First, we love the cabinets that we selected and purchased. However, the customer service was terrible. We are still waiting on items that we bought, paid for, requested and it's like the company does not care about it's customers whatsoever. we paid cash in full for the items purchased. Once the money changed hands, customer service disappeared.
We are so very disappointed because the sales pitches were fantastic. We were excited about doing business with Drexel. Never again. They were to give us a touch up kit. Never received. They ordered us stain (that we paid for) that would match the cabinets for a shelf we were putting in and the stain was even close to matching.
Because I do not have good things to say, I would rather end this because it would just be a bash session. Buyer beware and best of luck.

We worked with Bill Schafer who did a fantastic job helping us make selections for our kitchen renovation.  Bill went out of his way to be sure we were happy and had a lot suggestions that we utilized.  You couldn't ask for a better salesperson.  He also helped us with replacing our basement bar and garage sink for which he had no obligation to our main contractor, again going out of his way to help us out.

I was introduced to Drexel through my kitchen remodeling company.  I met with Bill Schaefer at their office.  He and others in the office helped me with my cabinet and hardware selections.  Bill did a good job designing my kitchen as I chose to keep my existing granite countertops.

I worked alongside Shannon, designing my kitchen. She responded quickly with questions via email. They also matched home depots cabinet quote with a higher end cabinet ! I chose Kountrywood which was amish made and a high quality cherry wood. I am so happy!

After a great deal of searching for a vendor to paint our new construction home we settled on Drexel. We closed on a Friday and Drexel was there Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday painting our home. Him and his crew (yes, he is there during the job) did a fantastic job on the house without leaving a mess or trashing the house in the process. We went with different colors for each room of the house and our rate reflected this added complexity. Still, given the size of the work (3,000 square foot home) and the number of guys he had on the job 3K was a bargain.

It was at least $1800 for the cabinets, the countertops, and the installation. It was fine. We really like the cabinets, and the countertops worked out fine. I really don't have any issues with them at all.

The salesman at the store was very informed and good to work with. The installers were prompt and efficient. They had to move a great deal of furniture and did it without any issues. They cleaned up after themselves and hauled everything away. Have already given the name to others.

They did our tile in the hallway and the living room and they did an excellent job. They also did a cabinet for us when we built our house in 1996 and we have not replaced it yet. They also did some carpeting for us and it was good. They give quality work.

Very poorly. The remodel got off to a strong start, with the designer and my wife working together on a very nice floorplan for the job-then, the trouble began. The start of the job was delayed because the supposedly reliable cabinent maker fell behind on his production schedule, pushing back the start time by 4 weeks. Suddenly, with 3 days notice, Drexel informed us they were prepared to start the tear out, forcing us to scramble to empty out our kitchen area in less than 3 days. After the tear out, it was discovered that the designer mismeasured custom floor to ceiling cabinent units, creating a week long delay and requiring the production of two new cabinents. Details we expected to be included in the final product were NOT included-ceiling can lights, floor register covers (which Drexel claimed they DID NOT stock) (???) and little fit and finish items that would normally be part of ANY total kitchen remodel. The subcontractors who did the tear out damaged our incoming kitchen water lines, causing water to leak into our basement for two days and causing nearly 1000.00 dollars worth of damage and clean up. The Drexel scheduler failed to schedule to installation of the kitchen counter tops, causing another two week delay in the completion. The crown molding around the top of the newly installed cabinents were 1 and a half inches below the ceiling, creating a gap that looked absolutely silly. When we demanded the molding be raised to be flush with the ceiling, the designer again mismeasured the perimeter and we ended up being charged for custom made molding that was not even removed for it's packing materials. We requested custom tile be installed to a height of 60 inches around the perimeter of the kitchen, and we received 56 inches of tiling despite having paid for 60. Door thresh holds were left unfinished by the tile installers, and they had to be rescheduled to return to finish what were glaringly obvious omissions We were also charged for new trim around our window openings, when in fact the old wood trim was reused and reinstalled aroiund the windows after receiving a fresh coat of primer paint. .What was supposed to take 4-6 weeks ultimately took 11 weeks. Living without a kitchen for 4 to 6 weeks is difficult. Living without out a kitchen for 11 weeks is a nightmare. Our experience with Drexel was terrible. When 41,000 dollars are spent on a major remodel, complete, reliable, and efficient results are not unreasonable.

I had no problem with the living room and the dining room. With the bedroom carpeting, I went in and found carpeting I liked in the showroom and a lady named Roma sold it to me. I told her that I wanted the thickest padding available and she said she would do that. They came out and I had to pay them more than $200 for them to move the furniture. One of the supervisors stood in the hallway the entire time the carpet was being laid. I came in to check the carpet on a Friday and it was like stepping on concrete as it was the thinnest padding possible. I called them on Monday and spoke with the guy who did the living room, dining room, and hallway and he said that Roma doesn't usually sell carpeting. The guy finally came out and said they'd redo it with the thick padding. They came and pulled it up and I had to pay several hundreds more. The padding is thicker in some spots than others now. There is also buckling in the hallway carpeting that was never fixed. They said that a board had come up, but they didn't address the problem when laying the carpet. I am now out of thousands of dollars with this company.

Very satisfied with customer service. After living in a new house for a year and unhappy with the carpet, Drexel didn't question us about the wear of the product and instead offered us a replacement product. We upgraded our carpet for a reasonable cost and had it installed with out the headache that we expected. It was a huge relief, we love our new carpet and were extremly pleased with the installers. Very impressed with the entire process!

While constructing a new build, we worked with Drexel to identify and install tiling for the entryway, bathrooms and laundry room; engineered wood on part of the lower level; and hardwood on the upper level. First, the wood flooring upstairs was installed incorrectly. While we were told wood expands in heat, it buckled in multiple spots in the same toom within weeks of installation and one piece near the top of the stairs became dislodged just weeks after installation. Meanwhile, the grout between the tiling in the entryway has eroded ... twice. since moving in last August. Even a third-party contractor came out and said the wood should not be buckling this soon and that, clearly, the wood was improperly installed.
As for the tiling, we've been waiting for two weeks now for Drexel to get back with us about repairing the tile in the entryway and, unsurprisingly, haven't heard a peep. My wife even called them more than a week after her first call, to which someone on the phone told her it was unusual to wait more than 48 hours for a return call and that someone WOULD be getting back with her this time within that window. Well, here we are almost a full week later and we still have received no call.
What's disappointing about all this is that Drexel repeatedly said one of the reasons why the cost of some of their materials was higher than of comparable products at the Home Depot or Lowe's is because of the and quot;serviceand quot; that comes with it. Next time, we'll be going to Lowe's or the Home Depot since we've seen what and quot;serviceand quot; you get from Drexel.

It was wonderful. From the start I really wanted a linoleum floor for our 90-year old house because the house had been updated in the 1950s with great blue-green tile and the floor was linoleum when I bought the house 18 years ago,. We had to have the old flooring torn out abut 15 years ago because of water damage and vinyl flooring was badly installed at the time. Drexel is one of the few flooring companies that sell and install linoleum, but because it is a very green and classic option, they were happy to do it. We ordered the floor in mid-November, one of the managers came out a few days later to do detailed measurements and sold us the flooring we had selected at that time. In early December we made the appointment for the installers to come on December 14th, I was warned that it might take two days to install because linoleum can be difficult. We were told they would be here between 8--10 am and they arrived close to 10. My husband was home for the job, and said they were very expert and had no problems. The floor was installed as well as all of the other details they had agreed to and were done by 2 pm. The floor is beautiful! We would definitely use them again.

It was not a very pleasent experience. They had to relay the carpet because it was different colors at the seems. They never informed me what the issue with the color was but they did come back to correct the issue. The second time, a different crew came out to the home. The carpet has small tears where they over cut in the corners. They have been out numerous times to repair those issues. They used the old tack strips instead of installing new ones. The old carpet was 20 years old and thicker so the tack strips were further away from the wall. There are places where I can pull the carpet up easily. They are pleasant to deal with but the number of repairs are just too many.

I had used Drexel many years ago and was satisfied, so when I needed items for a bathroom remodel and needed a and quot;one stop shoppingand quot; option I went back to Drexel. The experience started out well enough with the sales person being pleasant and helpful, but after everything was ordered all service went downhill. My contractor needed the specs for the back of the vanity to install the plumbing rough in and the sales person was unable to provide these. Interestingly, with my sales ticket and a fair amount of online searching, I was able to find them. Neither cabinetry or flooring arrived within the projected timeline from the sales person. He called me on Weds before Christmas and told me everything would be ready for pickup at 8 am the next morning, but he was leaving town. I called on Thursday to assure that everything was in and ready for pickup. The person that I spoke with informed me that she was the only person working the sales floor in this large store and it took repeated calls for her to find out that everything was actually there. When my contractor went to pick up these items the first of the next week, he was told the flooring was not in. It took another day for a helpful office person (apparently no managers worked the week between Christmas and New Years) to get the flooring from the warehouse to their store. When I arrived back in town on New Years Eve, I realized there was no hardware for the cabinetry. When I called the store, a person identifying himself as a manager told me that the issue with the flooring had all been a mistake - it had been in the store all along (no apology, etc. and no concern that this put us 2 days behind on the job). He then located my hardware (again, no apology) and I had to make a trip to pick it up because his offer to deliver was going to take a week! The only person who ever seemed concerned about the poor service in all this was the office accountant.)
I was sorely disappointed with this company and had planned to do total flooring in my home with them later this year (and had informed them of this), but that will not happen. While I realize this was not a big order for this company, I was amazed at the total lack of concern for customer service, the fact that I will never use them again, or that they have lost any business from a contractor that had not used them before and never will.
