Eagle Creek Nursery & Landscape

Dennis, landscape architect, came out and then drew up a landscape plan with photos of the bushes and plants. We were able to make some adjustments. We scheduled the work in October, after the summer heat. The workers did a beautiful job and all the areas and clean-up look beautiful. The plants seems to be high quality. We had some landscape stones already and they used them to "ring" two areas for us.

If I could give a rating worst than "F", I would do so based on the complete rudeness of their owner Charlie, poor coordination of services, and total lack of respect or follow through on what they promise. Today they are planting the third tree (second under warranty) based on their poor planting skills and the quality of the previous trees planted, as validated by a third-party and highly respected Arborist. I have an additional tree, that while healthy, contained within the root ball Honeysuckle, an exotic and highly invasive plant for which the Indiana DNR recommends eradication. I will never use their services again and would highly discourage anyone from purchasing anything from them. There are plenty of other nurseries in the metro area that are more deserving of your money!

Everyone was professional and did a good job. Dennis Hauersperger was our initial contact. He was very helpful with suggestions on what to plant as well as how to care for our other bushes and trees. We have used Eagle Creek in the past for planting trees and for preparing our landscape beds in the spring, and have been pleased with their work. We plan to hire them again next spring.$1506

We have used them for the past 15 years. Their price is on the high end, but I think it's fair for what they do. The ground is immaculate when they leave. They pick up every little twig and every little piece of something that looks like it doesn't belong there. They trim bushes. They stand by their guarantee and if they plant something and it doesn't survive to the next winter, they will put a new one in for free. They tell you a price and they stick with it. They are very good and I would recommend them to anybody. Ron comes with a crew of two people. He is very easy to talk to. They are good at listening to what you want. They take their time and stop what they are doing to answer any questions. I talk with Charlie on the phone and tell him what I want and need. They communicate with you. They are both excellent.

I originally purchased a very large established sugar maple tree for my front yard in 2011.  The nursery staff planted it so it was guaranteed for 2 years.  For some unknown reason, the tree did not survive, and they replaced it in 2013 just before the warranty expired.  It survived fairly well for the first 2 years, however, this spring, it failed to fully bloom and produce leaves.  Rob Darmer (arborist) came out to assess the tree. Even though I had already received a free replacement tree, he allowed me to get a 2nd one even though the 2 year warranty had expired.  He was very gracious, caring, and extremely helpful.  The new smaller tree was planted today....all free of charge.  This business still puts the customer first, and they will go out on a "limb: to correct any issues.  I will always use Eagle Creek Nursery for my landscaping/garden needs.!

The job looks beautiful.  I asked for plants that would be drought tolerant and low maintenance.

Work was done efficiently and in a timely manner. My neighbor, who serves on our condo board, was observing the work being done and was very impressed with project also.

Eagle Creek Nursery had a good selection of the 6 or 7 species of trees that I was considering for my yard.  The sales person at the nursery was helpful in finding and helping me select the trees for our yard.  Eagle Creek delivered and planted the trees about 2-1/2 weeks later, which was within the time frame that they had told me.

1)  New Tree - did a fabulous job at a fair price
2)  New Landscaping
- labor was fine, the product plants/flowers was below expectations. 
The plan that was drawn up was nice, appeared to show mature plants,
costs seemed in line with mature plants.   Plants delivered were very young.    Price for plants was way out of line; even with an expectation of a mark up from a nursery.   Feel a bit deceived between plan and plants delivered.    
If you have money to burn these guys would be fine.

They're excellent. They're wonderful.

I like that there seems to be a lot of variety. They have a lot of outside area where they have their trees, bushes, and plants. Inside the building are more for the things you would use for gardening and decorations for your garden. I went there because they were recommended on Angie’s List, but then, they are not too far from where I live and I was looking for some landscaping plants. The cost depends on what you buy. The trees cost more than the bush.
