Chanda Johnson was great; she ended up supervising some of the fixup of the house, making good suggestions along the way. She made the whole process incredibly easy. I also thought her pricing instincts were spot-on. I would highly recommend her.

They provide detailed guidance for preparing property for sale as well as thoughtful and personalized guidance for purchasing decisions. They were unorganized with scheduling showings, they were less than cooperative with our schedules, and they were overly demanding of our time and our schedules. This was the second time we used them. We had used them to help us close our condo. Looking for our home was a positive experience. Kate Flock could have cared less about anybody else's schedule, and she has a house to sell and she would do anything to do it. For a property owner she was great, but for somebody living in the property, she was a nightmare. Go to her if you want to sell your house.

Flock developed marketing plan for my home, provided guidance on how to stage the the home, and helped me evaluate the marketplace in determining the list price. At every step of the process they were prompt, professional, knowledgeable and flexible in accommodating my schedule. As a result, my home sold after 23 days on the market.

Incredibly they linked my house in mid- December and I accepted an offer in mid-January that it sold so quickly during the holiday season illustrates Flocks knowledge of the market and that excellent marketing skills.

We contacted Flock Realty as we were planning to sell our historic downtown home and move to a larger home farther from downtown. We met with Kurt and Kate Flock in approximately early March- they came to our home and gave us an idea of what to expect in terms of price and timeline for the sale of our existing house.
We could not have asked for any better experience with a realtor than what we experienced with Kate. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and very responsive to our needs. Even though Flock Realty focuses on downtown properties, she found us several excellent options for a purchase in our desired locations in northern Marion County and eventually in Carmel where we finally bought a home that we love. Kate was very honest in helping us find a home to fit our family needs and never pressured us to purchase a home too quickly or outside of our desired price range. Additionally she provided excellent insight into the quality of construction and potential problems with certain properties that were shown in order to protect our potential investment. Kate was protective of us as buyers and really advocated for us in terms of negotiation. At closing the seller's agent even commented how wonderful Kate was to work with from a realtor-to-realtor perspective so I'm confident that Kate's reputation speaks volumes on how she handles every transaction.
We were equally impressed with Flock's handling of the sale of our existing home. Kate and Kurt helped us determine a list price that was well-researched and competitive for a timely sale. While we were initially disappointed at their suggestions for our home's value following the recession (we bought it at the peak of the market in 2007), they were spot on and clearly know the downtown market. We were pleasantly surprised to have ~10 showings in the first week and a half on the market and had an accepted very good offer within 2 weeks! With an older home we expected to have a few things come up during inspections. Kate and Kurt helped us determine what issues were truly appropriate for us to agree to repair (primarily safety and termite concerns) and recommended excellent roofers/carpenters/electricians who did excellent work for reasonable and honest prices.
The closings for both homes were smooth and uneventful and we couldn't be happier with our decision to use Kate and Flock Realty for both buying and selling our homes. We will definitely use Flock Realty for any future local real estate needs and recommend them without any reservations. While Kate was our primary realtor we interacted with everyone else in the office (Kurt, Stuart, and Jen) at some point and were very pleased with everyone. Even my parents who are realtors (in a small town out of state) commented about how we had gotten so lucky to have had Kate and Flock Realty! In the end we consider Kate to be our friend, not just our realtor, and couldn't be more pleased with how everything turned out.

We had a uniquely beautiful downtown home which we decided to sell last year. The Flock's quickly placed ads as well as seeking, successfully, independent magazine article reviews of the home. There wasn't a question they could not answer nor was there a service to assist us they would not do. We closed a complicated transaction with their expert guidance and extra effort.They both are extremely professional and consider of the pressures both buyers and sellers experience.
