Holmes is the contractor- the roofers who did the actual work were wonderful. Roofers were very professional and did excellent work. The gutters were ok, but 2 of them had screws come loose- will fix them ourselves.
Would only re-hire the roofers!

I contacted Ed to repair shingles blown off my fourteen year old roof. I asked him to inspect the roof for other damage and overall condition. The roof was quite worn, but not damaged to the level for an insurance claim. While repairing the roof, he took the initiative to paint the rusted furnace vent pipe. I asked him to give me an estimate to replace the roof and gutters. I agreed to the terms for the project. He delivered the materials later that day and the crew installed the roof the next day and the gutters were installed the following week. I went with Ed?s color recommendations and am very pleased with the results. It is a major improvement to our property. Ed and both of his crews were punctual, professional, courteous and meticulous in their cleanup. A roof may be the largest investment you ever make in your home and Ed Holmes will give you a result that you will be proud of. I would recommend him without hesitation. I intend to utilize his services for additional home improvement projects.
The brick was never the problem as Edwin Holmes said it was due to his shoddy flashing around the chimney and yes it was
his responsibility to correct which he didn't do. I had to hire and pay someone else to take up the shingles around the chimney
replace the water damaged decking again and do the flashing correctly. He should have reimbursed me for the work he couldn't/
wouldn't do.
"This a untrue review , I did this roof almost 10 years ago, roof is not leaking . The brick is leaking. Then he had bone dry come out , said they fixed it. Obviously They could fix roof. SOME PEOPLE R SO RUDE. THE LEAK WAS THERE BEFORE I ROOFED HOUSE. It's NOT A roof leak❗️ EDWIN HOLMES"
My house, barn and garage were damaged by a bad hail storm in May 2014. I remembered seeing many Holmes Roofing signs in yards all over the south side before the storm hit. I went and talked to a couple of the people that had there roofs and gutters replaced by Ed Holmes and they were extremely happy with the workmanship, quality of the work and Ed himself. I walked around their houses with them to inspect his work and it looked great. I contacted Holmes Roofing and they came out the next day and provided me with a very detailed estimate which I forwarded to my insurance company. Ed even met my adjuster on site and walked out the entire scope of the damage. They did such a great job on my garage that I can't wait to see my house when it is finished.
