I needed to have the ceiling of my metal barn sprayed with foam insulation and wanted to have it completed before the weather got too cold, if possible. I called Enviro-Seal Foam Insulation in mid-November and they came out around Thanksgiving for the estimate. The salesman said they could do the job between Christmas and New Years?, so I agreed. They never called me with with an exact date, so I called them to make sure they were coming and what day to expect them. The scheduler said they were booked and it would be Jan.13th before they could start.. I told them I wanted it sooner because of cold weather, but that was the best they could do. On Jan 12th their installer came out and started preparation by covering the walls and contents with plastic. When they came on Jan 13th to start the work, they found they had broken a hose on the equipment and would have to reschedule for the next week, on Jan 20th. (Not the next workday) When they came back on Jan20th they didn?t have any ladders or any way to reach the ceiling because their ladders were at another job, so I let them use my ladders. They started spraying, getting about ¼ finished. They said they would be back later. They came back on Jan25th (not the next workday) and got about 90% done and ran out of foam, and said they would have to come back later. They came back on the Jan31st (not the next workday) and finished, using their own ladders. Since mine were coated with foam over-spray, they had a new kid spend 2 or 3 hours trying to scrape the foam off my ladders but it didn?t work very well. It was his first day on the job and he didn?t really know what he was doing.
When they were finished, the thickness of the ceiling wasn?t uniform. It was 2 inches in some places and 4 inches in others. There were one or two places that were barely covered at all. The installer said that was because it was a hard place to get to, and if they had used a scaffold it would have been better.
The next day I went out and looked over the insulation job and decided it was a good job overall, but I would never recommend them to anyone. It seemed they lacked experience and knowhow, and when they pulled all the plastic from the walls they left thousands of staples all over the walls and wood around the doors and openings.

The workmanship has been fine. Everyone I have met has been very nice to talk with. The only problem has been breakdowns with their machines that have prolonged the job.

It was great. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very careful and informative. They were honest as well.

They had some equipment problems on the scheduled day - and we had some communication problems. But, to their credit - they were 100% professional about making sure they got the work done, and you can tell customer focus is taken seriously. Very much appreciated that. Great work - will use again!

Enviro-Seal got me scheduled before the end of the year for the tax credit and their employees were very professional. They covered all my valuables in the basement in order to protect them from overspay and worked into the evening finishing the job as promised. I would definately recommend them not only for their good job but also for their pricing. I also had JR look at the rest of my home in attempt to make my home more energy efficent and he gave me some tips without trying to sell additional services.

J.R. was prompt in calling me back. He thoroughly explained the nature of the materials used, did a complete inspection, and gave me a quick estimate. I had to ask him to return because he had actually come to the house a day early and my husband couldn't be there. Because I wanted to use a material which my husband wasn't familiar with, I couldn't give J.R. the go-ahead on my own. J.R. returned the next day with a complete estimate, explained the nature of the materials to us again, and we set a date. He arrived with his men on the date arranged. They were polite, professional, and worked steadily both days to completely finish the job on time. They were so quiet I almost didn't know they were in the house. We have found the house to be much warmer since the new insulation has been installed. We won't know about the gas bill for a few more weeks, but we're very satisfied with the feel of the house compared to other winters.

This was the first time that I have ever used them. I found them on Angie's List and chose Enviro-Seal based on positive reviews. JR Lynch is the name of the owner or manager, I believe, and I had spoke with him a couple times. There were some equipment problems a couple times and before that, there were scheduling problems. Then, they came after three or four different schedule changes, pulled out all of the equipment, drilled the holes in the siding, and then the equipment wouldn't work. So, they spent a good half day out here trying to get everything started but had some kind of equipment problem. The reason they kept having to reschedule was apparently because of earlier equipment problems and having to wait on parts to come in. Then, when they got the parts and finally made it out to my house, the two workers, who I felt so sorry for, tried to get the new equipment to work. They plugged all the holes that they had drilled. Then, I waited several days for the second batch of new equipment to come in, so this delayed the entire job again. It was a nightmare of problems for them. JR had been in an accident, so he was out of commission and turned it over to someone else in his office. I like the idea of the insulating foam, but they were just having several different kinds of problems when they were supposed to be out here much earlier to do the job. They finally got the job completed and knocked a couple hundred dollars of the original quote because of all the trouble of trying to get me scheduled and then getting the job done. I like them. Every company can have some problems, but generally, if it is a well established enough, they already have their back-up equipment and other things they can rely on that helps them continue completing jobs that they have scheduled. In the case of Enviro-Seal, they apparently don't keep a reserve of pumps and things that they would need on a job, so that they don't have to keep rescheduling their work. They were very good at cleaning up. The two workers were pretty professional. I don't know how I would grade their "service" because of the explanation above. I would recommend the foam insulation. Enviro-Seal appeared to be the only ones that I found in the area that did this, so if they were able to do a better job of keeping their equipment in working order, or be able to quickly replace broken equipment with a supply they had on hand so the job wouldn't be delayed for several days, yes I would recommend them to others. I could be the only one that this has happened to with him, I am not sure. I really didn't have anyone else to compare their pricing to. The scheduling problems I had with them in the beginning were not because of their equipment. Before I would use them again, I would make sure that I was not going to have scheduling problems and that their equipment was working.

Enviro-seal was one of 2 contractors that responded to a service request. JR always returned my calls and helped work in my small job into his crew's schedule. The crew was professional and took care to maintain our furniture and other items that the spray foam insulation might have damaged. They applied the correct amount of insulation and trimmed it well after the drying was done. I am thankful that they were willing to perform this job and that they did such a good job was outstanding.

We called J.R. Lynch of Enviro-Seal Foam Insulation to assess our needs. He carefully checked all the needs of that area and made suggestions. He was very professional and knowledgeable about his foam product and how it could meet our needs. We had a written estimate 24 hours later. We felt confident that he had assessed our needs accurately and that we would use his company when we reached that step in the remodeling. When we were ready we called Mr. Lynch and he was more than willing to be there on the needed day in our very tight construction schedule. We were more than pleased with the crew who did the job and Mr. Lynch was here to supervise the work being done. The difference in our room since the project has been completed is remarkable. It's been very hot and humid recently and the area is cooling much faster and with less effort. Our sound issues have virtually been eliminated. Rate this company A plus!

JR was great to work with from the start. Not only did he seem to know and understand what he was talking about, he was extremely personable as well as the two guys working with him on the installation. Insulation services are generally expensive, especially when you get into foam applications; however, I felt very comfortable with the price for services rendered. Cleanup was adequate, and no excessive damage was done. I will again use JR for services in the future as needs arise and recommend him and Enviro-Seal to friends and family members.

I thought they were really great, very respectful. They worked hard to get the job done. They showed up on time for the job. I felt they were very professional.
