Florists
Were ordered a week before my birthday, and arrived 1 day late. A phone call would have been appreciated. On the day after my birthday, they came with the flowers and candy and a note saying, "Sorry, our driver took the flowers to the wrong address on the 11th". They missed it by one day because of a driver's error. It would have been nice if they would have noticed this and called me. The box of candy that was delivered with the flowers had been placed under the basket of flowers and was partly mashed and showed evidence of being wet. I called the store and complained. They offered to send a new box of candy out; I declined. I just let it go at this point. It would have been difficult to schedule another delivery time.

"The order in question was placed with 1-800-Flowers and not with our company. The order was forwarded to us for fulfillment after the order was already messed up by another florist. We did our best to mitigate the problem that had occurred because the other florist. As is our policy, we would have replaced the candy if there is any question regarding the quality, but the recipient declined a replacement. We strongly advise anyone wanting to order flowers to use a local business rather than an out of state company that forwards the order to a local florist. It costs less to order from a local florist. Second, mistakes are much more likely to happen as your order is forwarded around until someone is willing to fill it. We regret the problems the recipient experienced, but we are limited in how we can correct a problem that our company did not cause."
