FRANKLIN TILE

He knew how to do his work.  He lays tile and does drywall too.  He does meticulous, excellent work.  He has very good design sense and all of our friends use him as well.

I was extremely pleased with the entire experience! First, Dan Franklin, the owner, arrived promptly at 9:00 a.m. on a Saturday to give me an estimate. He did not charge anything extra for placing the tiles on a diagonal like some of the other tile installers that I had called. Since the work was to be done at the end of the kitchen remodel, he told me to call him about two or three days before I needed the work done to schedule it. I did that about a month later and he was able to begin the work within two days. I had all of the supplies ready. Once again, he arrived promptly at the scheduled time. He worked diligently and had all the tile placed on the walls by the end of the day. I added some decorative tiles and he helped me choose how to use them efficiently. He cleaned up everything and came back the next day to grout. On time again, he was very helpful when I was unsure of my grout choice and placed the dry grout up on the wall so I could be sure of my decision. The grouting went fast. And the tile work is beautiful! He returned the next day to seal the tile. By the third day, I almost felt like Dan Franklin was one of the family. He was very friendly and conscientious in his work. His tile work is excellent! I would strongly recommend him to anyone and will definitely use him again when I have more tile work to be done.

The work was on time and fine, except that he told me I should seal the grout myself, and told me where to get the best sealer. That didn't work out well.

DAN FRANKLIN DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB FROM START TO FINISH. HE MADE ME FEEL AT EASE FROM THE START. HE TOOK CARE OF EVERY DETAIL AND REALLY TREATED MY HOUSE AS IT WAS HIS OWN. THE WHOLE PROCESS TOOK 2 DAYS, WHICH WAS 30-50% LESS THAN OTHER PLACES QUOTED ME. HE EVEN TILED UP THE TOE-KICKS, AT HIS SUGGESTION, AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. HIS PRICES WERE ALSO 30-50% LESS THAN THE 3 OTHER ESTIMATES I GOT. THE TILE LOOKS FANTASTIC. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.
