Ertel Roofing

Ertel Roofing was initially impressive, giving us the cheapest quote to fix a
leak stemming around the chimney area of our roof. We went with them because
their representative was enthusiastic and insistent that he knew exactly what
was to be done.
 
They sent someone out to repair the flashing around the chimney base. For some
reason they did not match the existing roof shingles, claiming that the shingle
type we currently had on the roof was discontinued. We?re not sure they even
bothered to research this because we later found an Owens Corning shingle at our
local home store that was almost a perfect match, except for the obvious
differences resulting from comparing a brand new shingle to one that?s already
weathered for 15 years. Anyway, the repair work looks like an obvious patch job,
with shingles that are obviously mismatched. Also, though the leak diminished
somewhat after the repair, it was not completely eliminated. We have not had
much success getting them to revisit this issue. We have left voice messages
with them a few times, e-mailed pictures of the area in question after a
particularly hard rain. One of these attempts managed to bring a guy out who
went up into our attic to see the problem firsthand, but from what we can tell
nothing was done about it. No one called to inform us they were coming, no one
left anything on our door to let us know someone had been there. Nothing. Our
last attempts at rousing them with our e-mailed pictures have yielding no
result. As far as we're concerned, we've been nothing but patient and
understanding with this company. We haven?t been especially aggressive in
contacting this company and holding them to their word. It's obvious to us that
once they realized this was going to be one of those supposedly small leaks that
are actually very hard to stop, they lost interest. So did we. We would just
like to warn other people out there before contracting Ertel Roofing.

Brian showed up on the day he promised.He gave us a detailed estimate and askrd us to look it over carefully. He answered all questions and told us to get other estimates,which we did. Three days later I called him and  told him he could start as soon as possible. He ordered the roofing and was here two days later with his crew.
It was very hot but they worked steady for a day and a half until the job was complete.
All of the trash and extra material was removed. It has rained since then and there are no leaks or problems of any kind.
Ertel Roofing did a great job and there price was much lower than anyone else.

I have lived in this house for over eighteen years and have had a lot of issues come up over the years. He has done work on my roof four different times but they were years apart. He was the only one who could fix it after several major roofing companies fixes failed. He was also someone who told me that I didn't need as much work as I thought I would need as I thought we would need to replace it. He is very friendly. The cost is excellent, lower than the rest.
