to 1900. As a result any structure of this age presents some interesting instillation issues of anything. Chris and Jay were both knowledgeable and professional. As a result they were able to complete the project as per estimate and overcame any minimal instillation problems. They cleaned up any mess that was made, provided us with care instructions plus contact numbers and names should any unknown problems arise. The finished project exceeded our expectations.

They came out with the sample material so I could see it in the kitchen.  It is amazing how different the products look with the lighting and other materials in your room.  They set up the time and showed up promptly to take measurements and then for the installation.  The did our whole kitchen in one day.  My only complaint was that the day they were here it was raining.  They did the trim cutting in the garage which created a LOT of dust.  If I would have known that I would have tried to figure some other way for them to cut the pieces on a porch, etc.  But there was no mess in the kitchen - no moving everything out of cupboards, drawers, etc.  The price is comparable to a medium priced granite or quartz installation.  But in our case we would have had some major remodeling to make it happen.  And the installation was easy.  And the product is very easy to care for.

It was very expensive. It was several thousand dollars, probably between $7,000 to $8,000. It was okay. Our frustration was in that we didn't think they had enough people working for them in installation so they can't correct things very quickly.  We used their sink and we don't think they have installed them before because we had to have them out, then plumbers out and then them again so it went back and forth for about 3 weeks. The people are nice enough and the quality of the product is pretty decent. When we would call, they would say they only had one person and he was scheduled for a ton of installations so he couldn't come to do the work we needed. My husband actually sealed one of the places to get it done. It wasn't a big deal but when you spend that kind of money you expect more. The countertops are really nice. The installation problem was kind of problematic. They don't do the plumbing part so we were playing tag team with another person for stuff they didn't do so it kind of got a little bit crazy. It was pricey. They say that it was less expensive than granite but it was still high. The people were very nice and conscientious when they got here but it was hard getting them here. They did not have the experience with the sink. They are really nice people but they were overworked. They were concerned about the work but couldn't do anything about it because they were all scheduled with installs and they weren't sure when they could get somebody out. One time they didn't show up at all but they did call. but we had already set up our time for them. They were very professional and very interested in helping the customer.

"[removed member name], First, I'm glad you that you are overall happy with the company and the product. I'm sure the Nero Galaxy looks great in your kitchen. Second, I do want to take a moment to clarify that the price you mentioned was higher than what you were charged.... and the price was for a kitchen and a bathroom and two sinks, it wasn't just the kitchen. When you factor that into the price, I think it is much more within a reasonable range. I know your comments were taken from a phone interview with an Angie's List representative who was asking for details on-the-spot and your response was probably an on-the-spot estimation. I only wanted to clarify since your comments are made public. I thank you for your business and hope to hear from you again on your next project. Greg DeWitt - owner"

They were just wonderful!  They came out and took measurements and figured how much granite I would use and provided a price.  They then came back out and measured again and 4-5 weeks later they brought the pieces in and placed them over top of my old countertops and didn't make any mess at all!  Everyone I dealt with were very informative and very friendly.  I would highly recommend them!
