This was a great experience! Ed was very helpful with product choices. I really didn't want to do the work while all my beautiful plants were in their prime but Ed assured me they would survive. They did! You really can't even tell they were here! His employees looked after the clean up process like it was their own property. They were some of the hardest working guys I've ever seen! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Holmes Roofing to my family or friends. Grade A ++++++++++ experience from start to finish.

Holmes Roofing is definitely the way to go! They were very courteous and professional. They even worked with us and our insurance company to ensure that we got what was needed. I was very pleased that they took the time to evaluate the roof multiple times and how quick and easy it was to get the job done!! When they were finished they cleaned everything up thoroughly to ensure no nails were left behind!

FIRST OF ALL I SEEN THAT HOLMES ROOFING HAS A 10 YEAR LABOR WARRANTY!! I LOOKED IN THE NET & FOUND OUT THAT IN INDIANA COTRACTOR ONLY HAVE TO GIVE4 YEARS. I ASKED MR HOLMES Y HE GIVES 10 , HE SAID HE GIVES 10 BECAUSE ITS TWICE WHAT OTHER COMPANIES GIVE & HES 2 TIME BETTER.IM WILL SEND EVERYONE I KNOW HIS WAY ,THAT NEED ANY KIND OF WORK DONE TO THERE HOME! FROM START TO FINISH WAS PAINLESS. THE OWNER HIMSELF CAME OUT TO DO ESTIMATE HIMSELF WITHIN 2 HOURS OF MY CALL . I DAILED 862-ROOF & HE SAID THAT DAY THAT PHONE LINE WAS FOWARDED TO HIS CELL. I SIGNED WITH HOLMES ROOFING RITE AWAY, DUE TO I CALL 3 OTHER COMPANIES & NONE SHOWED UP , ONLY ONE EVEN CALLED ME BACK & THEN DIDNT SHOW AS PROMISED. ED MET MY INSURANCE COMPANY HIMSELF AND PROVED TO THEM THAT ROOF AND GUTTERS SHOULD BE COVERED BY THEM. I ONLY HAD TO PAY MY 500 DOLLAR DEDUTABLE, ED GAVE ME A COUPON FOR A FREE UPGRADE TO THREE-DEMENTIONAL SHINGLES. MY ROOF LOOKED BETTER THEN ALL OF THE OTHER HOMES AROUND ME, I ASKED ED WHY AND HE EXPLAINED THAT THE FINISHED SHINGLE CALLED CAP WAS A MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE TYPE THAN OTHER COMPANIES. ITS CALLED TIMBER TEX, ITS DOUBLE THE THICKNESS OF OTHER SHINGLES. HE EXPLAINED THAT CONTRACTERS WILL SELL 3-D SHINGLES AND PUT 3 TAB ON THEIR ROOF TO SAVE SEVERAL HUNDEREDS OF DOLLARS, I DONT THINK THAT WOULD MAKE THAT ROOF A LIFE TIME WARANTY ROOF. HE COMPLETED MY ROOF IN TWO DAYS ONE DAY FOR THE ROOF ONE FOR THE GUTTERS HE WAS ON THE JOB FOR 70% OF THE TIME. ALL WORKERS WERE THE HARDEST WORKERS I HAVE EVER SEEN. THEY WORKED NON-STOP TO GET MY ROOF DONE. I HAD MY ROOF INSPECTED AFTER WORK WAS COMPLETED AND THE INSPECTOR TOLD ME IT WAS NEAT AND PERFECT HE HAD NEVER SEEN MORE QUALITY WORK. HE EVEN POINTED OUT THAT MR HOLMES TRIMED MY TREE AWAY FROM MY ROOF. IF I EVER MOVE I WILL MAKE IT PART OF MY DEAL WITH THE SELLER THAT MR HOLMES INSPECTS AND OR REPLACES MY ROOF BEFORE I BUY ANY HOUSE

Was told by another person I should replace roof since it was leaking where it was. Went for a second price and opinion and glad I did. Ed from Edwin Holmes Roofing was extremely quick to come out and look at and fix with in 24 hours. It was an extremely overwhelming thinking i might have to replace my roof but after a second opinion and it being fixed with no leaks. Thanks Again Ed for your quick service and knowledge .

i could not have been more pleased with thwork perfomed by holmes roofing. Mr Holmes was very easy to work with from start to finish, his crews were very neat and courtious, and Mr. Holmes came by the job at least twice a day to check on the progress and to make sure the work was being done corectly. I was very satisfied with the work done by Holmes roofing, and the time frame in which it was completed. I would highly recomend Holmes roofing to anyone who asks.

Jerry, a sales representative, pulled up to our house and looked at the roof from ground level (he didn't even get on our roof), said that we had hail damage, and wanted us to sign papers immediately. (which locked us into a roof replacement contract with them) When we started to ask questions about price, etc., Jerry said they would take whatever the insurance company would agree to give us. (but the insurance company said we didn't need a new roof, just a few replacement shingles) He went door-to-door through the neighborhood also. We talked with a few other roofing companies and each one of them got on the roof to inspect before talking about damage. None of the other companies tried the same high-pressure, sign-immediately kind of tactic either. NOTE: Provider has confirmed that his representative, Jerry, was at our house and did drive the gold Mercedes when the company truck was in the shop. (the vehicle referenced in our earlier complaint). He also informed us that Jerry is no longer employed by this company. Since the person who caused the initial issue has left the company, we are updating our rating to be consistent with the rating of a 'resolved claim'. ('B')

The entire transaction from start to finish and our final payment made took about 8 days....any large home repairs gives us some anxiety...however it was at a minimal for this job because the work was done as stated and on time.

The company mats with me on Monday & thoroughly reviewed the job. Began work the next day and completed all by ended week. Completed all aspects of the job very well.

From the estimate to the final product they were prompt, professional, and took care of our house and landscaping while getting the roof done on time and cheaper than others I had gotten estimates from.

Quick response to my request for a quote. Good follow up after it was delivered. Very responsive to my questions. The actual tear off and install took about 2.5 days, not much longer than their initial estimate despite replacing much deck than expected and despite the shingle install subs not showing up. The quality of their work was excellent. The roof looks great down to the details and showed no evidence of leaks after a hard rain. Overhang into the gutters was correct all the way around. Nail penetration and placement was correct each of the 10 or so times I visited the roof. All valleys were wrapped correctly and cuts are straight. Caulked all exposed fasteners. Cap shingles are straight and properly lapped. Did a good cleanup job. I've found only a handfuls of nails left behind and a single wrapped from a bundle of shingled. Swept porch, sidewalks, and deck. Used a dump truck rather than a rolloff, so no damage to my asphalt driveway. This was all without my having to ask. Overall the work was excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

From the time I first called to completion of the job, which only took a little over a week from the initial call to completion, Edwin Holmes and his crew were very courteous, efficient and professional. The showed up when they were supposed to, cleaned up after themselves as the job progressed, and when they left you wouldn't know they had been there except for a new roof and chimney. Everything Ed promised, he delivered. Ed was there to see that the job was done professionally, and his crew was well trained and knew what was expected with minimum supervision.

I was very pleased with their work. They were quick, efficient. The price was good and I couldn't have been happier with them.

They did a good job. Their prices were very fair for the work they did. I would use them again.

Standard tear-off with dimensional shingle install.

Was at my home within a couple of days to write up estimate. Donny is very knowledgeable, professional and customer friendly. Estimate came in lower than others. Will more than likely hire them to do the job, but am waiting until next spring.

Everyone was very nice, and the work performed was excellent.

I had Holmes Roofing tear off my complete roof and put down new boards. First of all, the owner gave me an estimate and showed up exactly when he said he would. His whole crew showed up on the day and time I was promised. I came home at lunchtime just to see what was going on and his whole crew was working hard. I liked the way each crew member had a specific duty to do, from the actual laying of the shingles to the picking up of the trash in the yard. You would have never known they were there because all of the trash was picked up, including a big piece of a tree that he took to the dump along with my roof trash (which was very much appreciated!). The roof does not leak, even after the heavy rains we have had. Ed Holmes contacted the gutter person that he uses promptly and saw that my gutters were installed right away.

Edwin Holmes had his crew on the job the next day. They tore the roof off of our Cape Cod home and installed a new on the next day. The siding work was completed the very next day. Three shingles along the top of the roof were installed in the wrong direction and the company took care of that as soon as we pointed it out. The shingles we ended up with were of much higher quality than what we started with. All in all, it was a very satisfying experience. Mr. Holmes is preparing a written report for us to use in our lawsuit against Sears Diamond Exteriors for the shoddy work that company did as well.

This is the second time that I have contracted with Edwin Holmes, and his company is absolutely outstanding. They are of the highest integrity. Attention to every detail is their trademark.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE WAY ALL WAS HANDLED FROM THE PRICE TO THE WORKMANSHIP AND THE CLEANUP. THE PRICE WAS IN LINE WITH ALL OUR OTHER BIDS. THE JOB WAS DONE ON TIME AND AT THE TIME PROMISED. WHEN THEY LEFT THE AREA WAS CLEANED UP AS IF THEY WERE NEVER HERE. WOULD HIRE AGAIN.

THE FOREMAN WAS VERY POLITE AND PERSONABLE, AND THEIR WORK WAS EXCELLENT. I DON'T KNOW THE PRICE SINCE THEY WERE SUBCONTRACTED. I WAS ESPECIALLY PLEASED WITH HOW THEY HANDLED A SITUATION WITH RAIN. WHEN A SURPRISE POP-UP THUNDERSTORM CAME THROUGH AFTER MY EXISTING ROOF WAS TORN OFF, THEY SAT UP ON THE ROOF FOR NEARLY AN HOUR IN THE RAIN TO HOLD THE TARPS DOWN TO KEEP IT DRY. THEN THEY WORKED TILL DARK (ALMOST 9:00) WITHOUT A DINNER BREAK SINCE THERE WERE BIGGER STORMS COMING IN. GREAT JOB!

THE ENTIRE PROJECT TOOK ONE DAY. VERY IMPRESSED. A QUALITY JOB. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO OTHERS.

THEY WERE VERY PUSHY ABOUT GETTING THE JOB, BUT WE WERE PLEASED WITH THE END RESULT.

MR. HOLMES WAS ON TIME TO VIEW THE PROPOSED WORK AND PROVIDED HIS ESTIMATE IN A TIMELY MANNER. AS ONE OF THREE PROSPECTIVE SUPPLIERS, HE WAS THE HIGH BIDDER, BUT HIS PROPOSAL WAS OTHERWISE ON A PAR WITH THE OTHERS.

WE HAD A MISERABLE TIME FIGHTING THE INSURANCE COMPANY TO GET THE DAMAGE COVERED. ED WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HELPED US WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY. HIS WORKERS WERE PROFESSIONAL AND QUICK. IT TOOK THEM ONE DAY TO INSTALL OUR NEW ROOF AND AN ADDITIONAL DAY TO INSTALL THE NEW GUTTERS. WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE, WONDERFUL JOB.
