It may be legal but it's no way to run a business or engender good will. I was contacted today by Ed Martin Nissan salesperson this morning that a 2011 Ford Ranger I was interested in just came down in price. I immediately went down to the sales lot and learned that the truck was on the lift being worked on. I checked back later that day and was told it was still being worked on but that Mason, the sales manager, would notify me if it was done before 6 pm that day so I could come back. I got a call from Mason later that day. But just to let me know the truck had already been sold. He did not give me the courtesy of a call to give me a chance to make an offer. This was after I clearly showed my interest by visiting the lot for the second time for the Ranger, and by checking back by phone. I also let Mason know I had the funds to pay by cashier's check immediately. The person who bought the Ranger just happened to be on the lot when the Ranger became available. So it's not like seller had any prior commitment to buyer. Especially in this climate when small trucks in good condition are so hard to find, this way of handling the sale by Mason was really disappointing. When I said to him that just seemed wrong, I got no apology from Mason. He simply said 'No it's not.' Not a good way to run a business.

I always get very good service from them. On my last visit, the tire had a leak and they didn’t charge me for that. Their customer service stands out. They know me by name and they know my cars. They take good care of my cars. They give me very fast service. Even if I call them at the last minute, they take me right in and they take care of it.

I didn't pay anything.  You can pay additional to the cost of your car and I added the maintenance plan to it.  They are willing to work with you.  I have the same salesperson for years but the newer one is way better.  They followed up almost every month since I bought the car.

We needed to find a good used car for commuting. I called and spoke to a salesman named Mike Collins about a car I'd seen listed on their website. He was very nice and helpful. He also seemed very straightforward and I knew he was someone I could work with. When we went in to see the car, he had it ready and waiting for us. They had obviously put a lot of money into reconditioning it and showed us its service records for everything the previous owners had done and also what they had put into it. The result was a very nice car with brand new tires and zero mechanical issues. They made sure every last accessory on it worked. Nothing was broken or unworkable, despite it being an older, high mileage car. Since our trade in was an older SUV (not the most popular vehicle right now), many dealers had given me very low ball offers - despite the fact it was in great condition. The appraiser at Ed Martin looked it over carefully and gave me a reasonable offer (as opposed to looking at it across the lot and giving me an off hand guess). The price on the car we were looking at was also very reasonable and it was made even better by all the mechanical work they'd put into it and the new tires. We left with a very good deal and a very good experience.
We also felt that they were very professional from start to finish. Mike knew we were working within small time windows because of other appointments. He worked hard to get us in and out quickly both on the initial test drive and trade in appraisal and at the actual purchase. The finance manager who handled the purchase was also very professional and nice. I'd had some very unprofessional experiences at other big dealerships but the people at Ed Martin were great. I will definitely recommend them to friends and will go back myself next time I'm in the market for a car. It was the best experience I've had at any dealership in a very long time.

They keep the same people there. It is good because I have an idea of what is going on and they are knowledgeable. They have the same mechanics for a number of years and the same light up technicians; they don't change. I think that their price is fair.

Great! Even the expensive model. We looked at Maxima S - plain model with leather seats. I made an offer contingent on it being white. They got me - Monday - 8-15-11. I went in and
looked at a Maxima CV - with more accessoriess. They were upfront about price, explained fully the 5- year 50,000 mile comprehensive warranty, different features. I made a counter offer and they compromised. Todd Reisalman, manager, talked with me about differences between the C and CS. Both he and Ken Copley were exceptionally courteous and knowledgeable. What ever questions I asked they answered fully and satisfactorily. They listened to my questions with attention and courtesy. I give them the highet marks possible for professionalism, responsiveness, courtesy, knowledge and great price.
When I called Andy Mohr Buick about canceling my 5-year warranty on my 2009 Buick, Mohr told me I needed an and quot;odometer statement.and quot; I called Ken Copley the next day and he mailed it to me. They are fantastic, I noticed they ahd a placard saying guidelines to quality sales procedures. They were followed. I needed an Odometer statement for my 2009 Buick, in order to get its unexpired warranty refunded. I called 8-17-11 -Ken Copley mailed it to me THAT DAY! Whee- great!!

I go there all the time. They are pretty inexpensive. They are courteous and responsive. They can pretty much do anything for you as long as you let them know ahead of time automobile wise. They will put on accessories for you. They are just like any other dealership. Their shop is always clean. They have a great waiting room that is spotless. When they are done servicing your car, they wash it. They have a car wash right there. They may not wipe it down, but they run the car through it. They are pretty reasonable. What I don't like is that the last 2 times I used the Internet to schedule with them, but they never got the email. The last time I went there I had set it up on their counter where you get an email back asking for your preferred date, but when you show up there, they don't seem to know what you are there for. Of course they fix you in and they get you going. Their website never works. The last 2 times I put in my request through the website thinking I have got it. You get an email feedback saying that you are confirmed for a particular date but when you go there, they haven't seen it. I would use them again in the future. It's not because of them, but I live pretty far from them so I might start going to the Nissan dealer that is right up the street from me.

I bought a 2004 Mustang. The service was good. They were helpful without being pushy. I don’t recall the name of any sales person but they were all very good. I had an Accura before and I wanted to buy another one. So I went to Ed Martin Accura but it was more expensive than I could afford. When I was looking for other cars I ended up going to a couple of showrooms and I had a good experience with the people involved. I got a 3 year bumper to bumper extended warranty because I felt that I needed an extra warranty that covered everything since it was an older car. I don’t know much about cars but I think they were expensive.
