Estate Landscape Management

I didn't use them this year.  I know the guy.  His name is Coby.  This whole street uses him.  I would continue to use him except that it was just not a good summer.  It was a total of maybe 8 or 9 times that they came out.  They did a little bit and then didn't come and then came back and did a little bit so I became discontented with them.  Then he went on vacation in the middle of the summer.  I thought that was crazy for someone who owns a landscape company.  I found out too that one of the foremen was fired and that's why it didn't work out.  It was not good.  The actual work they do has always been good.  I would go back and use them again.  I think they would be more organized.  It's not a bad company.  When he does it, he does it well.  The trick is sometimes to get him to come.  If I ask him about something, he does not come back and do it.  I think he is busy.  I think he does not necessary need the residential stuff so much.  I have heard from his foremen that they have apartment buildings and much bigger scenes.  I think he charges as much as anybody else, not less and not more.  When he sets a date, he shows up.  In my opinion, the word professional means being punctual, being responsive, being price-right, having good workers, and doing the job very well.  I think I might give them another chance.  He is young.  He started it himself 10 years ago.  His in-laws live on our street which is why he has made so much money on our street.  Everyone here used him because he is our neighbor's son-in-law.  He is so easy to like.  He is a guy you just like.  But then he always says that he will do something and then you never hear from him.

Initially, the quality and timeliness of the work was good. Then I found that I had to call him to prompt him to come back and clear snow in areas not cleared. In the Spring, I contacted him about lawn clean up and mulching, for which I had paid about $900 the previous year. I stated that I wanted the work completed within the next two weeks and he stated that he would be here to do it the following week. Three weeks later, I had not heard from him. I called to tell him that his services were no longer needed due to the failure to follow through.

ELM has done several projects for us. We were satisfied & found the owner (Coby) responsive & easy to talk to.

They came on time. They did a great job. They worked hard and finished everything in one day. They did a fantastic job; I have a lot of plantings and an invisible fence that can be easily damaged, they did a great job working around these obstacles. I have used them for the past 4 or 5 years, they always have a reasonable price.

Work is always professional and well done. Reasonably priced and of high quality.

We have had excellent and timely service and the quality of work has been great. As well as the quality of the plant material. The mulching, edging, etc are all of high quality. We have used this company for 3 years since moving into our current house.

They have gotten lousy in the last year or two. He came to look at my chimney. I needed it to be treated to keep it from cracking. It is from doing my yard that they received the contract to do our area here. I don't think they are used anymore. I am positive they are not now. He was supposed to come over to remove my leaves. He was surprised someone was coming on Sunday. They are supposed to come and clean our gutters and they never showed up. I am slow pay. I have to arrange my payments by IRA withdrawals. They should know this because I have used them from the beginning. The last bill I paid was $500 and the one before that was $1800 so it isn't like I was having cheap things done. I told them when I sent the last bill that if they didn't start responding I was going to use someone else. The last time they came out they did not have the proper equipment and had to use mine. They used my ladder and my weed whacker. They were trimming with some kind of scissors like thing; it would have taken forever. I have had them for three years now. Up until this last year they were good. I don't know what happened to them.

I thought they were terrific. Anything you need done you call them and they come and do it. I thought their prices were reasonable, all of these jobs took place over the summer and I was only billed once. Had to call them back to repair some caulking work, which they did.

We have been very pleased with their work. They did an excellent job, plowed our driveway and cleaned off our sidewalk and walkways in a timely manner. It took them a little longer to get to us when we had the 8-10 inch snowfall, but we expected that with an all day snowfall where getting around was difficult with some of the streets not even being plowed. However, they did come back and do a more thorough job later in the day.

They are doing a leaf removal weekly at our home. Clearing out all leaves on the lawn and bed areas. They do a great job cleaning up and getting all the leaves. They have kept up with my dying flowers. It is great not to have to worry about these things.

My yard has never looked better. They cater to the needs of my yard, not a program. Customer Service is great. The owners are the ones who do the work, they are professional, kind, clean cut and nice guys. I recommend this company.

THE PEOPLE WITH THIS COMPANY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HARD WORKERS. THEIR EXPERIENCE IS OUTSTANDING, I WOULD HIRE THEM OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

WEVE ALSO USED AN INDIVIDUAL IN THE PAST AND THEY ARE A BIG IMPROVEMENT OVER THAT!
