Very thorough and explained the process well.  Followup reports complete.  Recommendations seem solid.

I would rate them very highly.  I hope I don’t have to, but I would use them again in the future.

Mark arrived in the late afternoon as agreed and setup the blower door test after initial inspection of the home. While it was running, he then did a thorough inspection (which he allowed me to assist) of each duct and air return, while giving me several pointers on ways to improve efficiency. We then crawl under the house and he inspected the crawlspace for insulation. He recommended sealing the crawl with foam insulation and removal of the fiberglass batting. His inspection included a thermoscan camera to see where air was leaking. We then went into the attic and inspected that insulation amount and ducts, as well as with the camera. We then sealed off the air vents and began measuring each one for leakage, including the cold air return. Afterwords, Mark sent me his final report which include all the items, in order of priority, that needed done to improve my homes efficiency. In this report also showed the payback period of each improvement. We went over the report by phone to ensure I understood it. Mark is also a certified instructor and teaches others how to conduct energy audits. He has a very good business, and does an excellent job. I have since recommended him to a friend, who has also been very satisfied.
