Five Star Works

It went exceptionally well. The result of the work exceeded expectations and the we were impressed with the cleanup.

Tony came to the house and we walked through what rooms we wanted him to paint (the more heavily trafficked areas). He gave a very reasonable estimate for the quality of work he ended up performing. At the time, we had not yet moved into the house and were going to have furniture delivered into the dining room, living room and master bedroom. Tony was able to work around our schedule and get those rooms painted before the delivery. He also worked around us installing new flooring in several of the rooms.
Several of the colors we chose ended up being very dark and Tony had to work extra hard to make the color look great on the wall. He definitely did a fantastic job and did not charge us any additional money for the extra effort he put in.
We have two columns that separate the kitchen and living room. Tony recommended applying venetian plaster to the columns to really make them 'pop' and stand out. He was right and they look great after his work!
Tony answered all of our questions and even offered us tips/instruction on painting techniques for the other rooms that we plan to paint on our own.
We are very pleased with the end result and are strongly considering his services again in the future to paint/treat our kitchen cabinets.

Tony is awesome!! He's a excellent painter and great guy to have around the house! He's very professional, friendly and honest! Tony was flexible with our schedule. When we needed something done by a certain date, he had it done. He worked late into the day at times, past when most painters go home. Tony had the best price quote and did the best job of any painter I've seen. He made certain that you like what he does and takes the time to come back and make any changes or additions you need. Our dining room/entry and halls look beautiful! He made our old kitchen cabinets look brand new! He spent hours making our staircase look perfect! I recommend Five Star Works to anyone. They are very prompt and very detail oriented. Their principle Toby has done home that end up in magazines about homes. He does really high quality work.

Tony Tobey is great! Tony is more than a painter he is an artist. He has his portfolio of past work on-line, including before and after pictures which is awesome so you can see the types of rooms/houses he's painted in the past. His work is phenomenal! He suggested faux painting our bedroom ceiling, which we had not thought of and it is awesome! He painted our kitchen 4 different colors that looks great and flows w/the living room. He is extremely neat and tidy and fast! He estimated it would take 5 days to paint our 3 rooms and he met that estimate. He is very trustworthy, we gave him the garage code to our house and he came and went as he needed. He always called the day before to let us know when he would be there the next day.
