I hadn't used my snow blower in over three years and it wouldn't start when I tried to fire it up this year. I took it in to Elson's Lawn and Garden expecting to have to have the fuel supply and lines cleaned out as well as new spark plugs etc. I was also prepared to leave it for over a week since I took it in the week of Christmas. They gave me a very reasonable estimate for their standard tune up when I dropped it off at lunch time and I spent less than 15 minutes on the drop off, very quick service.
I received a call latter the same day that the blower was ready to go. I went over on my way home from work and picked it up. It started right up for me on the first try.
Speedy service, polite staff, great price that they actually stuck to. I will definitely be using Elson's again.

We have used Elson's before and always liked their service. They picked up our tractor and took it in for a tune up for Fall and Winter. They also repaired an ignition problem we were having. Reasonable prices, professional and nice employees. Specifically they fixed a grounded wire, replaced a key switch, changed the oil, replaced a spark plug, added fuel filter, flushed the fuel system, greased the fittings, aired up the tired, sharpened the blades and cleaned the air filter. We are happy. Job well done!

He did a great job. It was just that they a took a long time, but those things sometimes do. The work was supposed to be done in two or three weeks. When we called, no one seemed to be able to look it up and find the process of the work. We did call two or three times to check and see if it was ready, but there were several different people we spoke with and no one really knew the progress. However, when the work was complete, the called us and the lawn mower was repaired properly.

I'm very satisfied. They had a generator worked on there and a lawnmower and they got it done on time. It worked like a charm so I had no complaints.

I did not have that much of a problem in the first place but I was satisfied. They have called since then and asked me a question or two. They got it fixed when they said they would and the machine runs good now.

Some confusion on delivering to wrong house. Got that solved, then noticed fuel leak still existing, they came out & picked up mower fixed it a second time. Then the new wheel came off during the 5th mow of the season. They were slow to come and do the repair the 3rd time until we got upset. Once again on the final delivery, promised no matter what to deliver that day, but could not find the house and never called. The mower is fine now, prices were fair though the hassle factor was high. I would use them and recommend them but they gotta have this feedback.

I was given an estimate of 2 to 3 weeks for the repair. I was excited when they called and the repair was complete at 2 weeks. I went to pick up the mower only to find that they simply adjusted the self propel cable. I expressed hesitation and took it to the parking lot to test it. The problem had not been repaired at all and it had the same symptoms. I went back in and they got the original mechanic who then attempted to blame me for taking it home and breaking it (not knowing that I had not even left the repair shop). He argued that it didn't have that problem originally(when actually it is the reason I brought it in).
They agreed to fix the problem within the day. Two days later I recieved a call that it was fixed. I asked them to double check that it had actually been repaired, and they were nice enough to do that. I recieved a call back that it wasn't repaired and that it needed a belt replaced. A week later I had heard nothing, so I called to check on the status and was told it was ready for pickup. I went to pickup the mower, and they had me come help and search for it. We found it in the very back covered up by weed eaters and in pieces. They agreed to fix it again that day.
I received a call two days later that it was ready for pickup and the guy verified that it was complete(at this point I am picking it up fixed or not). I went to pick it up and it was put back together. It appears to be working, but the jury is still out on the longevity of the fix. I recieved no apology, no thank you, and my only reward for my patience was to be asked to prove with receipts that I had paid for the repair on the previous pickup attempt.

Overall good, with the exception of a thick rubber band part which was disconnected and not put back on. Lawn mower seems to run great.

Wow! What a great company. I was tired of Carmel Welding's high prices so I went to this little shop I pass on the way home from work. I needed a lawnmower blade sharpened and my string trimmer wouldn't start. In two days they rebuilt the string trimmer carburetor and replaced the fuel lines and for the mower, sharpened the blade. Best of all, the cost was only $55 total. They powerwashed both pieces of equipment such that they looked new. I am definitely changing where I take my small engine equipment for service and repair.

They have been there a long time. They are close to us. They got the tire down when they were supposed to. It was a routine service.

The company was on time and provided excellent service. They picked the mower up on Friday afternoon and dropped it off on Saturday morning good as new. I only paid $35 for the repair and I had expected to pay a lot more.

I had the tune-up done before mowing season arrived & did not try starting the Edger or Mower until mowing season. By then the petty 30-day warranty they give had expired, as I was informed of after the fact. The edger starts fine, but the mower takes about 10 to 15 pulls to start. It was better before the tune-up.

ALL STAFF POLITE AND HELPFUL. THIS REPAIR SUFFERED FROM THE WORK ORDER HAVING, APPARENTLY, BEEN MISPLACED. WHEN I CALLED TO ENQUIRE ABOUT PROGRESS AFTER 2.5 WEEKS, (I HAD BEEN TOLD THEY HAD A BACKLOG OF WORK) THEY HAD A PROBLEM LOCATING THE MOWER! HOWEVER, THE MOWER WAS READY NEXT DAY AND THE REPAIR APPEARS TO BE ENTIRELY SATISFACTORY.
