Our dog was groomed once by Ted upon referral by someone
we know. Contacting the shop is difficult because the answering machine is on
much of the time. We found Ted unfriendly. Another pet owner was present when
we picked up our dog. She warned us not to go into the back because “he yelled
at me when I did.” Finally, and most importantly, the grooming was not
satisfactory. We discovered mats behind both of the dog’s ears when we got
home. We will not return.

We have been taking our small dog to Ted for grooming for quite some time. Generally speaking, Ted is pleasant, does good work, and is reasonably priced. His new facility is very nice as well. However, I have reservations about the long day (drop off by 9:00 and pick up between 5:00 and 6:00) because I have observed that my dog never gets a potty break while there (8+ hours). This is despite having raised the issue on more than one occasion. Now, I believe Ted simply lets my dog out to potty once I arrive for pick up, and that explains why it takes him a while to bring her out once I appear. Given that I know the grooming is typically completed before 5:00, there really is no excuse why the dogs do not get a mid-day potty break. As much as I like Ted and appreciate his work, I have decided to find a groomer that will either finish my dog's grooming in a shorter time or at least let her out mid-day. In my view, expecting a dog to hold it for more than 8 hours unnecessarily is rather inhumane.

He is wonderful we have been using Ted for the past 2 years and he is great.

I was referred to Fur Bee by a friend who takes her dog to Fur Bee for grooming regularly. Ted, the owner, took the time to listen to what it was I was looking for in a new groomer and we scheduled an appointment just a couple weeks out since that's when my dogs would be due for their new cuts. I was thoroughly impressed with Ted's professionalism and willingness to help. He has now moved into a new location and upon arrival I was so pleased with the atmosphere and overall appeal and feel of his facility not only for dogs, but people too. My dogs seemed to do well during their stay for that day and looked fabulous!
I think you will be pleased as well if you go see Ted and his team as Fur Bee!

He is wonderful and I have always been extremely happy with his service and the hair cut that he gives my dog. He is just a very nice man who you just know that he loves what he does and it shows. His store is so cute and always very clean. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I have checked around for prices and he is by far the cheapest I have paid for. For the same job Petsmart and Petco charge 45+ for their hair cuts. I refused to go to any other groomer in indy. The only drawback is his hours just because of my work schedule and working downtown. It would be so helpful to have a Saturday once in a while but I make it work. Ted is the best:)

Roxy looked adorable and smelled great after her appointment! She sometimes gets nervous around other dogs and in strange situations, but she showed no signs of being stressed when I picked her up. I've already made her next appointment.

Ted is great. Grace obviously enjoys going. She looks terrific when I pick her up. I've been able to get Grace groomed within a week of calling for an appointment at a very reasonable price. At the last grooming, Ted offered to come in 15 minutes early, so that I could make sure I got to work on time. How often do you get that kind of service, anymore?! I was very grateful and impressed.

Dropped maggie off at set time. Received call letting me know she was done. my dog looked very nice and didn't act like she had been cooped up all day. Great job for price! Will use again!

I can't say enough about them. When you take your dog to Ted it is a treat for you dog. It is a spa like atmosphere.

I have two very large dogs and it is $110 for full service grooming for both. The dogs like him and he does a fabulous job. It takes me 15 to 20 minutes to get there but I continue to use him because he does such good work. The guy is very talented and very thorough; he does the inside of the ears, he clips the hair between the toes, and he does a lot of things that my other groomer missed occasionally.

I give the highest rating I can to them. They are really great. They are very professional. They are great with the dogs, and the facility is beautiful. It is a really nice place. It is very relaxing over there. I have been using them for many years.

Everything was outstanding with them and their service.

We were able to be scheduled for the appointment within the week. Our dog was shampooed and trimmed. He looked great and was happy when we picked him up at the end of the day. Fur bee is our new groomer.

Ted is very accommodating in hi schedule. Our dog looks great every time we picked him up from his grooming.

Everything went fine. Dropped her off in the morning. They call when finished in the afternoon. She looked perfect and was very happy.

The dogs looked great when we picked them up. We dropped off as the placed opened (9 AM) and we were able to pick them up around 3:30. The dogs weren't over-perfumed and the cut was very nice. I will definitely take the pups back there.

Ted does a great job grooming our dogs. We have been bringing one every to every other week for a year.

I was so impressed with Fur Bee. I walked on to the porch to be greeted by coffee and once entering it was like a spa with soft music, candles burning and waterfalls. I wanted to stay myself! When I picked our dog up, she was happy, clean, soft and had a great haircut. All this for a GREAT price!! Thanks for a great experience!!

We've used several area grooming services for our schnoodle, but Fur Bee (aka Ted) does, by far, the best job. Our pooch comes home looking good and smelling good. Also, his coat is as soft as it could possibly get. There are cheaper alternatives out there, but I definitely feel that we got our money's worth.

Job 1: Was fit in on same week appointment was requested. Atmosphere was soothing. Dog was well-groomed when he was returned! Job 2: My dog always enjoys going to Fur Bee and comes home looking great!

What a delight!! The salon is spotless, and the location is wonderful. I stopped in to check things out, saw Ted grooming a poodle, and knew that I had found someone who really knows dogs. Ted is kind, extremely professional, and very good at what he does. My Maltese was more than a little past due for a hair cut. Ted put her at ease immediately, which is not an easy task. She now looks absolutely lovely!

Ted is always happy to see our dog. Ted listen to what we want for our dog and our dog always looks and smells fantastic when he leaves Ted's Spa.
