I wish I saw reviews before I bought anything from them! It's a very horrible place, they changed my order and called my a liar! And when I called them to get to reach a resolution, they were very disrespectful and condescending. They have no right to treat people like trach! I will never recommend them to anyone so DON'T BUY FROM THEM!!!

We found the sectional and ottoman that we liked and placed the order.  The delivery process was fast, however when they came they brought the wrong color, (it comes in two colors) so they had to take it all apart and return with the second color.  When they returned with the second color, it still looked darker than what was picked out in the showroom.  Originally only one of us went to make the purchase and selection, and they then sent me a picture via text of the sectional.  I approved it becasue the color looked right in the picture.  When we noticed that it looked very different once it got to out home we contacted the GM, Mike Wallace.  Please note that his name reminded me that i should contact 60 Minutes about this shady experience. 
Mr. Wallace stated that the contract is clear that they do not accept returns and that they will not exchange for something else because it is considered "used furniture".  I suppose my biggest issue is that they will not work with us on even selecting something else in exchange.  He stated that the furniture looks lighter in a picture becasue of the lighting.  I am not contesting this, as that makes sense, except for the fact that he did not state that there is a drastic difference in color from what you see int he showroom to what it actually looks like in the home. 
This is the first time ever in my life that a business has refused to do the right things and attempt to make things right.  With so many choices and especially furniture stores to visit, I am just stunned that they would behave in such a poor way.  Business must be so great that they really could care less about how one individual feels.  Needless to say, we will not return to this store for any future business.  Yes, we failed to read the fine print, but that is no excuse for a "business" to operate this way.  I could understand if I just wanted my money back, but when I offer to come find something else and they so no, thats just poor customer service.  Even car dealerships take new cars back as "used" after a few days, and we are talking about a sectional here. 
I am not going to say don't shop here, but please make sure you read the contract first and also know that they will not work with you once the sale is complete.  And for sure beware of the lighting situation, or what i will now call the "lighting trick".

Numerous issues. My sister bought a bunkbed for her daughters, and I wanted the same one. Went in, found the bed, with a sign stating the price included mattresses. We also picked out a living room set, which he upsold to a package deal, including lamps and tables. We picked out the lamps and tables we wanted. He also offered Scotchguarding, which we agreed to purchase, with 3 young children. We then also made an impulse purchase of a child's recliner that my daughter wanted. That chair we were able to take home with us, and was the only thing that turned out right about the experience. When we went to pay, the salesman told me we needed to purchase mattresses for the bunk bed. I had to take him to the sign to show him I was being honest about them being included. The salesman told us the delivery man would call within 3 business days to schedule delivery. We went through almost 2 months of calling, complaining, being told our furniture was not in stock and would be in the next shipment in a couple days, being transferred to different people and managers. We were getting married on March 31st, and had people coming from out of town. We NEEDED the furniture we had paid for. I finally was fed up, and told the man on the phone I would have my furniture within the next 3 business days, or I'd have my money back. He told me he would waive the $75 delivery fee because of all the issues. 4 days later, we finally get the call from the delivery man. He hadn't been told our fee was supposed to be waived, so we had to pay him to get the furniture. Our tables were not there. My husband called the store, and told them we would pick them up, as we didn't want to wait for another delivery. It was obvious immediately that the furniture was not Scotchguarded. As soon as we took the plastic off the furniture, I dropped some water on it and it sank right in. My husband called back about this, and the man said they could come out to our home and Scotchguard it, but he'd have to have a manager call back about that. I drove all the way into Indianapolis from my home in Greenfield, picked up the tables (in boxes) and went home. I get home and take them out of the box to discover they are the wrong color. I had ordered black, they gave me brown. I called and spoke with a gentleman on the phone, apparently since the salesman wrote down the number wrong and I signed the papers, there was no recourse for this. Note, he wrote down a number, not a color, so a consumer wouldn't know it was wrong unless they knew the numbers, which I didn't. The man on the phone even agreed it wouldn't make sense to get a black and gray furniture set and ask for cherry wood tables with a brown/cream marble top, but still no fix to my problem. I filed a complaint with the BBB, and they closed it after no response from the business. I filed a complaint with the state AG, who ended up filing a suit against the business on behalf of all the consumers who had issues. They won the case, and I am owed money, but still haven't seen it. I posted on the business's Facebook page, and had 3 people write me that they had similar experiences. I have now been blocked from writing on their page, and they deleted all negative comments from any users.

As a result, I haven't received my mirror for almost 3 months and nobody call me to
explain. I was very upset and called the store. They said the mirror
would be shipped from North Carolina and arrive Indiana in two weeks. I
called them two weeks later and they still didn't know where the mirror
was. I have no idea what 's going on in the store. The service is so bad
and the staff is very rude.

Furniture For Less on E. 86th Street is a ripoff!  I paid for a headboard, told it would take 2-3 weeks to arrive, but it never came.  The ONLY thing I received over the last 7 weeks were excuses and empty promises of delivery.  The final straw was this week when the store manager rudely told my daughter that the headboard was JUST AT THAT VERY MOMENT discontinued and I would be issued a credit to my charge card.  That was 5 days ago, still no credit to my account.  I have now opened a dispute with the bank for the amount on my credit card.
Do yourself a favor...BEFORE walking into a Furniture For Less store research them thoroughly online.  SO many people are dissatisfied with this company!

"On August 31st the Customer did order a special order headboard. The approximate time frame of two weeks was given to the Customer. On September 1st the headboard was ordered and the vendor’s warehouse gave us the same approximate arrival time. Two weeks later, when checking on the headboard it was pushed back to another two weeks for the headboard. She had no problem waiting. After the second two weeks when the Customer’s daughter was belligerent on the phone about the headboard with the manager the vendor’s warehouse stated it still had not arrived and that was because it had been discontinued. We are at the mercy of the vendor on when special order items will come in and the guarantee. It also states that there are no refunds. After the Customer’s daughter’s verbal threats the manager explain we had just found out that it was discontinued and immediately submitted her refund request. We did our rounds with the furniture stores in Indy and ultimately ordered from Furniture For Less in Castleton. WORST DECISION EVER!!! In short, it has taken more than 3 months to get our furniture, the quality was poor with crooked dresser knobs. I had to keep calling to get an update on when the furniture would be in - MULTIPLE TIMES. They never once called to say "Hey, giving you a courtesy call to let you know your furniture is back - no sense of courtesy or customer service after they got paid. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Purchasing was fine , Jennifer provided a catalog for us to order a coffee table from since we didn't see a set we liked in store. She advised it could be several weeks before the order was ready. After more than a month I finally called them to get an update and they say "Well your dresser chest and night stands are in but the table is still back ordered." Well it would have been nice to know at least SOMETHING was in but no, I had to call to find out. So they set up delivery for the nightstands and dresser ($70 delivery fee). Several more weeks go by and nothing... I finally call again ask about the remainder of our order (coffee table, end table, and stool). "We show the stool was delivered with the night stands and the vendor's site is down so I don't know what's going on with your tables." COMPLETELY CLUELESS. The stool was never delivered to us but they showed it was, they were showing things were at the warehouse when they weren't. NO PROGRESS. Several more weeks go by and I call again. "Well the end table is in but the coffee table isn't" AGAIN THEY COULD HAVE LET ME KNOW SOMETHING IS IN, it's not like we have existing furniture we're replacing, we just bought the house and have nothing. We went to this box store thinking it wouldn't be THAT difficult to get decent furniture at a good price in a reasonable amount of time... WRONG. It's not like we're ordering custom handmade furniture here. So the end table gets delivered and someone comes to look at the knobs on the night stands. I lost track of what happened but essentially told them it had been so long that I don't even remember the stool and I don't want it anymore and after hoops and looping back with managers, they finally agreed to refund the stool at the sticker price, not the price we paid. Nice. This is now the end of May and I call Jennifer again about the coffee table - she doesn't know anything but says she'll call me back. I went out of town but today it's 6/15 and she never called me back - I called her, she says she'll call me back but no, I get a call from Amanda in the warehouse. She informs me the truck they were supposed to get today from this manufacturer isn't coming but it will be here the end of next week. I AM EMBARRASSED FOR THIS BUSINESS. THEIR TRACKING AND ORGANIZATION IS TERRIBLE AS WELL AS THEIR COMMITMENT TO FOLLOWING UP WHEN THEIR SERVICE IS FAILING. I understand things come up and back orders happen but there was NEVER ONE INSTANCE of updates or communication from them. This is sad and very disappointing. 3 months after a $1350 furniture purchase and I'm still short a coffee table. In store, Jennifer was helpful and wonderful to work with. Everything after that point has been absolutely unacceptable and I will advise anyone looking for new furniture to avoid Furniture For Less.
