WHILE DOUG IS A VERY NICE MAN AND KNOWLEDGEABLE, HIS ABILITY TO DO THINGS ON TIME WAS POOR, AND FOLLOW UP VERY POOR. HIS PRICING WAS A BIT HIGH, BUT I USED HIM BECAUSE I THOUGHT HIS IDEAS WERE GOOD. A YEAR HAS PASSED SINCE HIS WORK, THE THE JOB FOR THE GRASS SEEDING HAS NOT HELD UP VERY WELL.

DIDNT GRADE ON PRICES BECAUSE I COULDNT GET ANY OTHER ESTIMATES. IT WAS A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE END RESULT.

DESIGN WAS GOOD BUT WORK AND MATERIALS SUPPLIED WAS THE WORST. TOP SOIL TURNED OUT TO BE CLAY. WE HAVE LOST OVER HALF OF THE BUSHES. HEMLOCK TREE IS DYING. WORKMANSHIP ON BRICK PORCH FOR WHICH HE CONTRACTED IS INFERIOR. VERY HARD TO GET IN TOUCH WITH. ALTOGETHER A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE.

DOUG IS QUICK TO RETURN CALLS AND PUNCTUAL FOR APPOINTMENTS. I DOWNGRADED HIS PUNCTUALITY BECAUSE HE IS SLOW TO GET THE JOB SCHEDULED. HE CHANGED OUR START DATE SEVERAL TIMES. THIS WAS UPSETTING SINCE WE TOLD HIM UP FRONT THAT WE WERE WORKING WITHIN A SPECIFIC TIME FRAME. HIS STRONG SELLING POINT FOR HIRING HIM TO TRIM OUR TREES AND SHRUBS IS THAT HE IS AN ARBORIST. INSTEAD OF HIM DO THE WORK HIMSELF, HE HAD HIS EMPLOYEE DO IT AND IT HAD TO BE REDONE.
