One of our ceiling fans started turning its lights on and off, at full brightness and at dimmest setting, and blinking them by itself. Kyle, our technician, came the day after we called. He was on time, personable, and fixed the problem by removing the receiver for our universal remote control and allowing two switches to control the lights and rotating fan. He said that even slight power surges into a home could damage the circuit board in the receiver, and recommended that, if we wanted a remote, we get a fan that had one built in. He suggested that we do that and remove the old fan and receiver, which would save us the $99 fee for removing the receiver from the old fan until we could get a new one, but we opted to go ahead and have the receiver removed now. We appreciated him trying to save us that money. He had a vacuum cleaner which he used to clean up debris that had dropped during the removal process, and took the receiver and wires to be disposed of. The total cost of his visit was the $99.

The company returned my call on Saturday and scheduled me for Wednesday. The tech looked over the job and gave me a written quote which I accepted. The tech was right on time, well spoken and professional.

The electrician completed all requested repairs quickly and answered any questions I had. An additional repair that just came up that day, needing an outlet for a new microwave, was discussed with the electrician. Not only did he install the outlet, but also helped to remove the old microwave. Definitely will use Electric Today for the next repair I need.

Called Electric Today on a Saturday morning at 1am for a septic sewage ejector pump electrical issue and Mike answered the phone very professionally and took all my information to come by 7am to see what the problem was. Although it was raining very hard and the worst possible conditions to be working outside Mike was always polite and kind. After being out at our home for over 2 hours he diagnosed the problem and we schedule with him to come out on Monday to fix the wiring issue at our home. So we are now just waiting to get the issue finally fixed. I would definitely recommend using this company as they answer the phone promptly, come out fast solve your problem and more importantly takes time to properly diagnose the problem.

Justin, Tyler, Mike, Kyle, Wayne, Zach and the quiet one (sorry I didn't get your name--hope I didn't miss anyone), walked into a mess they didn't expect and never blinked, never lost their composure, never whined. It took almost twice as long as they expected and they were cheerful, pleasant, upbeat, really hardworking and willing to explain everything, make adjustments when necessary. They were here every morning on time (to the point of sitting outside and waiting until it was time to knock on the door) and stayed way past 5:00. They must have eaten sometime but I don't know when. They did a wonderful job of cleaning up every day. They dressed professionally and acted professionally. Clearly they are proud of their work and it shows. This was not a fun way to spend money but they made it pretty easy. I would recommend them without reservation.

The provider identified a problem with our home electrical wiring related to our outside electric dog fence. It had caused an exterior outlet to stop working as well as a bank of lights in our basement and garage. He was able to identify the problem in less than a few minutes and did NOT charge us for the service. We have favorited this provider and will certainly use them again as they have shown themselves to be honest and knowledgeable. Now we can get the Christmas lights working outside! Thanks.
