I stopped by Gillespie's one late afternoon to check out pricing for a wedding bouquet. I wanted them to make my daughters bouquet as I was going to make the rest of the flowers (corsages, and the bridesmaid bouquets). I called the owner just as she was about to leave for the day, she stayed a while longer to meet with us. When we arrived, she proceeded to show us the selection of pictures of wedding bouquets, but my daughter did not see anything that she liked. We ended up leaving for home and I immediately went on the internet to find some examples that my daughter might like. We found one and I sent the picture via email to the owner. The owner said her designer, Dwayne could make it. She introduced both of us to Dwayne the next day and Dwayne showed us what he could do, we even gave him some additional beads and jewelry items to add. The day it was delivered to the Church, I could not be any happier and my daughter loved it! I cant tell you how pleased we were with Sarah, the owner and Dwayne the designer not to mention all of her staff they were so nice and accommodating. Weddings are so stressful enough and they were so nice. I had complete confidence in their ability to perform the job. Thank you so much Sarah and thank you so very much Dwayne for a great memorable lifetime experience.

The old line 'you never get a 2nd change to make a 1st impression' is never more true than when ordering flowers. Flowers are a luxury--an extravagance in these times mostly for very special occasions, ie. weddings or funerals. You need to depend on the provider, especially when you go to one higher priced than their competitors, to represent you well. Gillespie Florists on W. 10th St. is not someone you should count on. We went in person to the florist where our particular staff person was cool and indifferent--never a word of condolence which could have easily been offered. When the flowers were delivered for the visitation they lasted not even 6 hrs.--the oasis was wet so no other explanation but inferior flowers w/out fresh cuts on the stems. When the flowers were taken back we were again meet w/ indifference, a full refund defensively given and not a single word of apology. With money being tight, this florist cost $50 higher for the same arrangement than a competitor just 8 miles away. If you depend on flowers for a special occasion don't depend on this florist to represent you well--take your business elsewhere.

I called the morning of the Visitation and asked to have some flowers sent to the funeral home. The flowers arrived on time and were nice. The florist did the arrangement as I requested with the card attached (as I specified). Very nice.

I have ordered flowers for years from this company, for about any occasion, that you can think of. They always come through, with a good product. I have never been disappointed.

They were very professional and accommodating to my change requests. The flowers that were delivered were very fresh and exactly what I had asked for. I would highly recommend this florist. The flowers got delivered first thing in the morning on the day I needed.

ORDERED FLOWERS FOR MOM AT NOON, SHE HAD THEM BY 2:00P.M. THE SAME DAY. SHE SAID THAT THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL. WITHOUT FAIL I CAN ALWAYS DEPEND ON GILLESPIE FLORIST FOR BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS AND SUPER FAST DELIVERY! PREVIOUSLY PURCHASED BIRTHDAY FLOWERS AND A FUNERAL PLANTER (TOTAL $100). CALLED IN THE AM. BOTH WERE DELIVERED THAT AFTERNOON. THE BIRTHDAY FLOWERS WERE BEAUTIFUL. I DID NOT SEE THE FUNERAL PLANTER, HOWEVER I AM SURE IT WAS JUST AS ORDERED. I USE GILLESPIE FOR ALL MY FLORIST NEEDS. JUST ONE PHONE CALL AND I AM SET FOR DELIVERY.

CALLED AT 9:00 A.M. FOR DELIVERY OF A SMILEY FACE BALLOON ATTACHED TO A SMILEY FACE MUG FILLED WITH CANDY, TO BE DELIVERED TO A BUSINESS. SHE HAD IT BY NOON. ALWAYS EASY ORDERING OVER THE PHONE. GREAT ATTENTION TO DETAILS. SUPER FAST DELIVERY!

ORDERED A $30 BOUQUET - FLORISTS CHOICE. WHEN MY HUSBAND BROUGHT IT HOME, I WAS A BIT DISAPPOINTED THAT IT SEEMED NOT AS FULL AS OTHER BOUQUETS WE HAD PURCHASED THERE. I CALLED AND THE DESIGNER RETURNED MY CALL WITHIN 3 MINUTES. SHE EXPLAINED HER CHOICE OF FLOWERS AND DETAILED THE PRICING FOR ME. THE BOUQUET ITSELF WAS BEAUTIFUL. I VOICED MY DISAPPOINTMENT WITH THE FULLNESS AND THEY WERE VERY QUICK AT WANTING TO MAKE IT RIGHT. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND I WOULD DEFINITELY RETURN THERE AGAIN!
